Sweet Moon Girl, Our mascot isn't the tree or even the pseudo pot leaf. We have this real agile guy with a big head ya know. And I bet he could knock your pirate over (when he had his back to him). :D Now as to your little kitty in pirate hat for your avatar well I'm afraid of it. :)

I can provide the answer because of Ala's clue but I still have no idea what I'm telling you. I laughed at Moon Girl and the Tampa Bay team versus Ohio State "Bucks". And Rick's right on we're the real deal. :) And Ala your closing of Then, after all that, she had an answering machine come back and say... I'm sorry, you will have to leave your name and NUMBER (of which she did not have because they had failed to install her phone) and we will get back to you.  I didn't watch the game although in our area while you're shopping you can listen to it because it's on the intercom in several places. I too understand the Bucks were faltering but in the later they methodically moved down the field with short passes and they made a touch down and that's what won the game. This was according to hubby who was watching part of it with the neighbors. But Michigan was good! And back to that buckeye tree. When we first moved here and I saw this I thought it looked so much like this that I couldn't understand how they could be legally using it. And the real deal (McCoys) on that song is much better than the band's version Rick.

Sudo, If I understand correctly a double sharp alters a note be a tone. And what Cowgirl brought us was I suspect very helpful in understanding due to Moon Girl's post but I'm still clueless. Perhaps I'm just off my game in general and am missing something quite obvious and will in time laugh at myself for it.
-
I'm sorry Sudo but even though I recognize the piece I don't know the name even with the guys clues.
-
Well I didn't quote you cause I knew it'd tell me I had too many smilies..... :D Okay back to work again, I left so fast after I posted the last one I wasn't even sure if it took. Came back to say this one is a tad odd.....
-
I really don't know the attraction still but I enjoyed it for a time. I was never impressed with Joey (Katie Holmes) as a character though (too much angst) and I know nothing of her personally except she's having the baby of a man that I think is a jerk (Tom Cruise). But I did liked Pacey and Andie and they made the show worth it for me I reckon. Well the day is nearly over. :)
-
So now I know you are both focused and rather exact. ;) Oops Sudo you snuck in there dude. Okay back again....I need to figure out what is open still, one sec and I'll be right back. Okay lets see. The first one is still open and SaintGeorge guessed a name that is in the show. The second one was Alice and Mr. Focused Exact Man got that one. The third one is still open and hiwayman guessed CREEK which is part of the answer. The fourth one is still open and MEDICAL is another clue. ;) The fifth one was Flying Nun and Moon Girl guessed that one. I think that is correct.

By a very loose association. You mentioned hauntingly. Like I said a very loose......

