  1. I bet Ted has asked to see it right?! ;) Cowgirl, I was able to listen to your link and what a lovely song that is. Very tender! I live in a burb of Columbus Ohio. And it did accumulate so things are white but not solid white and I'm certain you know exactly what that is. :) I do love snow but I must admit when I was cleaning off my car tonight to come home I did consider the costs of that white stuff. And I still love it. ;)
  2. Cool Cowgirl! And I looked that flower up for a bit of history which I thought I remembered it had. There's more but I must return to work now. It's snowing outside. :) The famous edelweiss of the Alps was the cause for what is supposedly the first legislation for plant protection. Growing high on steep slopes, it was a challenge to collect, and so became highly sought by male climbers as a gift and sign of devotion to their girlfriends. The German alpine club, to protect the plant (and also its members from undue climbing dangers), imposed fines for its collection. The name means: daring, courage, nobel purity.
  3. Cowgirl, That is an Edelweiss isn't it? There is some romantic history to that flower I think. Although so far I can't tie a movie to that flower and song but I haven't given up yet. :) Out the door for lunch, y'all be well.
  4. Here's a rather nice picture I thought and it includes something dear to her. I think she's a classy lady myself. Hiwayman, Then perhaps my dancing pair brought a smile to you and that would be my hope for repayment for what your post did for me yesterday. I did enjoy them as well as Abbot and Costello but couldn't get into the Stooges. Moon Girl, I knew it was rotten of me but I'll pay for my long weekend come Monday, still dancing I am! :)
  5. I call that being a brat! <_< Sudo, Yeah sure I'll help, it'd be my pleasure Sir. And it looks like Cowgirl is having some fun and I hope she stays around. And my goodness I know the answer to that link but heck if I can find it anywhere in my head to tell ya so maybe by the time you return I'll have found it. Have too much fun! Cowgirl, That's a wonderful song that I bet has a variety of memories associated to it. I love how songs will do that don't do? Hiwayman, :P
  6. I must tell you I laughed so hard when I read your post and it was a welcomed one at that. Hadn't had one minute to look at the forum since daybreak but read your reply in my inbox and laughed out loud. :D Here's the story of the getting the blouse off. And the story of putting on the wedding dress well it had a zipper in the back. :) Moon Girl and Rick, yup on the MTM and I tell ya what I was hooked. ;)
  7. Hiwayman, I had helmet hair on my wedding day. :o Cowgirl, I'll listen when home. Cool you posted a song though! :) I mean what's wrong with this hair dude? :D
  8. Girl......:).....thanks you guys.....have a great day all!
  9. Theme for a show mentioned here recently HERE
  10. It's a lovely thing to be ya know....a moon girl. :)
  11. I'm thankful your safely on your home soil again! One of my nephews serving his second year just arrived home as well. The other hopefully after the first of the year.
  12. Medical Center Rick, ya know what the music sounded familiar but this picture doesn't so I'm not sure if I watched it or not. Sudo, thanks and I enjoyed doing them finally and I loved Flipper. But no lie watching Kung Fu was like a religious experience for us. (stoners  :D ya know)
  13. Awww.... ..... Ted and Moony sitting in a tree k-i-s-s-i-n-g....have a great day all!
  14. Have we worked thru that little doodad yet? And Ted I bet your Moony loved your song.
  15. Ted, No lie! You know how I will cry! The thought of you logging on going what in the world! :D :D Moon Girl, You do make me smile but I must ask you where did the afternoon part of that come into play? :) And you got both. The first is Eight Is Enough and I don't know  either. And Flipper for sure but then that was a given. :) Under the circumstances I would say that is quite normal. I mean ain't every day you read something like this in post. I swear I shall laugh till I hurt over this. I'm sorry Ted but this is rich! Cause it's so freakin' outthere in regards to you. :D
  16. While we're working on that one I don't even know if I would recognize this one but I did watch the show some. HERE A clue is quiet would be something you wouldn't expect to find there. (and I'm fibbing cause the dang song gives itself away....hahahahahaha) Okay so that was easy I know so let me give you one even easier just cause I loved this show. How about y’all? HERE I'm very sure this one is just as easy as those so won't even bother with a clue. But we watched this show with cult like attention. And that's all for now. Just thought I'd give ya some easy ones while we worked on that one we can't get. HERE
  17. Thank ya kindly! :D What does that mean? (I love this face) (any excuse to use it ya know) :)
  18. I'm sorry but I was doing something else and had to come back cause I swear that still cracks me up that even for a second you thought I meant Ted. Okay I have got to stop this now.
  19. hahahahahaha.....omg.....NO I was talking about Richard Chamberlain......hahahahahahahahahaha I bet that long distance thing really is wearing on you both. But it sounds like y'all are working on that. :)
  20. I promise not to try and turn you into a Midwesterner Moon Girl. And I can only imagine Ted was pretty happy to move south. :) I knew he was gay for so long I forgot that I once didn't know but somewhere he just stopped looking like what I once swooned over in a big way and today I think nah. How totally rude I reckon. But I was 8 years old and today I'm....I don't want to talk about it. :( I hope nice weekends are being had.
  21. Yup! Dr. Chamberlain Kildare it was and I was one of those swoonies although today I go yuck. Today I think Ben Casey would be my choice. I'm certain I watched whatever that show was but I don't know what it is. And Mr. Exact……buck / buc….. Oops....I meant to have some smilies in this post so.... :) :P :)
  22. To finish off my links: HERE SaintGeorge's clue of John Lithgow is probably as good a clue there is so if that doesn't ring a bell you probably didn't watch the show. ;) HERE The clues on this one are lead man swooned over in a medical role. And I'll add it was in the early 60's and this man played another role in the early 80's that became the one he's more recognized for.
