I read that as one context. I told her in post I would give her that she was not speaking women who had truly been abused. And after all that everyone has eloquently spoken I still read it in the same context. The first sentence speaks of her stand right off the bat should there be any confusion to follow. The second sentence speaks a truth that she feels about him and then she gave us an example of why in her third sentence where she speaks of the willing partners. She could have in the beginning of her forth sentence made sure it was tied to the subject willing partners she spoke of in her third sentence and thus caused herself and all of us a lot less words spoken regarding it. She ties the willing partners again in this last sentence by referring to ones that would call rape who wanted more. I saw it the first time and continue to see it now as the same subject matter spoken of all throughout and it was willing partners. I've seen nothing of sogwap to make me think she would be the type to belittle the ones abused. I think she meant to bring a truth here. And after such a humble post of someone's I hate to sound contradictory but I feel that we can't dismiss there were willing partners. If we can't acknowledge it because we feel it demeans the ones abused then it binds up the experience we can have and thus deliverance as well. I don't really get it but I've tried to hate someone. I mean dug in my feet gave it all I had and that was bountiful I might add. But I just fooled myself and made it all the worse on me. I have to give the benefit there could be change in a person. It's part of how I think. I don't see the need to change it. When we think there was always and will forever remain nothing but evil in a person it might help get through the angry periods we all go through but in time it'll start eating at your gut I suspect. Unless there really are people that can claim 100% they got 0 out of twi. And then I'd have to disagree. Because they got us here and I'd call that something. So it can't be 0 out of twi IMHO.

Sudo, That is a hoot. Can you believe I even watched that now and then. There was something about the anticipated corny that had its moments. :)

This is cute as it can be. I love it. I bet before it's all over I'll like that one I didn't like in the beginning. But I had some in and out and throughout the ending. Did anyone else hear that? I remember carrying nail polish in my purse, not for nails but for runs. (oops) That was to Sushi.

hiwayman, I'm not familiar with the spin off but does women drivers ring a bell to ya? And agreed on that link of mine.

You're welcome and good morning to you. :)

This one will be easily recognized if you watched it. I enjoyed the show but can't recall many details now. HERE

Abi, the original post is still here, I just read it but can't locate it again. Sorry.

Excellent points! And I guess it obvious I got her intent at start and was not offended by her. (the last comment of hers is not in this text) She brought to the board something that needed to be whether we liked the message or not. To blame her for why other women were abused was cruel.

Thank you Sir. I never want to become what I left. This was very gracious of you.

I understood what you meant when you said it. I've also spoken of this. You could have included some in this group if you wanted to sweep the offenders.

And we're the richer for it. :) I can't imagine life without it. Rather scary a thought is it not. You give that beauty of a wife of yours my love, and tell her she said something once when I was a newbie some leader said something stern to me. She reached out to me while discreetly correcting the person who'd spoken to me. I was impressed by her and it was one of the first times we'd been together. But would you believe that was probably 22 years ago. You know another thing I really liked about her. When we were doing our business she just left us alone. She was gracious and knew I wasn't there to visit at that time and she just gave us time like it was her privilege to do. Don't ask me why these memories have decided to come back but they have and I wanted to relay them to you so you could to her for me please.

Sudo, I would think that you young men would have liked the drivers in that one. And fartknockers are actually little youngins running around. (well my version that is) Abi, Yup The Wonder Years it was and it looks like everyone knew that one. ~*~*~* I love this song and it's just dadgum cute. Hope y'all enjoy. HERE

Paw, I have a greater appreciation for the board now that I know you better. And how it came about and what you saw and fit together to make this place a vital part of peoples deliverance. The history you shared was very interesting. Self-indulgent was a good description where you used it of the dancer. Thank you for how open and honest you were. And somehow I missed this until now. Raf, Nice to hear a voice for your words and face and of course you did a great job.

I swear sometimes I wonder about myself. I was just walking with the bosses as we discussed points from the meeting we'd just been in and as we go thru the store we're attached to I accidentally knocked off a couple garments and was busy putting them back up while my companions continued to walk ahead discussing with me these points. When they noticed I'd not replied they stopped and looked back to find me hanging cloths back up. As I looked towards them and quickly finished my task they just smiled at me with that look I seem to get now and then. I guess it must be me.

I agree, it was better when they were little fartknockers.

Rats! I hate the top of the page, I know even Abi tried to take it once to give me a break. I don't want to work yet I've much to do and a meeting to prepare for. Don't it bite the big one when you have wanderlust or whatever that word is when you should be working. :)

I understand the far beyond  and I also enjoyed him in Gunsmoke. We have one other that posts here that enjoyed that show as well I know. Did you ever watch that show I last linked then? Good days to all till again we meet.
-
Yes you know it as well as Sudo. The show was McCloud with Dennis Weaver. And sure, all men read the articles you know. Well since y'all seem to be getting mine I'll do another. This one isn't real old but some of you are the age you might have watched it as a teenager. There was a cute little girl in it that later had a role on West Wing. HERE

This is what we have in common. We both studied under this person. Well he was dead but it was his work. A Hindi named Paramahansa Yogananda. I know, I know.
-
Yes it's him. Did you ever see that movie where he was driving and some truck was trying to kill him? I loved him in westerns. And there's still something I have in common with him.
-
I enjoyed this actor. We've spoken of him here before. He and I had something in common that was unusual but I can't seem to recall what it was now. HERE

You mean you men can't read our minds! Absolutely delightful! More please. :)
