  1. The scene where the man is down to a torso can be only enjoyed fully with a few or else I'd fear folks would find me  as I laugh till I cry. He just keeps on with his determination he's going to whip the guy without the means of doing so. Such muster he has. :)

SRV  Don't it just ache ya to think of what might have been had he not died! :( I have some favorites of his, I've posted here once or twice I think so won't bring more but he is so fine!
  3. Monty Python and the Holy Grail :) Sudo, some of their stuff makes me hurt from laughing and some just flys way over my head. But it's just a flesh wound totally cracks me up.
  4. I could see that halo shining in my eyes all way into my office. Yup, I trust you strange one, without question!
  5. Am I being presumptuous to think that includes a ChattyKathy doll? hoorah :)
  6. Most of us here know at least one other poster in real life, due in part to your faithfulness to meet each other on planned events. I knew a number of you in real life before I discovered GSC. And have met between half a dozen and a dozen since joining the board. Even the ones I knew for 22 years or so still surprise me with directions and understandings they have as we all grow away from entrapment. I can trust my gut to some degree. And I have tread where I knew not to do so more than once and just agreed with myself to risk it regardless. But I have found in this cyber world of voices a trust that can't be quite explained. I'll try to give more but that's all I really have on that right now. I think you all hit on great points. And for me I feel a person will define themselves in time. Some (myself included) will make you love and hate them at moments perhaps. But then ain't any of us here had a dang easy ride in life or we wouldn't find such solace in each other would we.

Act2, let me know when you list it so I can watch it please. :) I'd love to know a little about the buyer if you will. David, I found that price range in my search as well. Socks, here is some tuning specs on one of my favorites. Does anyone know who it is?
  8. I don't know if I'll ever get to the point of doing movie clips like you do but hopefully I can keep finding other ways of bringing some of the old. :) That was what I read when I cheated, uh huh!
  9. Hiwayman, I was wrong. I googled it and it's not what I thought it was. <_<
  10. LMAO! I have tried to stay away from this thread today but when I saw that innocent post amongst the conversation that did it.
  11. Oh poop! I have read that answer in my travels before but can't recall it. And must be on my way also. Wonderful day to all please!
  12. ha ha ha ha ha ha I was having a bit of fun.
  13. This one will be real easy I bet. HERE hahahahahahahahahaha Well I told you it would be easy!
  14. Yup, that is tied to Captain Midnight.
  15. All three of you guys are right. Even if you are all just little pups in age. :) Now everyone go to sleep, surely it must be after midnight.

Tuning is a whole nother world one from another. Like how Stevie Ray Vaughan tuned and others of course but just that ability to make the sounds you can from that function on a guitar. What an instrument that puppy is!
  17. I think that was a good guess but nope not that one. Here is a little bit more about it and it actually includes the initials of what the Australians called this character which we adopted as well. The first program to include audience participation through the use of the famous "Secret Decoder Ring" which allowed the after school TV viewer to decode J J secret orders. And about that book we were talking about. I meant to rent that movie but ran out of time this weekend. Okay I'm joking, I was going to look for the cliff notes on line.
  18. This one is really older than we are around here so I better give a good clue: Blank was recruited to head the Secret Squadron, an aviation-oriented paramilitary organization fighting sabotage and espionage during the period prior to the United States' entry into World War II. The Secret Squadron acted both within and outside the United States.
  19. Um, I never watched it so I'll have to go read to see.

I must have some of his work! :) I'm so glad you enjoyed those songs. I grew up around that music and loved it as a child then fought it for years as a teen and young adult. But then came to my senses and realized I loved it as an adult. The soundtrack for O Brother Where Art Thou re-popularized it some also I think. I've heard a couple people say they never appreciated the music before watching that movie. And I don't think it had the consequences of when Dalmatian dogs became the designer dog and too many were bred and the terrible thing that caused. That second song about the boy that wouldn't hoe corn is beautiful even in its sadness. Oh btw, those were awesome pictures you provided on your thread about the motorcycles. Real sweet!!!!!
  23. And on a lighter note: I never watched but maybe y'all did