Now I know why you said "what sex". That show kinda danced around that topic didn't it? And I agree you never see reruns of it. My hair was just like hers on my wedding day but it was loaded with stuff to keep it in place and I'd not considered that before I had it done and wore a blouse that had no opening but the head and I wanted to take that blouse with me on our honeymoon. So my mother cut the seam in the top of the blouse and after helping me remove it without messing up my hair she sewed it back together so I could take it with me. Geez, all that for a dadgum favorite blouse. Now are you sorry you brought up that television show? :D
-
A jewish nun.....how interesting.....and I bet Ted is thankful you didn't decide to become one. :D Okay back to work again. Oh btw you named the one hiway29 just about named. Well you know that one as well. And I admit I can't quite figure out why it held me attention as long as it did.
-
Having myself on automatic email delivery really does draw me back here. hiway29, Yup! You know the star in the last link! And you about named it but just in case someone doesn't recognize it still and wants to guess I'll hold off on saying the actual name of the show. As for Alice well I enjoyed the interaction of cast members the most and it was a woman's beating her chest kind of thing as well. :) It was good to see you also hiwayman. Back to work I go.
-
Okay to recap my links should that be helpful. HERE This one SaintGeorge gave an excellent clue on. HERE This one SaintGeorge named...ALICE. HERE This one still un-guessed although Moon Girl recognized the song. HERE This one had a lead man that some swooned over for a period. HERE This one SaintGeorge was close I suspect but I think bowtwi may know it. Y'all have a wonderful day.
-
Moon Girl, I'll admit that song I posted for you and your sweetie pie is romantic but it also genders other emotions :o whereas this one Rick posted is just flat out romantic. Bowtwi, Was I ever tickled to see your font here. You add to anywhere you post Girl. Hang around please! And don't laugh but I have to go listen to that song again cause I can't remember what it is without listening. brb Well I don't know cause I'm not sure if you and SaintGeorge's part of the description of hauntingly might not actually be what some would refer to the show as. And bowtwi if you mean the main star would ask a question like "what sex" well you'd be right on.
-
I think I know the one you're referring to and I really loved that show but nope not this particular clip. And you tickled me the way you identified them with time. :)
-
OMG! LMAO......I never even thought of that....... I'm not sure if this link will work but I swear this movie was actually very good and the frog and french thing reminded me of it and if I can find the music I'll bring it here but not tonight as I'm not wanting to work at all anymore. :D
-
Ala, You little jumping frog you. So what is the background behind that avatar and if I've asked and you've answered just pretend like you haven't and tell me again please. :D I have to agree again on that song. I've sang it with Rick a few times and you can hardly finish it without chocking up.
-
Yeah it was and I'd never heard it until I saw the show then I noticed it was playing on the radio. So I don't know which came first. :) This next one I actually enjoyed but maybe it was a girl thing. And it's my last link for the night and I hope Sudo has noticed. ;) HERE
-
Hey SaintGeorge, You know both of them that's for sure. I enjoyed them both myself. The interactions of the Alice cast was most enjoyable. And here's another for y'all. I had a crush on the main star in this one. And it's a little closer to being nostalgia. HERE
-
How could I wonder if he had a preference. I tell ya what with a dadgum television as big as a truck and that sound he has going on we sure did have fun that night watching live from Nashville didn't we? And another theme song for y'all. And I have to admit I was hooked for a couple years on this show. HERE
-
And here's the theme for the reference to Sudo and grits HERE
-
Hey you! It's always so nice to see your smile and that hat LindaZ gave you. You know how at home y'all make me feel. And I'd no more than pulled out of your drive and already wanted to return. :) Blues would be my choice although I grew up around bluegrass so that sure is home for me as well. Which does hubby prefer by the way or did you say that and I spaced it.
-
Sudo, I'm glad Rick named him because I flat out didn't know who it was. And I tell ya what Mister. Had I been treated so sweetly while being challenged in The Way who knows I might of stayed around a bit longer....NOT! You're fun Sudo! :) And here is a theme for a show I truly enjoyed but don't ask me to remember whole episodes cause I just can't remember that stuff anymore. HERE Rick, Thank you for sharing that with us and what comfort you brought that woman. And that song.......well you already know how much I love that dang song!
-
Well this will have to do until I can listen and attend to you proper like from home: :P
-
I'm working but my mind is too dang active and I just had to come back and share something with y'all. As those close to me realize all too well I work diligently at self-esteem issues. But one thing that just struck me here in my work environment was how these folks seem very willing to share their observations of my abilities openly with me and others that would have any interest in knowing. This is something you seldom see in a work environment as I suspect employers are hesitant to kudos their employees for concern they'll ask for a raise. And this is only a side thought actually because what I was going for was how my time in twi for a greater portion was in fear of my performance and knowing all too well you may be told this morning all is well but this evening be used as an example of what not to do. I've felt that stare from supposed peers more than once. In my circle of intimate friends I expect and receive blunt honesty regarding their thoughts pertaining to me. Some of you that post on this thread are part of that group of friends and I just wanted to state it out loud how thankful I am for that. Okay I must return to work but just needed to get that off my chest. (now Geo who better get his butt back here does shock me :o with his honesty on occasion)

Wow! I think that is kind of cool. :) Well it felt good to pretend when I just saw your reply in my inbox as I snuck a quick look from work. Thanks for the warm and fuzzy this morning.
