In a scene that would certainly be more chick than guy thing the powerful presence of this man said to a woman while sleeping... "You must make your own life amongst the living and, whether you meet fair winds or foul, find your own way to harbor in the end." Shortly thereafter he vanished. It was a strong male lead IMHO for that time.

Her sister lived not too far from me in Illinois. She came to visit her on occasion, and it was news. Also Joan Allen came from the city I lived in at the time. That was really news for our small community. :)-->

sharon, I reckon some may say it's a chick flick but I think men would enjoy it as well. After all with him as lead and the subject matter I just can't imagine it not being interesting to a man.
