  1. The loss of his son was sad, the other isn't really mine to accuse him of IMHO. But I imagine should it be true or not it causes great stress for his home and might impact his opinion on things that he's gotten a bit more serious about. But I do enjoy him and did read a book he wrote several years ago about his early days. That's wild that you pass that area his son was killed at. :(
  2. I wonder if the murder of his son on the roadside while changing a tire (if memory is correct) and then later that woman that claimed to be his daughter may have contributed some to his change.
  3. Again, I may have already done this one. But I enjoyed the interaction of the two main actors, one of which can make a statue smile. HERE
  4. Yup, you both know the show. Family Affair. And I loved Mrs. Beasley hiwayman. :)
  5. I may have done this one before but I loved this show. And one of the stars wasn't a living thing. Or at least I thought she was one of the stars. HERE
  6. omg...it really is James younger brother. Wow! They sound so alike. I've never heard him before. I've heard James and Carly's son sing and he has a wonderful voice. That was a double treat. You don't have to really do one in the morning. Thank you for this one, it was quite enjoyable.
  7. I've always loved this song. Is that James Taylor singing with her? This is beautiful! Dare I ask for more. :)
  8. That is wonderful. I love that one. Sushi, I think your sweetie has converted me. More please. :)
  9. Sudo, I LOVE this movie. :) XXX: We can't do that! YYY: How do you know? You never tried it. XXX: Well, yeah, but I never tried shooting myself in the head neither.
  10. If it's your last post it will be our loss.
  11. Belle, We are in agreement. And thank you for taking the time to work this out. ((you)) Outintexas, My words sounded harsh and I didn't mean them to be.
  12. Then maybe we outta redefine the phrase because if we aren't willing to get over it with it being that which holds us back then it'll be one rough road we chose.
  13. Thank you sweet Belle, and I was speaking of myself because I had said that recently. And I see the difference in what you're saying sure. Again thank you for that. But yes I was referring to those whom cannot seem to move forward in their thinking. And I know we all hang out in our comfort zones at times, even if those zones are h3llish ones. But those who just will not move forward, yes I would agree with you on that as well.
  14. We haven't the mechanism of automatic thinking set up so we deal with it and move on. The depth of damage done can be incredible for us. We may be doing all we can just to make it thru the next day I experientially realize. So we have to recognize all of us dealing with our personal h3lls are some altered in our verbiage and understanding. When I state things in a forum I've no business being in I do so because it is things that affects us here so that we can affect them out there. And gawd forbid someone takes my words as superior or arrogant in any way then you must not know me. And on that I will demand that due respect here and now. So trash me if you must but if you think your words are not going to be read and you be held accountable for them then you need to....yes....go ahead and say it! Some can't post because they don't have the means to give it when dealing with it personally and even those of us who post deal with the reality of that. Yet our words as we grow and figure it out together are the stuff our deliverances are made of. This is what I am saying should I not make sense.
  15. Sudo, I've not heard of that movie. Thanks for the info. And again I love how you give us those bites. I could start watching movies again just to play if I let myself go, which I'm not. I do enjoy Sean Astin's acting and just recently saw that part of the movie where he really shone as the true friend in his protection and care of his companion on the road to danger. And I agree with what you said to Sushi about her music. She is delightful is she not! (sidenote: I didn't like one of the three so I do have some limits to my input)
  16. Recently I said we need to flat our get over it and it was meant as my way of saying you can't just say it didn't happen because you don't like the answer. We can have all the real life experiences in the world of horror but if we refuse truth because we don't like how it fits into our understanding or personal experiences we need to consider how that affects not only how others heal up but especially how WE heal up.
  17. Sushi, I know it's for Sudo but I LOVE this was one also. (edits...too bad they can't make me get it right the first time... ...)
  18. I like that one Sushi. :) Okay more please.
  19. Sudo, I don't recognize it but I think I want the soundtrack if there is one. It's beautiful music! And yes that is the movie I thought it was, and I will do just that, pick a copy up and watch it soon. Abi, I really liked the first one but I'm sorry but I don't like the cold pizza one. :( Do you have more like the first one? :)
  20. I believe it's an angel or perhaps it was to be God sending them out of the garden. And while I'm here I don't believe for a second that LCM is a homosexual. FWIW
