  1. That was the name of the show? No longer confused. :P And that is a tongue should you not realize you are being razzed. <_<
  2. You should read it in the original, it will scare you big time.
  3. Yes, I see MTM in downtown somewhere in the NE area throwing up a hat. But for the life of me can't think of the name.
  4. I'm having a brain fart. I know it and can't remember. I want to say it's related to a cat in the closing. But I can't think of the series.
  5. Abi, I think your journey is very interesting. And neat for you that you have that thirst. Isn't it interesting some of the differences and how one can be more comfortable. That's such a personal thing isn't it. Yeah, a real heart thing for certain. Thanks for all the stuff you bring us.
  6. Abi, real quick in case you're around. I never thought you were saying anything about godess worship in the stuff you were sharing. I was referring to Lilth and how twi got into her and all that stuff. Now I'll read again and have the mind to take in. :)
  7. SaintGeorge, Funny about Ella and the lyrics. :) Sudo, I don't like it. :( <_<
  8. SaintGeorge, I can't think of that song without thinking of someone else that did it. Best ever done, but you'll not find it on a record anywhere. Thank you for that version, quite a great one there.
  9. I see some good stuff has been added but I have no time now. But I wanted to say thanks Galen and I liked your response. :)
  10. Galen, I've always thought it an agreement to be submissive to the male as the head of the house. And I have believed in it to the end of personal harm to myself. I still feel the male's words are important and I'd not consider making important decisions that affect us without covering it with him, so I retain some of that submission by agreement. But the way of lording over that was encouraged in twi is crapola. No matter what we all think the bible states on it I now believe without a shadow of a doubt I am not to walk a pace behind any human being. And I suspect your Bonnie has agreed in her own heart and mind to allow you the privilege of that role you hold in your marriage. I also suspect she's an incredible lady to have the personal balance to be at peace doing so. I'd not criticize her for a second. In fact for some time in my 35 year marriage I was at great rest inwardly allowing him to row the boat we were in. T-Bone, I love your last post! Abi, I had wondered the tie to new age Kabbalah stuff and your faith. And twi did a huge thing on this topic a few years back. I have magazines with articles on it btw. Pawnbroker, It was nice seeing you again. I hope you have been well. Seems a lifetime ago when you finished a clue of mine about Evita in Nostalgia. Abi, That was on godess worship, I should have been more clear.

Socks, wow! It seems we all three went similar places yet I love the perspective of the window gazing. And that cat on the couch, gosh I love your version of the significance of it T-Bone. Seems whatever direction you go it will have some bittersweet in it. Can't wait!!!!!
  12. Sudo,I crashed while the sun was still up last night, totally not me. And I didn't even peek in here during the night when I awoke. That California dreamer nailed it best I could tell ya. And BEAUTIFUL it is. I love this version. What a voice she had, geez. And then he is just legendary (well she is too I reckon). Thank you! A quality piece there my friend.
  13. How do you take this horrible heat? I swear y'all can't be anymore humid and hot than us. Okay, you win. :)
  14. I don't try. <_< But let me ask you beings that you won't put a hair dryer to your hair and you will not go out with it wet, what if you were to have it braded how long would this thing take? And in light of all that you would put a rubber band on your hair. Have you not heard anything being said regarding rubber bands dude! Look at the pictures and see that thing the high pony tale has and buy some. :)

Actually I have the story in my head but hadn't thought of any other lines. The story was from his perspective. As he stood in the rain waiting to see her coming down the sidewalk he started to remember, first the smell of her hair then the memories progressed to things that caused them not to be together in the first place, some his and some her makings. As he did he began to shift in place and the rain which once was delightful as it fell began to irate him and he realized he didn't want to be waiting on the sidewalk anymore for her. Just as he started to turn to leave he saw her in the distance approaching him. He turned his back and continued to go. It's not a happy ending, just life. That was the seriousness I picked up amongst the lightness of the sweet memories as the story began. But you might not want such a piece. You're too upbeat to end a song like that I suspect. :)
  16. Well keep in mind the one that said it ain't exactly fixed. :)
  17. MINEYOURS And stop using rubber bands!!!!!
  18. I should have spoken with you earlier, I've been wearing it as high as I could off and on since I started here.
  19. Long hair is nice but dang right now it's in a pony tail as high off my shoulders as possible. :) Okay, back to work, I was just farting around for a minute.
  20. No way! I didn't recognize her at all. I know exactly who you are talking about, I have some of her work. Is it hot enough here in Ohio. Egad!
  21. This is an explosive subject, even if what is felt inside is absence (or emptiness if you prefer). It musters memories, flashbacks and such a mired of control issues one might go insane before first touching the keys. This forum has and has had first hand accounts of the ways of 'the way'. I understood Eagles intent I thought so was not of the same read as some where. But I also have seen this happen regularly so doubtful anyone was surprised by it. I'm thankful no one asked me to relay 'hell's bounds' in this thread. I'm proud of excath because I think more needed to be said. I think it will free her. I speak from where? MY OPINION! But I speak what my heart feels. We know each other, we know the signs, and we know the forgiveness given afterwards. Strangers don't. I think it is for them that we try to maintain some balance. Not perfection, after all why are we here to begin with. Because we need or just feel attached in a way that wouldn't consider wandering off. Whatever, we are here being faithful to each other (for the greater part) to learn and grow. The details that bring it on should be considered and engaged in perhaps, for me many a time I got clear vision on a matter by way of someone's words here.
