David, Oh yeah it was alien not martian.
-
Oh my, but this is precious and oh so sad.

Paw, What a treat to hear more of your heart and the background of this cafe. The details about John and Harve were interesting and your comment about the martian was too fun! How true you were on the number of folks that hauled butt to hear the voice on the other side representing GreaseSpot Cafe. I think I appreciated the moderators before but I certainly do more now. Thank you to all heartfelt. Your thoughts on Mike (pfal) were worth the listen alone. I know I've thanked you openly as well as made you crazy in the background when I first came but thank you for making a way so I could come here and meet some of the most important people in my life. I can't imagine life now without this place having come into it. And it was Hope most of all that I called when I'd panicked after posting something all eyes could see. She encouraged me and upon my return I would find others who seemed to care for me as well. You may have heard me speak in chat... oh speaking of which I bet that place is loaded tonight... ...but I use to come to this site in darkened room with curtain drawn in complete fear I would be found out. Thank gawd to be past that. This place of yours sure did help that come about. Kathy

I've used broken for so long I don't recall which came first twi or it. And recently I used the word damage when speaking to excath. But in both of those cases it means something done to a person that is not what the body and soul was desgined to partake of. And it alters the person, thus in my vocabulary it breaks or damages the person. Funny that this comes up because that sentence also had caught my attention and I'm not sure I fully understood the intent. But then I didn't ask either. <_< Another great thread Abi! And just in case someone wants to hear the song she's referring to I borrowed this from Nostalgia. HERE!

I know, I know....but heck I voted for him so I reckon I can talk.

Good description! I enjoyed for the two characters alone. They had great chemistry together.

Sudo thanks for requesting those and Sushi thanks for posting them. So what did y'all think of Madonna's version of that first one? This one may have been done before but I enjoyed it because it was out of the ordinary. HERE

Roy, You really are a treat. I'm not sure I've met anyone like you before. You reply with love regardless the words directed at you. I loved what others said here so will tag along with them. And your line to Invisible Dan was so funny I spit my coffee out. (((YOU))) Kathy

I don't get this html thingee. Why when I turn it on so it makes your posts look right it makes mine do funny things. Like combine two lines in one.
-
I swear I bet if you had them you'd play them wouldn't you? :biglaugh:And yup to your comment about Geo being around! :)

Thank you Abi, your words were actually healing, as horrible as they were at times. Because you're right, it is a highly known thing and certainly would gender such reactions. You have such gentleness and care. You've shown it here and you have to me in private even more tenderly because it is personal. Amazing how someone with such a story could end up being so wonderful.
-
Geo, Um, thanks. I should have known I bet. :) Sudo, LMAO!
-
Sushi, Thanks. :) So does anyone know what that song is about? I don't. But I love it. Geo

Abi, Yes, I had read her before and thus had no reason to consider she would be trashing folks that already hurt. And since I saw it differently all along I never had any of those thoughts that obviously others including yourself had. But yes, I can agree her wording (like mine) if you read that sentence could have enraged. And that is in part because we have had those who would attempt to pour salt into open wounds with their words. But she never was doing that to me so I can't appreciate fully what others here obviously did.

ha ha ha ha I swear I've been serious in the way forum (gawd forbid...what is up with me!) and then I came here and I could actually hear your voice saying....uh sudo man, you think maybe....hmmm perhaps....it could have been your area....ha ha ha ha ha
