We were encouraged to do it on our own more than with someone else. That allowed us to privately burn what we thought was chaff. Of course that was after much definition had been supplied as to what chaff was. And yes you were a very bad wayfer you were. Don't you feel bad? Not! Act2, how warmly cool to see you. Is warmly cool anything like that blonde that bought the thermos because she saw it shining in the hardware store window and went in to inquire as to what it was. When told it kept things hot and cold she was thrilled at such a device and purchased it. Taking it in to work the next day she proudly showed off this shinny multi-use find and when asked what she had brought she replied a cup of coffee and some ice cream. I love REO Speedwagon but don't have anything of theirs and wonder why. One of my favorite is I Can't Stop This Feeling. Here is a little bit about them that ties to what I said earlier about live or studio performers. Sudo, I LOVE that song!!!!! Does that make me strange? :blink: <_< I must not be so oh oh oh... :unsure:

You didn't ever burn any really good albums during burn the chaff did you? I got rid of more books I think. This song probably would have moved it to the burn pile according to some of the leadership but I love it and all. :) Cowgirl, those are excellent choices! They are one of those bands like Dire Straits that sound excellent in concert. Some artists only sound good in a studio. :) (edit because of the usual :blink: reason)

And Hotel California will forever be a kickbutt piece of music IMHO.

Cowgirl, I love both Don Henley and Bruce Hornsby (especially Hornsby's piano) in their versions of the song but this one is quite lovely as well. They are all very good in their own way. Thank you for bringing the first especially as I'd never heard it before. And I have to agree with Rick on Bonnie Raitt, she just makes you smile inside when she plays. SaintGeorge, the explanation I would have given had I been here would have been the same as Rick in regard to what a man would do. Literal on that puppy will fall flat. :) Rick, yeah right! I am sad :( one of the things my son got me for my birthday was Clapton's new CD Back Home. Known I'm certain is my love of Clapton. This CD SUCKS!!!!! Oh well life goes on.

Speaking of moving on I do have a song not named but I brought it here for fun so if you didn't listen or don't know who it was it's also Dire Straits and it's called Calling on Elvis as if that were a secret. And this just seems like a Sunday morning song. WAV

Rick, I told hubby about your new toys and he asked if we should start setting an extra place for dinner. :) But that Fender® Blues Amp is even pretty to look at man. And you playing Tin Pan Alley well all I can say and hopefully not embarrass you too much is how kewl for me that we're friends and I get to hear your efforts.

Whether they accept it or not those who filled their innocent children's minds with evil translations of their holy book and who on their own would do such cruel things as stand by when their young daughters are being mutilated are as much to blame as their sicko leaders! They continue the lie and to reap damnation. They did it to themselves! And if we're all they say we are then why do they sell their souls to move here? That will continue to be a bite in my foot!

Sudo, I want someone else to guess it because I think I know it but I'm not quite sure. (Top, I know what you mean, been there before myself) You should share your stories from your trip like you mentioned. You're like the cool version of home movies. :) It's lousy weather. Storm brewing again even though earlier it went away it seems to have found its way back. So I can't see anything but clouds. :( I feel lazy or I'd burn a neat song and link it but no lie I just don't feel like it, ever have one of those Friday nights.

Their biscuits are incredible. And when I say I get a chicken breast well I'm really getting a breast and a biscuit. I never tire of them. :)

They fibbed :( it's raining and windy and a storm is brewing. Man I am hooked on chicken I guess cause I still went out in it to get a dadgum breast at Popeyes. Devoted or nuts one I reckon. :blink:

It is indeed but it relates directly to the Hollywood studio if my guess on the studio is correct. Three day weekends, oh my goodness, I would be thrilled with that. :)

CARROT CAKE was my choice but I don't care for sweets actually. If I had a choice between this and a hamburger I'd take the hamburger. Wonder what the head doctor would think of me then. :)
