Just in case I was not read correctly I wanted to repeat that I do not believe this needs to turn into an illegals debate but I knew it would. I am not so blind as to know it could have been anyone and I don't want anyone to think I am lessoning the sting of it by taking it into a political realm.

I don't care if he came from Pluto he shouldn't have been here if he didn't have legal papers to be. And these are two different issues for me even though I have a STRONG voice against our current immigration policies. I voiced what I did about this incident because it would be used and yes abused in regards to the HOT subject of immigration. And by this forum alone I would say that was a valid point.

Mine was both, thanking God for the spared and thank God as an exclamation. I no longer have rose colored glasses to believe that the just won't be hurt but I don't believe God to be the source of such hurt either. I know I call this a family and that may sound dorky at times but when I left twi and everyone I knew left me (with little exception) this place became many things to me. And even though I get radical at times I grow here.

When I was a kid there was this story going around that if you went into the bathroom and said Bloody Mary into the mirror three times she would appear. For years I would sing inside my head for fear I would think her name and make it happen. I had a teacher in junior high school that died when one of the students who professed to be a witch put a spell on her. The teachers car got stuck on train tracks and a train hit her. We all stayed away from that student the rest of our school time together. I then heard a little bit about Wicca and it sounded like a peaceful group that didn't partake in black magic and such but those things I'd experienced as a youth and the fact that twi taught us it was all from the devil has kept me from even looking into it in fear I would bring something upon myself. This has been an interesting thread, thank you for how you have interacted with each other and allowed us to learn rather than be angry towards each other in defense of your views making it hard to read through and gain understanding. I will probably still not put any time into researching it but I also respect Oak and feel a person proves them self out in their actions which speaks louder than anything.

And my prayers also to all you parents here that have students yourselves, may your hearts be at peace and know that they are protected.

It seems wild to think I could have posted that many times but when I first came here I posted constantly. If I didn't post on every thread I felt like I was insulting the thread starter. But then I realized it was okay not to post everywhere and no one expected me to also. That actually made it even more enjoyable here because I took the pressure off myself. But I wouldn't trade all 10,000 of those posts for anything. I have loved this place from the start. :)
