For years now, I have been secretly thinking that I am really truly a lesbian. I am trapped in a man's body. I really love the female form. Redheads, blondes, brunettes; it makes no difference. Now with my preoccupation with females, I must be a lesbian. But here I am trapped in a man's body, I hate the male body. :-)

If I ran one of those reverse-osmosis pumps that extracts O2 from the air and fed that into my bedroom 24 hours a day, how much would I expect to increase the O2 content? [so that while sleeping I would breath an 'enriched' atmosphere] And would such do any good?

excathedra: "do women sexually abuse children more than men?" I honestly dont know. I have dealt the results of sexual-abuse from both mothers and fathers. I have heard of it from adults other than parent [though I have not had any children, nor do I know any foster-parent with children sexually-abused by adults other than parent]. I see in my local paper usually on a weekly basis more arrests for 'endangering a minor', or 'suspected child-abuse'. With what Bonnie and I were 'investigated' for, none of it was illegal; and we lost any ability to adopt. I see serious abuse arrests weekly in my local paper, so I have to think that nationwide thousands of children must be abused daily.

What The Hay: "Although this information is now a few years old, it was taken from a very reliable source. This information can be found on the web and it is from the US Department of Health and Human Services. Just because the data is a few years old I wouldn't consider it irrelevant. I believe this data was taken from the year 2003. Amazingly the number of reported child abuse cases reached a record high in 2003 in our state as well, which is by far the highest number ever." That is possible. "People who still think that males are the greater percentage of child abuse perpetrators are simply ignorant of these facts." My impression is that while females simply outnumber males, and are likely the most common child abusers, it is often the men who get into the media about it. From our envolvement with the Foster-care system [which was recently stopped], it would seem that step-fathers did do some of the physical beatings and sexual abuse. But most of the overall abuse in children that we encountered came from females [assiging children to grind pills to powder to be snorted, as runners between prostitute and johns, as pillows to be punched, as splash-guards to have boiling water poured over them, etc]. Now I do realize that some children are simply prone towards 'special needs', and that no matter what we do there will still be children from good families that are ADHD, or hyper-active, dyslexic. However among foster-children there exists a very high ratio of ODD, RAD, IED; which are all related to the lack of personal intervention and attention while birth to 3 years old. And now they are saying that even ADHD is often related to the number of hours an under 5 child spends watching TV. There is also a lot of FAS and crack-baby incidents also; which are 100% mother provided forms of abuse. I dont know any numbers on the subject, though from our observation I could see where it is possible that the majority sex could possibly be responsible for the majority of the child abuse.

GarthP2000: "And as an aside, has anybody here noticed that just about every ex-TWIer who still has a very positive opinion of VPW and/or PFAL are all window cleaners?" I realize that at this point you have already been bitch-slapped for this, but I feel that I should point out [not to further beat you down here]. I hold PFAL in a positive opinion and still run classes. I do not clean windows for a living. Not that I would never clean a windows, I do when they get dirty. And I find myself constantly cleaning MS-Windows XP. I have known a few professional window cleaners. It seemed to me that it allowed a person to be a self-employed businessman, with cheap start-up. I knew one guy [Gary Durbin] who had a bunch of clients, all his restaurants gave him a free meal for his family and guests rather than pay him money. His wife did not cook, so it worked out well for him. everyday of the week they ate out at a different restaurant. Really enjoyed it too. Come to think of it, everyone that I know [outside of GS'ers] who still holds dear to PFAL, all do work other than window cleaning. As I think of them now, their professions are: Computer Systems Analyst, Computer Systems sales, Construction General Contractor, Elementary School Teacher, Master Chemist for Lidden Paints, Steam Plant Mechanic for University of RI, Nuclear Reactor Operator and of course sailors. And me an Apartment buildings Manager. :-)

