  1. Dang, I saw a picture of Rose-a-lie on the main index and nearly tossed my cookies, someone tell Paw to put John back there please, he was nice to look at. :) Sudo, You know it, yup! And I was a little fart but I was around when that cartoon played. I actually did watch this one. :)
  2. Do you miss our old neck of the woods? I do some. Chi-Town will remain beautiful in my mind. But I don't miss some of it. To move to this area was the right choice without question. Now I'll stop de-railing..........
  3. I can't help at all, just wanted to say hi likeaneagle and to say I couldn't live without Excel. :)
  4. Another Saturday morning type link: cartoon theme
  5. The piece is too wonderful for words Sudo.
  6. This hat's for you. Happy Birthday sweet girl. Hope it's wonderful!
  7. Yup, hiwayman you guessed it. And you're welcome.
  8. Sudo, I think I have seen it but I didn't watch it. :) And agree hiwayman will probably know it. I swear I asked them to try and block my phone so I can't dial 911. But this time the police didn't come. The receptionist called me to see if I called them. I seem to be building a reputation for this.
  9. I've possibly never seen this but it's kinda fun in its own way. cartoon theme
  10. I imagine things are some different now but I adore you both and thank you for the support when I first came here. It was Hope who got me here and helped me not run away a few times. Godspeed all things good to you and the girls.
  11. The tune is familiar but I can't place it myself. Lovely though Sudo.

OMG! That CD is one of my all time favorite of Clapton's. Excellent!!!!!
  13. Having changed my views on abortion this is a tough one. But seems both aim to save life, and I'm for that. Except in the case of the 16 year old he was seeking medical treatment so it wasn't like he was trying to kill himself. I really don't know quite what I think except it does bother me having man have such control over us.
  14. I do thank you for taking the top of the page. It bugs me for some reason. :( :) I think there is common sense to that approach. You're not talking doomsday. Or negative for negative's sake. Just real life that happens every day. I love blues for that reason. I am totally comforted by it for that reason. (I know I said that before but it says it I reckon) We have so much to be thankful for here, so very much.
  15. I knew I posted too quickly. <_< As to a 16 year old being able to decide about such things, I agree with you both which is impossible. But ultimately I believe there has to be an age retained that protects the child of 16 who is not mature enough to make such calls. But if his parents support him as they do I assume they have weighed the costs themselves and being his legal guardians should be allowed some rights. Yet I didn't agree with Christian Scientists at times and even wondered about a woman I knew that allowed herself to die rather than get a blood transfusion because of her faith. We haven't perfected a cure for cancer, people die everyday. There should be some room allowed these parents. But I wouldn't allow a 16 year old to make it solely as the rule. That would be dangerous, how many of us have had 16 year olds?
  16. You caught me short of time but this one really caught my eye. Dang. As y'all know my sister died of cancer way too young. Before they did the chemo and radiation on her she was in the care of my mother who had her on green tea and natural things that were to rebuild the body’s deficiencies. Not unlike the types of things Grace Bliss believed in (and worked). But the results were not quick enough and she was rapidly falling to the disease and so it was agreed by her and her husband that she undergo the treatments. But there was great pressure on her to do it, from friends and family. She underwent it all and still died. The alternative might not have been able to do it had she been able to stay on that, but she never got the opportunity. Folks can make up their own minds on such things, if found to be sound people of course. I probably have more to say but I have to go, I really shouldn't have posted so quickly perhaps. But this one got my stomach.
  17. Interesting how that happens with an artist you like, where you don't like it all. Happens to me all the time. I can't stand a couple of Mark Knopfler's things. hahaha I liked that, I may have to get that CD. :) It works for me because of it being real life. Sometimes the best comfort I get is knowing stuff just happens in real life.
  18. Sushi, I won't be able to reply possibly but is that Tom Waits? And if so you like him a lot don't you? He has loads of albums I see (I looked). His voice changes some, for a second I thought of Louis Armstrong then Joe Cocker and that was just quickly moving thru.
