Ex-10: Wow! I thought they were one and the same! Well, when people email Paddy, he will have to direct them to his brother Mick. Guess I'll be hearing from Paddy on that one! Thanks, dmiller, and I do hope you enjoy the rest of the book. I think you are right. Perhaps TWI thinks we are ALL "heretics" at GS. Problem is, a few offshoots do, too!

Yes, that's my web page and yes, the book can be purchased by clicking on the image of the book on any page in the website addressing the book. It will bring you straight to Amazon. It is the cheapest you can get. Barnes and Noble.com list it cheaper but not cheaper than Amazon. If ordering it from a Barnes & Noble bookstore, you would pay full retail price. Amazon is the best. mstar1: I completely agree on the other churches you spoke about. Some of them do the same as TWI.

polar bear: Sure, thanks...I'll PM you the link to Amazon where my book is being sold. It's cheaper there. I'll also PM Paddy's email address. I'm glad no one here thinks I'm a heretic. Well, at least not yet. Eagle

Thanks, WAW. Yes, as far as Patrick Heron, he was also known as "Mick" Heron from the 9th Corps. He goes by Patrick Heron or "Paddy" Heron as well. Yes, he wrote that book on my website and it is a bestseller. You can order it from Amazon. Waysider, I probably should shrug it off, but after years in TWI, it still dumbfounds me that people are STILL out there thinking anything that contradicts "Doctor" is either heresy or dividing the church. I was once at a Burning the Chaff weekend at TWI many years ago after the split, and I was still one of the faithful ones at that time. One of the things that began my re-thinking of TWI was seeing one giggling group of believers take one of John Lynn's books formerly published by American Christian Press (TWI) and throw it into the fire. It was a copy of Will the Real You Please Stand Up and my joy of the occasion just got sucked out after I saw that happen. It shocked me so bad that I didn't look to see LCMs reaction to it. I don't think he said or did anything about it or maybe did not notice it. There was some laughter. I never attended another Burn the Chaff. Ultimately, it was the beginning of the end of my involvement in TWI, though I didn't leave just then. I wasn't quite sure TWI encouraged or promoted that incident. The thinking on former believers, was sure wack at the time. The person that sent me the CD is not involved in TWI anymore but still likes Wierwille. With this person there cannot be any deviation at all from PFAL. I'll keep promoting my book, but if anyone has heard anything about "heresy" or banning it, let me know. Thanks. Eagle (Steve)

Recently, I got a CD from a person that still really likes Wierwille on Ephesians. Specifically, it spoke about "heresy" (not being like minded) and causing division in the church. Prior to that, I had been emailing this person and when I mentioned my book, The Genesis Pursuit, I got a non-response on it on return email, as if I hadn't written this at all, but was told I would be sent a CD. I got the CD and the subject was about heresy and division in the Christian church. I am wondering, from those who read the book, if they believe it was "heresy" and if I am "causing division", or is this a possible attempt to stop me from promoting the book. Your thoughts, please. I am also wondering if there was any talk of "banning" the book or any leader speaking against it.

Jordin wins! Expected. What a talent! You know, Sanjaya wasn't half bad with Joe Perry from Aerosmith. I wonder with a little more training, Sanjaya could become something. I never thought he was the worst...just the weirdest.

Blake was good tonight, but Jordin was spectacular as usual. Look for Jordin to take American Idol tomorrow. Unless Blake does a major upset like he did Melinda. Winner Prediction: Jordin Sparks

Does anyone here think Randy Jackson is the best judge of the three? I certainly do. Paula is too reserved in criticism while Simon goes over the top and in my opinion, literally makes things up to criticize people so he can keep a "mean guy" rep about him. Problem is his criticism, even as stupid as I think it is at times, unjustly hits good talent. Randy just tells it like it is to any contestant. He seems to be the most honest judge there and is the only judge I think I can count on for a good critique. Simon thought Carrie Underwood was bad...she is leading the pack in grammys...Simon thought Clay was bad and supported Reuben...Clay Aiken has outsold Reuben Studdard 2 to 1. Simon thought Seattle was bad. The two finalists are from Seattle. There is more...but let's just say...I know people like to see him on Idol, but I would prefer a more honest judge and someone else that is more Randy Jackson-like. To me, IMHO, he tells it like it is...for real. And he is a better judge of winners.