krysilis: "I had thought the reason for compressable organs was for animals that dont pressure-equalize. They dive deep and hold their breath while doing it." "I think you misunderstood me. The deep diving mammals have their rib cages designed in such a way that the pressure can compress them. We cannot do that....we would be crushed at the depths these creatures go. Way beyond 400 feet." I was just saying 400 feet presure as it is the deepest pressure that I have felt. Obviously men routinely go uhh deeper. Every boat I have lived on went deeper. Uh, "Greater than 400 feet" [wink wink]. So your saying that guys who work at deep depths dont really pressure-equalize? When you breath air at pressure, and move around the pressure inside your body is equal to the pressure outside your body. Why do you need to be chrushed? What part of you would be crushed? You can not crush your ribs, as your lungs are filled with every breath, with air at the same pressure as is on the outside of your body. "Galen, when you worked at 15-18% oxygen, who monitored your blood oxygen concentration? I hope somebody did. What was the effective pressure you did operate under? What was the other gas/gasses?" I long ago shredded my qual notes, sorry. Ask an IC-man, they monitor atmospheric gas levels, not ETs. My exposures to 400 feet have been short. Again most of my time underwater was spent at 1 to 1.5 atm. The on-board doc no doubt 'monitored' us all, through behavioral study. So long as everything is running normal, we would only have a third of the crew up at any one time. During casultys or training drills when we expected the entire crew to be up and about, they would increase the O2 bleed and raise oxygen levels to the high 20's, just to get everyone alert and full of energy. Normaly much more sleep is needed, and after 6-8 hours of work you really get to dragging. Usually it was hard to stay going for more than maybe 10 hours as you would just get really tired. 10 hours of sleep would always recharge us for another shift. A normal cycle of 6 hours on watch, 2 hours working maintenance, 10 hours sleep: pretty much made the normal 18 hour day for us. A little lower oxygen helps limit fires, why waste it on the crew when you know that once a fire gets going, the whole place fills with smoke anyway and the O2 is wasted. Once we see smoke we all go onto EABs [Emergency Air Breathing Respirators, a system of 100 psi air in manifolds stationed every 8 feet through out the boat.] So nobody really cares if the fire gets starved of O2. I got the impression that the most important thing in maintaining a man-made atmosphere is getting rid of all the CO2. Yes obviously breaking apart the Hydro-Carbons, Freons, and radical junk is important, but it is easy. The CO2 adds up quickly.
-
Do you live in New England? I would enjoy getting you a tour onboard the NR-1. We took a 4-H group onboard recently, a great trip. I am very familiar with how humans work on low-levels of O2, for months at a time [rarely below 10%, more routinely between 14% and 18%]. O2 percentage is not really the big problem rather CO2 is. Though I have never had to work long-term under high-pressure. Of which I am very thankful. I have known men who do routinely work in high-pressure, not always as divers just bubbleheads. But you are right in that divers do it too. Deep-depth welders make good money and living in diving bells, making trips out into the water each shift for their work. I had thought the reason for compressable organs was for animals that dont pressure-equalize. They dive deep and hold their breath while doing it. People pressure-equalize, so whatever the pressure is outside of our body, it is the same on the inside of our body. The primary issue being dont de-pressurize quickly. I have been wet down to 400 feet, you just swim back up slowly, exhaling the whole trip [HO HO HO HO]. But that is why we dont need compressable organs, we pressure-equalize. :-)

Could this incident be a (mis)application of this verse? I John 5:16 If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it . So many corpse and clergy were "spotting" or detecting devil spirits back then. It became commonplace. In order to qualify as a spiritual heavy, more heavy than other clergy, a minister would have to "spot" someone born again of the wrong seed and refuse to pray for them, like the verse says. Seed spotting became the next level of craziness they had to graduate to in order to feel like a "heavy." I wouldn't be surprised if that minister bragged to his friends later that he received a revelation that devil seed was involved in those kids, that 1 John 5:16 was called for, and that God gave him no other "revelation" so he walked out the door with a dramatic flair. Heavies had to be dramatic to make an impact and gain a reputation.

