  1. Thanks, Steve! I was trying to take this from memory. I'm glad someone here knows biology. But I have to agree with def59. Disagreeing with homosexuality is not hatred. Trying to reduce honest discourse whether you like the discourse or not stifles debate and a pursuit to find the truth, whether gayness is right or wrong. People who believe that have an abbreviated sense of the First Amendment.
  2. Exie is married? I'll let the guy down gently next time I see him. Too bad, Exie cannot help being a Babe. Neither can Belle or reikilady, or Matilda. Let's not hate them because they are beautiful. (I wonder where I picked that up?)
  3. I'm serious. Na...not a private topic. He wasn't trying to date her or anything. Just a compliment. Just sharing with everyone here. Hey, Exie, should I toss this guy in the garbage? Or loan him out to some other girl on GS? I'll give him one downfall. He is rather a quiet type of guy. Not as humorous as Exie. That may be why he likes her quips on GS. But he'll probably never visit GS again. He was just watching me go through it when he was visiting me and my wife.
  4. I recently had a friend over from New York. He was never in TWI and in fact never heard of it until I told him. His name is Joshua (just call him Josh). I introduced his to GS after I told him of my experiences in TWI. He works Wall Street and has been a stockbroker for about twenty years. He is a young-looking forty-seven years old. He read a lot of Ex-Cathedras posts and thought she was funny. He has no idea what she looks like but thinks she may be, and I quote, a "Hot Babe". He was married for twenty years and his two kids have grown and gone on. He divorced his wife after twenty five years. Anyway, he isn't looking to date Exie or anything. And he's not even here now but back in New York. He has a very large house in New Jersey in a wooded secluded section. He is about 6'2" tall, works out every day in his own gym at home, so he is rather built, has thick blonde hair, a little gray in the sideburns, blue eyes, and the only wrinkles he seems to have are crows feet. He has been on a vitamin-mineral supplement habit for the past ten years. He used to be the captain of his swim team in high school and graduated from Cornell. He is rather wealthy, even after his divorce. He's rather generous and funny. He likes cooking. It is a hobby. He is old-fashioned in the sense he likes to open doors for women and pull out chairs for them in restaurants. I am envious as hell. I look nothing like this guy. I am wondering what Exie would say if she ran into this guy. He kind of got bowled over by her sense of humor on GS, then left to go back to work. Is Exie married, and if so, would she consider meeting him? BTW, he is not looking to meet up. I just thought I'd rat on him on what he said about Exie being a hot babe. Exie, are you out there? Is this, like, insulting to women to be called a hot babe (political correctness these days), or is it a compliment? I used to call girls hot babes on the Ohio State campus. I stopped after too many slaps in my face. (I therefore went into denial and defended myself by trying to believe they were all lesbians). Exie, Is Joshua out of line? You don't have to answer. You can let this thread die if you wish. God Bless.
  5. I think the homosexuality issue needs study. The Bible says what it says. I am really sorry for the loss of your sister, Daryl. I truly am. I really believe she will be with God. While I disagree with homosexuality or gayness, it is more prudent for me to reserve judgment on that until I learn more about it. I think God does the judging. I've been doing some research on, I hate to say it, hermaphrodites, someone born with both sexes, and it turns out that they have chromosomes that have a mixture of XY, not XX or YY to make them male or female. I am wondering if a lot of people, while having XX or YY chromosomes in their bodies, may have been born with minds that have XY programming instead of XX or YY. Those that study genetics help me. I got this off the Discovery channel. Anyway, the point is, regardless of what Daryl's sexuality is, may God Bless him and his sister. I may not be a gay advocate, but I am trying to understand and keep scripture at the same time. Maybe that's what God wants us to do. I don't know.
  6. I thought the POP was idiotic and a lie, so I stayed with Martindale. I left because of the mass legalism and stupidity I saw in the second year of Corps. Later, I learned LCM was frothing at the mounth and finally figured the source of the trouble was Martindale.

    11th Corps

Looking for Patrick (Paddy) Heron, 11th Corps.
  8. He sure was smart in keeping it as long as he did, providing Peterson did this thing. I am pretty well convinced he did this murder. Hard to figure the body would wash up on shore where he had been fishing 90 miles from where they lived. So death is the decision. Funny thing was, he was offered life if he confessed. I hope they speed the appeals and have no delays unless their is new evidence he did not do it. But that is doubtful. I feel horribly bad for his parents, though, especially his mother. Before he was charged, I didn't see her on oxygen. Afterward, she was on oxygen. I couldn't bear to see the grief on her face. It was the same grief that Laci's mother and father had. What Scott has not only done to Laci, he did almost as bad to Laci's parents and relatives, and even his own parents, especially his mother, who may have to watch him die. I don't think she can handle it.
  9. If we were always judged on our deeds, a lot more Christians to include VPW and LCM would go to hell. But thank God for Christ who set us free. My sin ruins my life here and my rewards up there. So I say they should go to Heaven. Besides I'm afraid to judge this one. I admit it.
  10. Thanks, Guys. The website gives a good introduction into it and I'm glad you read it. But to each his own. You can have your opinion on it. No big deal. I enjoyed a lot of it, really. Are not we all arm-chair researchers? Some like it and others do not. But I am glad for those who were reading it first before criticizing it. It is a best seller in Ireland, though. The idea of posting it hear was to show another opinion on the subject of Genesis Six.
