SaintGeorge, Did he play Quark? Ala, There's a program you can download that will strip the title away as well as convert files. I have that one but haven't mastered it yet. I have another program though that I use which also converts but isn't as good as that one. Why don't you mess around with posting for a bit longer and then we'll teach you that better program. See the thing about changing the name like Rick taught you was to shorten the name you linked (for the most part) but once the file is burned with the title in it even if you change it the name remains. :( I thought I'd recognized the singer in your last link and just about the time I had that thought I to saw the name like bowtwi did. :) Cowgirl, I think that is a program you were wanting to learn also so you could strip your titles. Let me get familiar with it girls and I'll help teach ya. Or the guys can also since they know it better than I perhaps. Pirate, Sudo and Rick, That's real cool about the start of this thread. I'm gonna head away again for the night but all rest well that ain't doing it already. And Ala I love this you used in the way you did. Because you certainly were a sad girl for a little while.

I've tried the tea thing several times over the years and can't do it cold or hot. :( And as for the other....well that is such a misunderstood drug. :blink: And gosh for the times I should have gotten in so much trouble like the time I and a few friends drove in our own car on a field trip during high school. We were headed to a local college to see the Planetarium. And we thought we'd get relaxed along the way. Well to start we were a dead give away when upon opening the doors of the beetle we were in out came this cloud of smoke. And anyone that has smoked that stuff knows it has a unique aroma. So into the Planetarium we go and after a few minutes of looking up at the ceiling full of stars in that darkened room we forgot we weren't alone. What I never understood was why they just let us go on. But we were pulled aside as we exited the building and spoken to quite harshly and threatened should we ever show of cause again. Oops was I supposed to show this at the beginning of this post.

I knew that now that it came out. It was like bong! that's it! And RealPlayer is the option I went with. I already had it on my PC but downloaded it on my laptop as well. It enables me to listen to Ala's links except for those last ones you weren't able to convert either. But she won't be using those anymore as I know she mentioned. I use to think I had that power because threads stopped after I posted in them all the time that first year. I posted like my fingers were magnetically drawn here. :blink: I love Billie Holliday! This will sound dumb perhaps but I don't like his version. :( But that's how I've always felt about Clapton (love/hate thing). You're doing really great Ala. :) I liked Father Knows Best but I knew it wasn't the real world I lived in but it made me feel hopeful for something bigger than my world. I missed you guys and I'm glad to be back home.

Another great thread guys. And at risk of embarrassing Geo....he nevers slams me for my belief system when we talk and I assure you the man has had to read it a couple times from me...it's me. As well Sudo and I have had many a wonderful talk and he too knows...it's me. As for Mark...well I admire the man so much it has to be obvious. He has a way of stripping away the myths and voodoo and the answer for why is the reason I regard him so highly. He searched the scriptures to see that they were and he weighs man's (Catholic) words against the soundness of moral structure that the word provides whether all agree or not. Now as for the guessingguy.....well I told him recently some of his stuff should be read while stoned....do forgive me but you seem like you have thick enough skin to handle it.

And Sushi that was another part of the puzzle that we figured out also. We thought you had to have in order for the whole thing to make sense. And if that made sense you need to go back and rest Mister. :blink:

Okay here’s the scoop. Our new little link poster that dances all over the page will not be linking those type things anymore. She has a vast library to choose from that will allow us all to listen, although some will have to be done with other than Media Player. Which brings me to Sudo's question and yes RealPlayer will play those without you having to convert them. And it was an itunes issue which doesn't really need to be gotten into since she doesn’t have to use those files for now. I know that show but why can't I say it! Yet from hiwayman's account I'm not sure that I know the right show. :unsure: And you got that right on the violin players. Either that or they were drinking some of those booster drinks. That was enjoyable to read. How you went into your own fun thing. Or I just flat out needed that smile one. Ala, You were so kind to me in your words. But I certainly don't see all that. Thank you nonetheless sweetie. And I loved that one song. The first one in your post that has two right beside each other. JJ is the initials I think you said. That first one had me rocking. Very sweet! Ted, I didn't mean to say that thing about your song to Ala in such an afterthought way. I rather thought it rude upon reading it again. Please forgive me.

Ala, I just tried them all and was unable to play the last two as well. But what mine says is RealPlayer which is the way I'm able to play your other two needs me to install something further. I didn't opt that yet as I wanted to see if perhaps they could be converted as Sudo had to do to play your others. (brb y'all....we're talking in the background)