Abigail: "Basically I see my Christmas shopping as an endeavor to find activities they can enjoy during the winter season ... because come summer they will be too busy swimming, biking, etc. to play with toys." That sounds nice. We just went through a rougher than usual season. The last day of school the 12 year old [samantha] come home from school with her backpack filled with more clothing and her arms loaded down. She had 3 more pairs of boots, and sweaters and pants. She is just so used to beggin people for clothing, that her class-mates will give her the stuff right off their backs. This time she even had an effect on her school teachers. Being in a 'middle-school' this year, she has 6 different teachers. Bonnie goes through the ward-robes of each child and inventorys all their stuff, so we know that Samantha has a wardrobe that fits her and she can go 2 weeks without having to repeat any item of clothing. But the little girl still has to be forced to change her clothes each day, and she will consistantly beg her friends for more clothing. 8 year old Alan, steals from every classmate. Daily we find stuff in his backpack, broken toys even turned in homework from other children. In Novemeber, I made the mistake [on the advise from Alan's therapist] of going a week without checking his backpack. He had collected a solid 6 inches of toys in the bottom of his backpack. None of them were from his stash of toys. It was all from school. Then the school runs a program funded by area churches, where the children get new snow boots. We try to teach the children, but the school wants to play 'santa' to all foster children, regardless of the fact that the children are living in someone's family and I buy them shoes that fit. So they all end up with non-fitting snoe shoes curtesy of someone's goodwill. No matter Tuesday the 28th the foster chidren were shipped out. We no longer are foster-parents. :-)

ex10: "... A guy came into the store where I work, dressed like a woman. He was an obvious transvestite. Nobody wanted to wait on him, so I did. (Geeze, he is a person, like anybody else.)" "Am I wrong in this? I don't think so.....As a Christian and a human, I feel like I should give 100% to this client like I do to everyone else." I think you did great. We are here ministering to the World. I have laid it out 'there', that I dont approve of GLBT lifestyles. That does not mean that I treat them poorly, or I certainly dont mean to treat them poorly. Within the military, if they act out on their feelings they are breaking the law and will be prosecuted [some commands are hesitant to prosecute on this, so the servicemember will recieve a dis-charge as un-fit for service.] But the same could be said about any 'sin'. Consider Paul, he was a killer of beleivers, but he changed. I dont think that anyone you or I meet is beyond God's capability of helping. [unless you did truly meet someone born of the Adversary's seed, but I would think that your senses would be so offended in his presence that it would never occur to you to help him]. :-)

David Anderson: "Galen, I think the problem is the same one I had early on in college. When doing exam problems I'd forget that I had to use absolute pressures and temperatures rather than gauge pressures and Farenheit or Centigrade temperatures, and so got more than one problem wrong on account of it." hmm. I looked again and further. I foudn that Hyperbaric O2 Treatment is defined as: O2 is given at 2.0 – 2.4 atm (or 1520 – 1800 mm Hg) [or 2.02 - 2.43 bar] [or 29.2 - 34.82 psi] for 40 – 60 minutes SID – BID. Under Oxygen Toxicity I found: Central nervous system oxygen toxicity: The NOAA Diving Manual recommends maximum single exposures of: 45 minutes at 1.6 bar [or 1.58 atm] [or 47.26 in Hg] [or 23.21 psi], of 120 minutes at 1.5 bar [or 1.48 atm] [or 44.31 in Hg] [or 21.76 psi], of 150 minutes at 1.4 bar [or 1.38 atm] [or 41.36 in Hg] [or 20.31 psi], and of 180 minutes at 1.3 bar [or 1.28 atm] [or 38.40 in Hg] [or 18.86 psi]. and I found: Pulmonary oxygen toxicity is caused by exposure over 16 hours to partial pressures of 0.5 bar [or 0.49 atm] [or 14.77 in Hg] [or 7.25 psi] or more. All from the NOAA which I thought was supposed to be some smart guys.