It was a shock, that Blake beat out Melinda in votes. I had suspected Jordin was beating her all along. Both my wife and I fully expected two women finalists. Blake apparently has a following...probably a younger crowd. I do now expect Jordin will win. But the look on both Blake's face and Jordin's face when Ryan announced Melinda was off...blown away was the description. Blake's nervous twitch and exaggerated sense of humor, trying to toughen himself up for the anticipated blow of his own expected departure...well...his mouth wide open when he heard. He just was not expecting to beat out Melinda at all. I will say this...Melinda was too "Tina Turner" like and put too much R&B into almost every song. This style sounds great to a lot of people, but does not cross a diversified culture like the United States. Jordin on the other hand appears to be able to sing anything to anybody. She used some R&B but not much. Even Reuben knew when to soften that style in his songs and wasn't screaming them out all the time, instead using a softer tone. That enabled him to beat out Clay. Clay lost because he was perceived by many people to be a "pixie" or a wimpy looking male, and many hated that about him, despite his obvious talent. I thought Clay was far better than Reuben. But America thought otherwise. If Blake wins, I, no, can't see that. I thought the finale would be much more interesting with a showdown between Melinda and Jordin. Anyway they can do a recount on the total...did Blake really beat out Melinda? Is there a "hanging chad" electronic recount?!!! Eagle

Yup, Elliott is great and I would buy his CD when I see it. My wife thought he was great, too. He has an amzing life story...the guy is diabetic, deaf in one ear, and had a lot of health problems growing up. Apparently he used his one good ear to listen to music, then he liked to sing along with it, then started singing by himself entertaining his parents as a young boy. He kept going, took odd jobs, then tried out for American Idol. He obviously appeared grateful for being on Idol. Can't help but like the guy.

I sent Simon Cowell a copy of my book to see how he liked it, being the foremost number one critic of everything. If he liked it...it would be a big seller. Instead he sent me back this:

Well, as far as past idolists, the most successful ones who have sold are Kelly Clarkson, Clay Aiken, Carrie Underwood, and Reuben Studdard. Clarkson has sold more than everyone at this moment in time because she was the first, but Underwood is coming up on her fast... Underwood seems to be the number one pick of most people in America from the American Idol stage, followed by Kelly Clarkson, Clay Aiken, and finally Reuben Studdard. Taylor Hicks, God love him, is not selling well... Fantasia did somewhat well, better than Hicks, but not as good as anticipated.

I'm rooting for Jordin Sparks. I think her talent is far above everyone and she is only 17 (yet so much bigger and taller than anyone there...). My wife may be going for Doolittle...not sure. We were rooting for LaKeisha to make it to the semifinals but she was eliminated tonight. We both thought Blake's style was getting old and juvenile. But he made it to the top three. We both think Blake will go next week. He may get a record deal, though. The finalists we believe will be Jordin and Melinda. Eagle

Perhaps we need to find a way to find out just by what percentage steroids enhances performance and then reduce the number of homeruns and anything else in Bonds and MacGuire's records by that percentage and put THAT in the record books. Won't happen. Hank Aaron should, when asked how he feels when Bonds breaks the record, say, "Whatever..." It would be nice to have fans sit down and not say or do anything when Bonds breaks Aaron's record. Aaron's record was real and natural. The REAL record. IMHO.

Larry, It helps to apologize. Trust me on this. Think about it or go to God. I believe most (not all, maybe) would accept your apology for your past.

Larry Panarello recommended that people don't post at GreaseSpot? I'm a freedom-of-speech person, too. That's TWI talking...Larry, if this is true, you still have some mindset to get over...

