I've no idea why but you brought this from Monty Python and the Holy Grail to mind. King Arthur: Old woman. Dennis: Man. King Arthur: Man, sorry. What knight lives in that castle over there? Dennis: I'm 37. King Arthur: What? Dennis: I'm 37. I'm not old. King Arthur: Well I can't just call you "man". Dennis: Well you could say "Dennis". King Arthur: I didn't know you were called Dennis. Dennis: Well you didn't bother to find out did you? King Arthur: I did say sorry about the "old woman", but from behind you looked... Dennis: What I object to is you automatically treat me like an inferior. King Arthur: Well I am king. Dennis: Oh, king eh? Very nice. And how'd you get that, eh? By exploiting the workers. By hanging on to outdated imperialist dogma which perpetuates the economic and social differences in our society.

Oh my but I messed up. I meant the further away I was moving from 50 the worse it was. I'll be 53 next Sunday. That smarts some. :( Black and white rainbows....

It was like going into the deep end of the pool scary but once you got there it was great. Thanks for that Dot!

Y'all are sweet but I was hoping not to have one this year. Well actually I won't be having it until the 19th. Moving toward 50 was somewhat a biggie but moving away from it is much worse. :)

Kit, I worked with a woman that exemplified the walk of goodness to mankind with little to no prejudice. She said she appreciated I saw that quality in her but was uncomfortable when it drew attention. Her life defines humbleness. So if I do the same to you I apologize here and now for what I say about you. I'll repeat the words of Geo without his permission and feeling no threat to him for doing so. Kit has the tenderest heart of anyone on greasespot. And he was right. You introduce simple heart stuff. To some it would be offensive and to some comforting. Thank you for not allowing hesitance to hold back openness. My message is not to you but it gendered direction in my fence riding. So I ask that you forgive my language and the fact your name is here in this thread but this I must do. * * * * * * * * * * * * I know you read here so this is of course for you. Having the stuff that makes up greatness in its own right you always possessed. But you so easily got clouded vision due to respect of man. How well you know this I realize. You became an @sshole of great proportion. What a waste of a perfectly good man. It makes me laugh at remembrance of some movie line (don't recall actors) with one saying from an overpass while looking down and seeing a garbage truck with a man lying amongst now why would someone throw away a perfectly good white man like that? You had it but blew it! And even though there are men that can run circles around you while they amble along...NO @sshole. Not now and never have. Not all men seek to destroy like you did. Get it right for the balance of your life why don't ya!

Always a risk when going to warmer climates during the winter so you best count heads before heading back east. Be safe!

Actually I'm changing my mind. I think I like the version by Clannad and Paul Young best. And to correct myself I'm not sure which I prefer actually Joni Mitchell who wrote the song as well as sang it or Judy Collins version best.

I don't having never been but come back and say bye before you leave town okay.

The words can go a couple places. I love the dang music. Even the sound of the fingers sliding across the guitar strings to the next chord sends chills. Okay I will stop going on about this dang song.
-
I know some of you don't open my links but do this one please cause it's just flat out awesome IMHO. The horns alone are to die for!
-
It's a nice version but I have to admit I like Joni Mitchell's the best. Still this is very nice for a Saturday morning. Thanks.

Yes that was my link for sure. I posted Cowgirl's link the last time to see what the error was when you tried to open it. To me the word presume implied you might have been questioning. But why I would try to think this late after this maxed week I'll never know. :) I think she left the computer after she tried to fix it at 10:32. She'll be back. As for me my eyes no longer want to look at this screen so I trust all will rest well.

Good choice on making both files available and also instructing on save rather than play. This place is cool like that. It's a new world with this option. And I think I mentioned in the other thread how I love that music. And I think wingnut may have been onto something. You sound like such a natural.
-
Cowgirl, click on the link while you're in the account and make sure it plays okay.
-
oops I'm working on your thingee....I saw you had a ? instead of an / and I thought that would fix it but it didn't...hang on.... Although I love his intro so I'm glad it's wrong for a little while. :) HERE Let's see what the error message is then. Cowgirl, go back into your account and make sure that name is exactly as you typed it. It doesn't seem to be able to locate it.
-
Well I guess this would be appropriate here. But it's not the original. HERE

Beautiful! Cowgirl, I'll always cherish my time in Gunnison as far as the landscape went. That brought back memories of traveling there and back. Beautiful doesn't cover it.

I hope we're all saving these pages.

Thanks! That was puzzling me. I like Axel Rose's voice. I just couldn't connect the dots but now they're connected and look something like the big dipper.
-
Does that have something to do with Sea Monkeys? :) Talking about reflections had y'all noticed the one in this resonator?

Interesting SaintGeorge.

Sushi, I was so hoping that would come back up because I can't for the life of me figure out what you're guessing at. Hiwayman, What a way to go. I heard it was dark and the waters were dark so once the blades went down into the water it was hard to see even with flood lights overhead. I guess when the blades hit the water it hit them. I didn't like Rat Patrol but I loved Hogan Hero's even if it was absurd in light of the entire world being able to come up under that bunk yet they never went any distance after going down it. <_<

Raf, Not only is it a form of icing on top of a job I've gotten the impression you loved. But it speaks for your newspaper and that gains icing to other than yourself. You should be proud. Good for you.

Sudo, I think it had something to do with the colt.45 on their hips. :) Nah, it was more the two men SaintGeorge named Sgt. Saunders and Lt. Hanley. As a girl I found them handsome. But they were real kind of people and I could understand things they were going thru. I was actually sad when Vic Morrow was killed in the freak helicopter accident while filming a Twilight Zone movie. I'd heard he was beheaded but I don't know if true. As well the two children he was carrying were killed.