houseisarockin: "Galen, thank you for some of your history." Your welcome. "The age of "debt" brought about much intrusion into peoples financial lives. You were expected to reveal the necessary details to aid in their being able to tell you exactly what you were to do. But there's been much done on debt here in the past so will not go further into it. Except to say if you had debt and they knew it, you were not left alone regarding it." Yes, I understand. Tell you what we did. We [bonnie and myself] took budgeting courses and we each volunteered time helping others to work out their household budgets. Then we took the VITA course each year [either Bonnie or I, depending on whether or not I was in port] so the IRS certified us to assist others with their taxes. I did routinely offer to teach other twigs budgeting and tax planning. I was a 'Command Financial Specialist' for the Navy, I taught budgeting, tax-planning and investment schemes. Did Limb Coordinators ever let me? Only once. And anytime that I ever asked a Limb Coordinator about it, I always found that they paid more income tax then I did. I find 40 hours in a classroom each year, well worth the fact that I dont pay income tax. But LCs were generally more willing to waste their money on taxes than to take the time to itemize their 1040s. We bought multi-family propertys [a 3 family property, a 5 family building, a 3 family building] all on mortgages with zero money down. Kind of collected them each place we were stationed. We usually offered rental units to the beleivers in our Twig. By offering housing to the beleivers in our Twig, no body in TWI ever said anything to us about it. I often heard about tithing, which I did tithe and I do. But no corpse ever did get on my case concerning buying real estate or mortgages. Though I think the reason was that I was always prepared and willing to break out charts and timelines on my investments. I will compare my 1040 from any year with any active corpse grad. Not to say that I was outwardly confrontational, except perhaps when the topic is money. investments or paying taxes. :-)

Dmiller- “heh heh heh. I smell a "dispensational arguement" coming up!” Well, really some of this does depend on how exactly you understand dispensations. If grace is everything, and there is nothing carried over from previous administrations; then who cares go to bed with your dog or horse, or kill anyone who bothers you. Who cares, since we are under grace and there are no laws that apply to us. If in some way, the old laws are still in force and in some method still hold as a guideline for ‘righteous’ behavior; then better straighten out. Lingo- “Jesus yelled at and chased the money changers out of the temple, with a whip! He also called a group of pharisees a den of scorpions and a bunch of "whited sepulchres" while in the process of pointing out their error. I won't bother to find the scripture references, because I know, and you know that they are there. Yet, the majority of your post makes perfect sense. It reminds me of the verse in Romans that says, "should we continue in sin that grace should abound? God forbid....." “ So you say that even Jesus did not like those who violated the laws of Moses. Hmm so for example homosexuals would have had an exception? Maybe you think? No, I don’t think so. Jesus held a firm line. WWJD? [What Would Jesus Do?] Hmm, I think stoning. Would could just as easily try to justify any of the other Levitical laws that I mentioned, but I see you did not touch that one. J Hap- “I certainly felt Lingo's and Eagle's love for "twisted" Daryl. fine demonstration of love. give me a damn break. Yes Lingo you can voice your opinion here, (like I have anything to say about it) but to call another GSr twisted is over the line. Whether you meant it that way or not, (and based on other posts from both of you over the last year, I suspect you meant it all) that is what I heard you to say.” I believe, or should I say perceive; that as Christians we love one another, though we also see what each other is doing and we may sometimes dis-like that which we see. Not to say that we don’t love our brother, as Jesus would no doubt still love them. Even though they violate everything Jesus stood for. I would hope that when I walk down the ‘wrong road’, that other believers would see my error and lovingly correct me. Not to say tha tthey don’t love me, but perhaps they dis-like my behavior. Lingo- “We Americans? Oh, and I suppose that we Americans are as rotten as the many-not all-Muslims who sanction the killing of one's sister who may or may not have had sex with some guy, in order to save the "precious" honor of their Muslim father! We Americans?” So what is it any better that we go into a religious war and defend muslims, attacking their Christian enemys? We did / are doing such. I am a veteran of Kosovo. Killing Christians for mommy.

Great, so long as no body was hurt. LOL I am a NRA member and a member of the F.O.P. [Fraternal Order of Police]; I think it is wonderful, and would only question it if she had discharged the weapon. Otherwise why would gun owenrs be angry?

