  1. Rick and Steve...so sorry...yeah right! :)--> A new one and see y'all later.
  2. Um, well I wish I had never seen this
  3. I thought it was excellent. But then IMHO it would be hard for me not to love anything Kevin Spacey did. And no lie, I still don't know if he was or was not. According to the movie line of course. :)-->
  4. Y'all have it. An interesting movie I thought. And Sudo, I've gone back and forth on whether he was real or not. And based on the movie I'm not sure. Since it looks like most have it the movie was K-Pax where Kevin Spacey played Prot. Now everyone go back to sleep. It's late you know, what you doing up anyway reading about guys who think they are, and just may be. ;)-->
  5. Your produce alone was worth the trip. Anyone recognize what movie this came from?
  6. Yup, and you even used his real name. :)-->
  7. This will be easy I know but which one of these played a stereotype Asian character?
  8. Hey, are you calling me an old lady? :P--> :)-->
  9. Howard, I was looking for this experiment that was done with a group of children in a schoolhouse set on cliff with a fence along the cliff line. The children were very at ease playing all way up to that fence line. Then they took it away and the children without any provocation wouldn't leave the area surrounding the schoolhouse itself. They weren't even comfortable with the distance they normally would have been, it affected them that much. Of course as an adult I too would be intimidated by the fence being removed but it did illustrate in my mind the benefit to boundaries of a form. I learned it wasn't actually a bad word at all. Well in my failed search I found an article and thought it had some worthy items mixed in. Gotta go. And sorry for the major derail y'all.
  10. Oops to Steve! :(--> Matilda, having never been a smoker I can't truly relate but I can to habits of other kinds I'm quite sure. Still and all I must admit when watching John Wayne movies with my John Wayne loving hubby I have seen him smoking and thought the same thing, regarding his death. But are we easy targets? Yup! Some are waaaaaay easy. Hmmm wonder if that is how some of us end up being so screwed over in life? Oh man that is like way too serious for a lunch break item. And like NOT this thread at all. :)--> c-y'all
  11. Grumpy is good and appropriate at times. :)--> You're doing fine man! ;)-->
  12. Howard, I haven't read this thread and probably won't as I limit my time here at gsc BUT.... I did read your last post and I admire your stand on "fatherhood". In light of THIS subject as well. I grew up not having the love or acceptance of a father, he was there but absent from me. I spent my childhood and early teens trying to be good enough for him, and always failing! If I had to do that with my heavenly Father I might just say screw it! You fathers that read this please DO NOT underestimate your role in your children's lives. Sorry, this is a personal subject for me. Goodbye!
  13. Sudo, looks like they all know it so hope ya don't mind my visual clue. ;)-->
  14. In light of that what about the old movies and television shows where they are smoking cigarettes. Like in the hospital room when the patient is on oxygen. Weren't the tobacco companies the advertisers?
  15. That was funny for sure. Seems to me it was a pleasant exchange afterwards but I can't recall what was said, I must have been laughing with them too much to hear it. :)-->
  16. ha ha ha ha....I was posting and missed your post to me on the rumor....ha ha ha ha ....gosh I was posting for 4 minutes....I must have gotten up and left the room or something....ha ha ha ha (so it's in the middle of the night! what ya want anyway? ;)--> )
  17. WordWolf, thanks! I do pay attention to your advice. Howard, your stuff concerning the existence of dinosaurs, and when did they exist is very kewl. When I can I will check out that link. Thanks!
  18. What the Hay, I agree with some of your thinking. You seem to lean toward personal accountability, and in that I am sold out. But some of your stuff...well...like I said I agree with some of your thinking.
