If what you believe contradicts what I see in the Word clearly stated with no room for either your and my PI then you and I can believe all we want to but if it does not line up with His truth it's simply that. Our beliefs. Nothing personal cman, just the way it is in my world. I have a little bit of knowledge about that dude up there and have been through the fire of twi's explanations and came out to find light. I'm not easily pulled away from His statutes.

I have problems believing that since the Word says one will be left while another will be taken. Also why would God take someone that denies His existence. All men have the shot at accepting Him but not all men will believe and certainly not all men are His children.

Tell me the time and I'll be there.

I've wondered what it will be like for those who do not believe. How will this earth seem for them then. I'm thankful I'll never have to experience it. It makes my insides shudder for those left behind.

It seems to be getting less in rain now. The sun is out but the birds are literally dancing outside and the grass is celebrating so loud I can almost hear it. We could still use a full week of rain and not get our water tables up though. This has been a rough year of drought it seems. I hope y'all get more rain and us also, actually everywhere there are fires and drought.

Understand, yet see nothing contradictory about Christ being who he was and how he came about there. And I go back to how big of a deal bearing Christ would be. That would have trumped Josephs concern over cultural issues in a second. Also God in his foreknowledge knew who Mary would become married to so He knew Joseph would be the right man also. Nothing thus far has proven it was not Christ's seed and it was not a virgin conception. (I really wish this system would allow a new post to be a new post)

It must be the pull of the rain outside of which I am digging because I am still confused as to how espoused was proven to mean married rather than engaged. From my research into the Hebrew usage it was found to be engaged and yes it did involve more than we modern folks view it as but it was still not married. Also I understand Mary not being able to go to Joseph due to customs but God provided 'out of the box' situations all throughout the overseeing of his seed being born so I don't hold to the 'letter of the law' in regards to this. As to if Joseph knew (had sex) with Mary prior to Christ's birth I was only implying perhaps in light of the fact it was NOT Joseph's child and the importance of who it was they might have chosen not to have sex until after he was born. But that is all my thinking. Mary was no longer a virgin once she 'knew' Joseph.

It has turned into a wonderful rain for us. It got harder last night and continued all night long. This morning I've been watching it fall and I swear you can see the grass and plants getting greener before your eyes. We are so thankful. And I hope it puts out some of our fires also.

The ducks and critters are running around trying to get the little bit of run off on the side of the streets to drink and bathe in. I've never seen it this dry before. I hope you stay safe this season Raf. And I hope you keep the rain only enough to be helpful.

It rained for half an hour max so I hope it hasn't left our area. We are in dire straits for it.