Krysilis [the wonderful]- “When I read your post, I went looking for info which would help me find a reason for this contradictory information.†Thanks. “I couldn't! BUT I believe everything you've found about toxicity is reported for underwater divers. I am making a presumption, this is not borne out by anything I can find to substantiate it....I believe the toxicity arises from adding pressure to pressure. In other words, when they describe a pressure of "2" (whatever units) they are not including the pressure added to the entire system by the depth of the water...so the apparent pressure is greater than what is measured.†I had thought of that, but they seem to go to lengths to explain that such is not so. “The human adult body does not have the adaptive variations which permit it to function at considerable depths (as other sea mammals).†What? Do you mean that human adults can not live for long terms in high-pressure environments? [said the spider to the fly :-)] “Hyperbaric chambers don't appear to produce the same pressure effect as divers, and certainly not for such long periods of time.†Is that these chamber treatments are limited to 1 hour – 2 hours, yes. “I hope my ramblings here shed some light on this for you, Galen.†Such is my hope as well. Most of my direct experience in atmospheres that were man-controlled were low-oxygen atmospheres, and not high-oxygen.

Eagle- May God bless you for your work and believing with these children. I am ashamed that anyone would refuse to pray with you. The clergy in that instance is an idiot. I should hope that you remember this and bring it remembrance in the future each time you face this man. I understand that as believers we should forgive each other, but in wisdom we also need to be wary of those who would hurt us or hurt others. I have refused to pronounce a blessing at weddings before. During rehearsal I explain to the couple that if they are not of my faith-group, I do not feel comfortable giving my blessing on them and prophecy. I happily perform weddings, and I really enjoy it. So far couples have never complained about it. Though in reflection usually the couples that I have not ‘blessed’ would have been considered ‘un-believers’ by our standards. Steve!- “It may just be that that guy is embareassed, or has issues with any situation that would require action on his part. He may feel inadequate or unprepared.” Give me a break, all he needed to do was lead a prayer, it is not like he is expected to manifest sufficient believing to bring forth a miracle on this account, he was only being asked to lead a prayer. Unprepared? No way. Abi- “I also know of two different families who were counselled to send their children somewhere else to live by TWI. One sent her daughter to live with a sister and one sent a son to live with an ex-husband. They were both given this "advice" because their children were considered "unbelievers". The boy was around 12 and I think the girl was around 14.” Wow. The complete stupidity of TWI at times. Children are our blessing, even when at times we don’t ‘see’ such anymore. I have often had to ‘convince’ myself to keep trying. I feel in-adequate now having just lost some foster-children [they were taken away yesterday morning], but we only agreed to lose them after Bonnie has had 2 heart attacks in the past 2 months. Excath- “i don't believe ANYONE is not worth praying for” I agree. The only real thing that I am not sure about as a topic for prayer is ‘peace’. I don’t think man is capable of it. And I don’t see where the Bible says that such is possible, so why pray for it? Justthinking- “One thing I did see was a bias against anyone with a problem that couldn't be solved by quoting PFAL or some wayfer book. Alcoholism, for example. We had a person struggling with it but acknowledging they needed help. They were told to go to AA not us and kind of shoved out the door.” They were called ‘Leeches’. Yes I remember. But hey in my fellowships ‘problems’ with alcohol have happened. Perhaps it is different among civilians, I dont know. Such it is not un-common in the Navy. Generally from what we have seen, focusing on the Bible and doing the Work of God, the other problems do seem to fade. I only have issues when I stop and reflect on things that I have done, men I have known, etc. [sorry but I need to change the subject] Belle- “I know a couple who wanted to adopt a child through "the system". They wanted an older child, say 4-10 years old. B*b Moneyhands told the couple that they shouldn't adopt an older child because they have been through "the system" and were probably ridden with tons of emotional and behavioral problems, not to mention most likely courting devil spirits. They wanted to adopt anyway, despite his misgivings about their plans. He told them that if they went ahead with the adoption to never ask him to pray for them and that kid because they were going against his counsel and God wouldn't be able to protect them. This couple adopted the most wonderful child and they are one of the happiest families I know. Thank God they didn't take the abuse any longer!! Now they are reaping the rewards for following GOD and not BOB!” Wow, your friends are great. Are your still in contact with them? If you can offer them an evening of respite [they would likely love the offer]. We just had some that were 8, 10, and 12; a hand full but worth it. B*b may have been correct in the context that those foster-children “were probably ridden with tons of emotional and behavioral problems”; but to say anything more was limiting his believing for what the adults could do. How dare he [bob] put limits on what a wonderful loving couple can do. Dave- “Leadership should be something people are called to, not something people aspire to.” I agree. “There were way too many people in the Corps.” Because they were recruited. They were advised “the best path for you is to go Corpse”. Annual Limb Meetings were ‘Recruitment days’. People were told to go corpse. I was told go to corpse. I was told that by not going Corpse, I was denying God. “People generally recognize and decide who is qualified to be a leader by their abilities, commitment, determination, and energy. Jesus did not choose the Apostles Paul simply because of his charming good looks and dynamic personality. Paul was dedicated to the lord's work.” I agree. Zshot- “I believe that God listens to all of our prayers and that the prayers of the "ordained" do not carry any more weight than the people who have the need.” But we are all ordained of God. All who believe that is.

