coolchef, Bless your heart for your family choosing the military. I have 4 nephews serving of which 2 have spent 2 years each and the 3rd is there now in his 1st. Although there seems to be something going on with his assignment that can't be spoken of. I just know the kid. When his mom died when he was a little guy and he'd had a couple of years with her gone then his uncle (my brother) died suddenly and he'd been the one to go in and take over for my sister when she was bed ridden. He gave up his job to become an in-home provider so my brother-in-law could work. So this uncle was a bit more to my nephews than just an uncle. Well after all this heart ripping exposure he said to me one day "Aunt Kathy, it seems the world looks different when you've been in the shoes". I was stunned at his understanding. But then to brag a little bit. I believe it was the summer after his mom had died the school system hired him for the summer to teach the faculty new computer software. He is a brilliant young man, as is his brother who is in higher levels of communication. Boy I got off track a bit didn't I! I think when our young men and women choose to serve in a time where their own country is divided (and rightfully so) well when they then serve it is admirable. Nothing less!!!!! My prayers for your family.

I cried when Patsy died and was thankful to know she had knowledge of this suspect. The whole thing is an embarrassment, almost as if we sat by watching this broken piece of machinery in action with no access to it. I don't believe little girls should be dressed so provocatively. Men have enough difficulties keeping the dang thing in check and when unsound, yeah y'all know.

Hey, you know what? Bonnie (man what a slide...geez louise!) was married to a pfal grad also. There was a write up of them in People and the cult was mentioned. Something's landed on the front lawn and it doesn't sound local? That is freaking funny. You have got to come back now before I can leave. Hurry....

socks, that makes me feel old. You described his pace right down to the closing. And I thought Clapton had some high regard for him, yup. He was one of the greats I was talking about. Ala, hey girl....wasn't I just talking to you. Now it is really ciao because work is demanding.

Ain't they pretty! :) Both the 1958 Silvertone and the 1963 Silvertone Amp in Case are simply beautiful IMHO. Ciao! Um, I see you posting socks.......I'll hang around. :)

You asked me a question, oops. Yes I've heard of Delaney Bramlett because his name has appeared with other artists I've enjoyed. I don't know a whole lot about him though other than he is respected by some of today's greats.

It has nothing to do with guitars but those white shoes have got to go. <_<
-
Man there are so beautiful guitars in that link....still looking.
-
That would be still my heart Clapton. :) Why do they call it a V guitar anyway? I think there needs to be more words in that first sentence. I think I switched guitars in that short post also.

Abi, You're a wonderful woman. Obviously a precious wife to Sushi and without question a fantastic mother as well. Z is a ....head. Kathy

Chas, The clear resign one is just plain ugly. The last one I can't figure out. What benefit could it have to be built like that I wonder. Socks, That Indianola was a nice peace, thank you.

It should be made into a greeting card cover. :) And you put me to shame here so I'd not cut yourself short.

T-Bone, that is the cutest avatar.

These are too fun, I can't wait for the rest. :)

Nah, I was just leaving cause I didn't have anything to say. Which is odd but seems to be me right now. I do like some of their stuff, just not that linked song. :) He was talking to me cutie. :) Well actually the band has roots in all kinds of things even touching Janice Joplin so they have a richness in that alone. I just don't like everything they do, kind of like I don't like everything Clapton does.
-
I know I'm being awfully picky but I don't like everything they did. :( But they did some good stuff I did like. :) I'm leaving now......

Most Awesome band! Thanks Paw.

We're inclined to but in our minds if they are being a little pi$$er, then that's what they are, not an angel.
