  1. I'm so proud of you, as you know, but I wanted to mention it here as well. Interesing number also.

Socks, you jumping dude you! I looked at your link (nice name :) in light of the product btw) and these jumped out at me. And all I can say is I'm glad Rick wasn't talking about this device the other night also. I told him to stop saying Big Muff Pi.
  3. Cowgirl, She has one of those voices that you think is beautiful whether you like the style or not I suspect. I've always enjoyed her music. She has some tender songs. Sudo, It truly is a delightful song. And I loved those old black and whites with the couples dancing. And what about those spectacular water dancing movies. But I'm peculiar about those movies because too much singing in some movies has made me turn it off and others I love. Hiwayman, I knew a guy that had this little dog with those bouncing heads that are held on by a swirled wire in his car. And inside the body of the dog was always full of joints. No one would think to pull the head off and look he figured. We did an occasional lunch break in the back part of the parking lot. I still have no idea how I avoided being busted sometimes. Chas, It was nice wasn't it. TOTW, Have I said hello to you in here yet? :)
  4. I've purchased soundtracks for the same reason. I just loved the music regardless of the show actually. I suspect I'd agree with you on Colin Hay's version. (btw...I love Men at Work)
  5. Sushi, I'm not much for TV but I'll look for that. I loved Mash. The song, was it then a group think or was it suited to one actor? Or was it just a song that worked for the show? Sudo, I've heard of the movie that came from and it sounded pretty spectacular, but I don't believe I've seen it or I'd remember. Did you record that from a movie you were watching? If I don't reply it was because I headed off.
  6. He's really nice to look at when he's playing ain't he? :) Yummy picture. Sushi, I like that although for the first half minute or so I wasn't too sure but the more it went on the more I realized I was enjoying it. :) Is Scrubs a movie I've missed? I'll be away for awhile if y'all come back.
  7. ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
  8. Chas, for you and I. Okay fantasy over, everyone back to work now. :)
  9. I honestly don't know how to talk about it but it was full of very sensual moves and I'm not talking about the female. Although one male is plenty so it really is overkill. <_< She made a few dollars off that body I reckon. Wouldn't be my choice. Nor would I fight for her honor of not being degraded, she liked the stuff. (but then I'm not one to cry that she screws up all of womankind due it either) And I actually have to follow suit with Rodney Dangerfield in Back to School when his professor (Sam Kinison) did his screaming thing and Dangerfield said I like this guy. :) Joe Perry was looking especially hot though.
  10. I swear I could say two or three things about the thing and I'd seen it before. But I just don't know how to say it delicately.
  11. Where to begin? :) I can't say half of what I'd like as I don't think we're rated for it. Did Abi see that before you posted it? I need to run out so I'll use that as my excuse not to go on.
  12. TOO KEWL! You too Cowgirl. :)
  13. Actually if you're speaking to me I've not read that thread. But while I'm here my point is not that ones pick on but that all is allowed a voice. That is for all to read whether a part of the radio conversations or not. I believe all should be allowed the same ear as the other. If the speaker is out to lunch then the reader will recognize it no doubt.
  14. I love this version!!!!! SaintGeorge, Indeed you know the clip and it was The Mother-in-Laws with Eve Arden and Kaye Ballard that ran in the late 60's. I watched it but recall thinking they were the most abrasive women. I'm impressed with your posting a link also!
  15. This has something to do with mothers. Although some may not like the choice they have of this type mother. HERE
  16. Interesting chat guys and even if I don't agree with all that was said I love that we have the freedom to speak it. And that we allow others to speak their minds as well, even if not what we may personally believe. And I must add here a note to Rosie while she listens. You seem to evade some of the major blame around this board. And understandably so because most folks don't know how much was YOU behind the scenes making sure that VP and Craig got the limelight and all the kudos or blame one for it. You're a piece of work Rosie. But some of us know your evil ways and I don't mean the funky sexy kind Jimi Hendrix sang of either. But guess what Rosie dear.....God knows and that's who counts. I do hope you prepare yourself.
  17. Your name suda means fortress or stronghold. And I suspect it's well placed and felt by both Sudo and your children. On this special day of Mothers as well as your birthday I hope you have the best of days! Thank you for your honesty even if you know some may poo-poo it. I love your courage to speak up anyway. Good for you!!!!!
  18. Did a president acquire a nick name because of this movie? Raf, it's great to see you here and that woman has a lovely voice. My zaps from the man in the hat picture was from a movie that came to mind when reading you two guys exchange, anyone recognize it?
  19. I agree. I don't need his apology for me anymore. (Excellent points besides the ones I've noted also....good thread!)
  20. BRAVO! Perfectly spoken I might add.
  21. I never watched Love Connection and can't recall why. I don't watch much television and partially because what seems to be entertainment offends the heck out of me to be frank. I had stopped before reality TV but had I not that would have done it. Some things I'm so thankful to be 53 for. Because in the era I grew up I still had some harmless entertainment whereas today there seems to be a contest on who can be the most disgusting inwardly due to stupid actions outwardly being feed as proper image building. Like I said had I not stopped TV already realty would have had me sell the box.