satori001: "Does Christmas bring home all the good things we've lost, like ghosts haunting us from the glitter?" ?????? "Christmas is a good time to be impractical, and a little impulsive. Then again, I bought no gifts at all for any adults this year. Got off cheap. We entertained. And entertain still." We are not impulsive in gift giving. But then again if I need something, or Bonnie, then I get it, the time, season or holiday does not matter. So when it comes to Christmas I dont need anything. Bonnie and I each go and buy soemthing for ourselves, so that Bonnie has something to 'give' me and I have something to give her. Mostly for the benefit of the children. The little ones get way out of control during the season. My goodness the advertizing, the encouragement from the school district, the encouragement from Social Services: go crazy, beg people for every toy, every shoe, everything that you dont need and that you will destroy the following day. Bahh. "Christmas is nothing more than a set of expectations and a week or so to realize them, or try. If we are smart about it, we learn which expectations to keep, and which ones to lose." I would not consider those to be 'smart' expectations either. "Christmas hasn't been about spiritual renewal for me for a long time. Peace on Earth?...." What? we fight wars, we have fought wars for many years. We even fight religous wars, who cares? I often still see blood on my hands. Damn there are times, I just can't get any good sleep. Peace you say? No, there is no peace. ". . . Pope mutters about giving, and love, and sacrifice, from his house of gold, jewels and priceless art treasures." Yes there is one source of in-justice. "It's hard to take that old clown seriously, .... Suffer the little children." True, does anyone really take him seriously? "So it's more about people setting time aside to enjoy one another's company, if such a thing is possible. And of course, it is, if you are with the right people." Is that not what we should do weekly? Why wait for X-mas. "But I'm more interested in what makes a Christmas merry, or misery, for you." As a child, Christmas break meant no school so more work. Since adulthood, most of my Christmases have been either underwater or working shift-work. I did have off during Christmas in 1979, then again I think in 1984 and 1985 I did have Christmas off both years to enjoy my wife, but not after then until 2001. The last couple years, I have been kind of 'lost' during the holidays. But raising foster-children, is demanding; I realize that they have gone through a lot of loss in their lives, but everyone spoils them so much, it does not teach any kind of stewardship. "Who cares, I can destroy everything and the social workers will just replace it all again next week" is a common theme. :-)

houseisarockin: "... you will need to fill out a simple financial statement ... statements..." "I feel that I must point out that I was never asked any of these questions, during my 18 year involvement with TWI. Nor did I ever see anyone else required to submit such." "The closest that I recall was when someone went WOW, they had to list what debts and financial obligations they had, to prove that they were walking into the WOW program without bringing into it financial obligaitons that would endanger their future WOW-family." "You left before the 90's didn't you?" 1997. 1991-1993 I was working as a MP and Police Department Chaplain, and I coordinated a Twig. We generally avoided contact with limb [Ct] as much as possible. So long as blue-forms were sent in every week and someone went to a Twig-Coordinators Meeting once a month [or often we skipped 2 or 3 months]. Just as I was transfering, we got a new Limb Coordinator, he wigged out that I had been performing weddings. I asked him if there existed anyone in The Way's Clergy who could do them for the beleivers, he got upset and threw us out. :-) 1993-1997 I was Protestant Lay-Leader onboard USS Casimir Pulaski and later the USS Alaska, my wife did the Twig when I was under, and I did it when I was in-port [bangor, Washington]. We were really focused on ministering to those in our fellowship and on my boat. Again Blue-forms were a big deal, but do them weekly and everything else was moot. I dont think we ever did go to any Twig-Coordinator meetings while there. Once while I was away, a beleiver was painting our living room, and he searched through all our boxes and closets. He found books written by Rev. Cummins and others written by VPW though published at Gartmore House. Mosquido insisted that we burn those books, we refused, so we were thrown out again. [This actually made the third time for us to be 'thrown-out"]. We never did subscribe to The Way Magazine, as I was still trying to get my complimentary subscription from when I took PFAL in 1979. Another fellowship in the area got the weekly tapes, and commonly someone in our fellowship might get the tapes, so sometimes those could pass around. Over the years coordinating various Twigs, I rarely saw any reason to spend any more time with Limb or Way-Corpse people than I had to. Often they were so negative and demanding. :-)