I want to purchase this book and read it. If I like it, can I post it on my website? Eagle

I remember Larry and Connie. Larry was one legalistic guy on Craig's coat tails. He was the Ed McMahon of TWI. One time I remember during the Rock that Craig blasted a guy for making a suggestion and the guy walked off. Craig sent larry running after him to calm him down. It didn't work, though. The guy was from New York and had his New York fellowship with him. One bad act by LCM wiped out that fellowship. They all left TWI that day. None-the-less, I remember being quite the Way enforcer before the abuse hit home. Actually a lot of bad doctrine and weird stuff to boot. My fellowship, all the members forgave me, after I apologized to them all, every one I could find, one by one, over the years. Thank God. I remember Larry being quite the abuser to me once on a minor infraction that wasn't an infraction. I have decided to let that go because of how my people let my actions go. It seems Larry may have turned around here. I certainly can understand how people feel about him, and I guess I won't be asking them to feel good about him just yet. But, as a guy who has been in his situation, and having left, I would like to extend my hand to him and say "Welcome Home." It was long overdue. Everybody deserves a fresh start. I hope I am right. I don't know Larry THAT well.

I think I just have to let Rocky go here so he will stop PMing me. Rocky, I sense you fancy yourself an intellectual of sorts. Whatever. If you are, the words, "B.S." idiotic", "insane" and other phrases thrown at me just for one post against Baldwin is almost further out than Baldwin. Not quite. But it appears you have a temper. I shouldn't have to document every post I have. One chooses to believe it or not. But I am going to do what you don't expect. Get a record of the O'Reilly shows with Baldwin as guest and pull out the quote. Baldwin is more than an actor when he does what he does. He becomes political. In that arena, he tries to affect lives and in this case, for the worse. I felt he needed to be exposed. I will continue to do so. But in the interest of not going further on this subject on this post, whatever you have to say, just take the last word. I don't really care. You do appear polite to people that tend to agree with you. Ron G. - You were right about Baldwin's acting still in force. However, his choice of parts is decreasing over time. He is not in as much as ten years. His career is winding down. But for Baldwin's sake and the sake of the girl getting child support (if Basinger doesn't spend it...who knows?) I am glad he is working.
-
Thanks "Rocky", You have succeeded in using the words "B*** S***" "insane", "irrelevant", at the same time using the phrase "intellectual honesty". Asking is someone else also saw Baldwin make that comment is not asking anyone to do the "research" for me. Asking for a witness besides myself is just that. Asking if someone else saw it as well is not asking someone else to "research" it for me and you KNOW THAT. I'm currently in the works to try to pull the tape or the story on it. When I get it, it will be posted. And if I get it, I'm sure you won't like it.
-
Hello Rocky, Something you don't like to hear is not "irrelevant" because you like to say so. The statement I said reflects Baldwin's character and deserves to be used. We should also post every offbeat characterization of him on this thread as further evidence as to how sick this guy really is. I am wondering if anyone out here remembers that show last year on the O'Reilly Factor on Fox where Baldwin said the "sex with animals" comment. Makes one wonder why Basinger is having a problem, though Basinger may not be the best example either. Eagle

Any way we can find out how Martin Luther was a "Jew hater?" Was it anywhere in his writings? I find that incredulous. As far as Wierwille and the Nazis, he liked to say he got his Way Corps training ideas from the Marine Corps, although as the posts state, the Marines build their men up to be independent. The opposite occurred with the Way Corps. I do believe the born-again Christians are chosen now. But I find it very hard to believe God persecutes the Jewish people either. Wierwille's facination on the Jews and their ancestral "stock" bothered me a lot. What did that matter anyway? The holocaust did happen the way history portrayed. Every now and then I like to lift a prayer about it for the Jewish people to God. I can't imagine the horror of those camps. Eagle

I was going to send a present or something then my old TWI mindset kicked in and I almost decided I should send 10% of my income. Then I said to myself, nahhh, don't do that. Anyway, thanks pawtucket. Eagle

Knock it off "Rocky" I don't take kindly to your BS comment. Address the forum politely, but don't be treating me or anyone else here in the manner you just did. Don't be acting like Baldwin himself, for crying out loud. I just came back on the forum to read your post. I'll address it. I concur that he is now on a TV series. I guess he does have work. There was a period he did not. Then it is good he has work. As far as the "sex with animal" comment, he said it on the O'Reilly Factor sometime last year. I don't have the exact date. I was watching the program. Eagle
