  1. Yup, now come around that screen hiwayman and see your date while we play the Dating Game theme. :) I always wondered if the woman or man asking the questions had someone in the audience sticking their fingers up to clue them which to pick on looks alone. And sometimes their look of disappointment was so obvious you felt bad for the chosen one.
  2. Mrs. Ferrell, You would have done what this theme is about before you did what Sudo's theme is about. HERE
  3. Excellent choice! :) Um, well it's the other three that establishes This three completes it

  5. :P I've been meaning to say something about your tag line but I'll let David say it instead.
  6. Well you bumped us up for a moment so I'm glad you want whatever it is you want from Sudo. :)
  7. Are you serious? But without even looking again let me ask were they standing next to each other in the back row do you remember? Chas, please let me know if any of my links are hard to open because it could be my problem okeedokee.
  8. Always a joy to see you here. And thank you for the tip, I'll have to attend to that. :)
  9. I agree CW. Only sadness that we don't have her delightful way of making us smile is what I'm feeling on this important date.
  10. Okay, I see Pete Townshend and Ron Wood. I looked it up for the balance of the guys but thought I'd recognized Grech. The remainder is Ric Grech, Rebop Kawaku Baah and Jimmy Karstein. They were having fun. And this is the slow version of this song that I love. Sudo, do listen to this version please. HERE
  11. Okeedokee...I'll look tonight again. :) Have a good day y'all.
  12. Words fail me now. I've such joy from your union.
  13. Be still my heart Eric Clapton, Charlie Watts, Steve Winwood, I think Jim Capaldi. I'm working on recognizing more but those right off the bat. I love this version of Layla but love MORE his slow version which I'll post tonight (the audio not video). I love this song but then you knew that I reckon. Sushi, I love her voice but don't care for her singing that song. Sorry.
  14. I think I'll start going to Geo for confession now. Speaking of which that comment.....ha ha ha ha. What are you trying to say, what you did say caught me off guard. (I liked that Raf) I've made the comment Oak said many times. A person will define themselves and thus reap the rewards or the crap that will follow. Why do we hound people who will not change their minds....because it's fun! (I can see this one being repeated) Interesting about people's forms of communication and I think Sudo's voice is delightful. Wordsmiths have power! New tag line perhaps? I will say this please. As this was playing hubby walked thru and I hollered to him above the voices that is Geo or that is Sudo and on....it was very kewl! Everyone at greasespot is a product of the way. There is something in all of us that we are all alike in that way. (I love this Raf!) I love that it was discussed about not flaming someone over their saying they received positive things. And the definition between it being someone saying it in our face and someone added it because it was part of their journey to wellness in some way. Sudo being cut off at the punch line....ha ha ha ha
  15. Hope you add to it on your special day. Happy Birthday! (ps...I know this is Johnny and you use Jonny)
  16. Thank you Sudo, that was very enjoyable. I especially loved Clapton and Harrison dueling with guitars. I enjoy the guitarists facial expressions and body language and Clapton is wonderful to watch (I'm not prejudiced am I). When he and Harrison were playing their guitars you could almost see how they were like extensions of themselves. This concert was in 1987 and also included Jeff Lynne on bass guitar (of Electric Light Orchestra), Phil Collins also on drums (of Genesis) as well as a pianist named Jools Holland. And Sudo, let her enjoy it dad. Soon she'll be in grown up land and won't have the luxury of it anymore.
  17. I've never seen the movie, nor do I know much of the KKK other than what you learn going thru life. My personal experience regarding the clan is limited to my having gone down the wrong country road outside Tampa Bay. Where I abruptly stopped and proceeded to move as quickly in reverse as I had forward. Before me was a burning cross and pointed headed figures all around. And I was pretty sure it wasnt a conehead convention. In respect to a movie having overblown an aspect (regardless the paramount or insignificance) I've seen that in other areas of life as well in a movie and came out thankful for the experience of seeing it because of some other aspect that was revealing. It doesn't make the racism right or less but life doesn't have pretty boundaries where we don't have exposure to all sorts of goods and bads. And we can learn from it all. End of sermon. I felt the same way about Monty Python. Some I totally got and enjoyed and some I just had to give it over to British understanding.
  18. Okay Sudo, I agree it's Lillian Gish and I think the male singer is Robert Mitchum.
  19. And now for something.....HERE.....:)
  20. I've heard my son say things like that about the area also. I enojy enjoy TCM myself. Even though I think I'm wrong on the star and movie (of Sudo's).