Abigail: " . . . What if He doesn't? What if they come to God and remain homosexuals? Impossible? I bet there are a number of peopl who can say that is exactly what has occured in their lives." Okay lets say that someone does join a church and still wishes to remain living in the lifestyle they enjoyed before. We could just as easily pick any other of the various Leviticus listed sins. What if the person just must have sex with their dog. The Bible, [both old testament and new testament say that it is wrong] but since we are the forgiving era and Christ is love afterall. Do we encourage that new Christian to continue in paths of bestiality? What if they are a serial killer? Or they make their living via robbery. Or maybe two siblings are married? The Old Testament does not apply to us anyway, and Christ is all about love. Jesus never did yell at anyone, he loved everyone and he never got in someone's face to point out their error. :-)

Okay I have a question. I did some reading and I found "Oxygen toxicity". Specifically "Pulmonary OT" and "CNS-OT". 'Pulmonary OT' is when someone is exposed to high oxygen atmospheres for longer than 12 hours. 'CNS-OT' [Central Nervous System] is is when someone is exposed to high-oxygen high-pressure atmospheres. A chart I found said that as the pressure of high-oxygen atmospheres is raised the danger of toxicity is increased. While breathing 100% oxygen at one atmosphere can be done forever, but 2 atmospheres would kill you quick. They even presented a chart for divers using pure oxygen, to know according to how high the pressure of the system, how long you can safely breath it. 1.6 ATA = 45 minutes 1.5 ATA = 120 min 1.4 ATA = 150 min 1.3 ATA = 180 min Question? Yes I did say I had a question. I am getting there. I then did a search for Hyperbaric Oxygen chambers and I read more. Hyperbaric Oxygen treatment Centers normally 100% oxygen at 2.0 - 2.4 ATA, for 40 minutes to 1.5 hours. Question? Yes these dont agree with each other. Can anyone explain? :-)

Hammeroni: "As a potential follower, you will need to fill out a simple financial statement, and provide verification of your statements. A simple copy of your last three years of Federal tax returns will be sufficient, as long as you include a sworn affidavit claiming that you had no other income." I feel that I must point out that I was never asked any of these questions, during my 18 year involvement with TWI. Nor did I ever see anyone else required to submit such. The closest that I recall was when someone went WOW, they had to list what debts and financial obligations they had, to prove that they were walking into the WOW program without bringing into it financial obligaitons that would endanger their future WOW-family. :-)

In the Navy I have had to attend numerous courses on 'Sexual Herassment'. None focused on racial stuff though. I have undergone training on "dont ask, dont tell" policy: so long as nobody asks about whether you are doing X felony; So long as nobody volunteers information that they are committing a felony of X topic; then we can not prosecute you. But that still means that if you get CAUGHT doing X felony, you will be prosecuted. :-) As a foster-parent I have had to attend courses presented by the Rainbow-Coalition. It was on 'GLBT' [Gay-Lesbian-Bisexual-Transsexual] tolerance. And how X percentage of the population is going to be either of those varietys, or all of those varietys, and how we as foster-parents are required to 'encourage' and 'nurture' children into becoming all they can become. Had to sign a statement to the lines of agreeing that I would keep my opinions on fags away from the foster-children. :-)