  11. Patrick Heron of the 11th Corps has written a pretty good book which complements E.W. Bullinger and John Schoenheit of CES on the subject of the Nephilim, the giants mentioned in Genesis Six. Pat goes the extra mile here and really gets into some extra material. I think he has a few differences with Schoenheit and Bullinger so you cannot tell if he read or heard their material. It all looks like personal research. He carries the subject into Egyptology. The book has been selling in Ireland where he lives but now is available in the United States by calling 1-866-909-BOOK, or 1-866-909-2665. His website is: Patrick Heron I've read the book and he gives a fascinating introduction and good arguments throughout the book. I thoroughly enjoyed it. God Bless.
  12. I think if they start a documentary about "Beautiful Ohio" and zombie-like followers checking name tags and criticizing each other for a piece of lint on their clothing, perhaps we should name the documentary... The Stepford Ministry
  13. JT, There is nothing wrong with people liking their own music and can play whatever they like. The only type of music I hate is disco and rap. It's almost like they are related. But people can listen to that with headphones on ground. I would hack up otherwise. Rock and Roll is permitted. Lyrics requested to be clean, though. No one is forced to listen to "Ladies of the Way" anymore in fellowship. Let the fellowship (twig) coordinator figure out that fellowship's own music. It is not TWI's call in a local fellowship. I like Beautiful Ohio but recognize that it has been overdone, making people sick. Therefore, playing this song is limited to once a year publically. Believers can own tapes of it but like disco and rap, must be muffled by headphones. There will be free therapy for those that need it following 365 consecutive mornings with Beautiful Ohio waking you up. Are these reforms okay and are they catching on?
  14. I am running for president of TWI. First campaign pledge, nobody tithes anymore. All free will offering. Secondly, all fellowships will actually and really be self-supporting and individual fellowships not run by our central authority. Therefore I will diffuse all the central authority and have a greater balance of power on the BOD, the trunk, limbs, and fellowships. Fellowships are requested...requested, mind you, only to give half of the sharing to central HQ. The rest is to build your own local area up and your own fellowship and also to use on camps, outings, teachings, and just plain enjoyment in fellowship. No Blue slips, BTW. No one corrects you at the freakin'dinner table. Etiquette still exists, but manners lie in being polite to people while they eat. You own your own home and those working on staff are given a retirement and 401K with health insurance. No one is marked and avoided and those that were get an apology and a request to come back any time they choose. The Rock of Ages comes back. The WOWs come back. But WOWs get to work any way they choose to survive. The classes are free as abundant sharing paid for them anyway. Way Corps status is restored to all who graduated. Lawsuits against PJ are dropped and he gets his website back. Mrs Wierwille gets to move back home and keep that home as her own, JP and the rest of the family free to use it. And they can have it after she is gone. The Wierwilles and Kipp family have carte blanche to walk on property because their families donated it. The fire ring cemetery is open to all to pay respects and Doug McMullan is reimbursed for all expenses. The names of those buried there get a special stone with their names on it. The WAP classes are gone. New updated versions of PFAL are brought forth. "Christians Should be Preposterous" (pun intended) is thrown away. Only giving from the heart in this new ministry. The Way College reopens in Colorado. That place is the new college. And this time it is regionally accredited with a liberal arts program included. Sexual harrassment is dealt with severely. The new teaching on sex is, no premarital sex, no adultery, and the rest is common sense. The Prevailing Word Auditorium is renamed again the VPW Word Over The World Auditorium. All ex-way ministries are welcome to share the land when needed. We are all brothers and sisters in the Word. (Some hate this, some like it...let's see what happens...)
  15. Oakspear: I have to agree, VPW did setup the entire centralized system which was the real problem behind the entire downfall when one man, like LCM, takes total control and destroys. Yes, and I was told by key clergy, that VPW did that first. Thanks for the reminder. God Bless.
  16. My3cents: Not saying VPW was perfect. He did run it better, that is all. Frankly, I feel most of what VPW has taught was stolen, plagiarized, made up, and a lot of it wrong. BUT, he kept the ministry financially solid, (of course by forcing a teaching on tithing...) I don't believe CG had any legit paper posthumously by VPW. I believe he made that up. Just a power play. He didn't have to do what he did publically to the Way Corps. If the Trustees didn't listen, fine. then leave, separate and have Geer of Great Britain. Leave the rest be. It really began the incredible upheaval. But I give most of the credit of the Way's demise to LCM. He has to get the prize. The trustees should have dumped him long ago for being incompetant. But I will agree, VPW was not all that great, either. But he was at least smart enough not to go on a nationwide witchhunt. Good Lord.
  17. The guy destroyed TWI. He was the first to really hurt it. VPW hurt it with some of his "off-side activities" but the organization was still somewhat solid when he died. Geer came and for the most part, greedily destroyed it. It took Martindale to destroy the rest of it.
  18. The topic seemed to get around to the sond of God of Genesis 6. There is a great tape by John Schoenheit on that and another good book out of Ireland by Patrick Heron called "The Nephilim and the Pyramid of the Apocalypse". Schoenheit's tape should be listened to first. He is with CES.
  19. GSG: You are right about the thread. My apologies.
  20. GSG: It's certain the only one here that really wants to belive the devil can get people born or him or born again of him is you. It's okay if you like to believe that somehow out of scripture. Just leave the rest of us who don't believe in it out of it.
  21. I thought the image looked like Madonna. Not the Virgin Mary Madonna, the Evita Madonna. But without kissing Brittney Spears.
  22. Belle, You are more intelligent than all the life in TWI combined.
  23. Well, I was wrong. Artest is out the rest of the season and the rest were suspended for various periods of time. They all got it.
  24. If I saw this right, after Artest hit that young fan, another older middle-aged fan grabbed Artest from behind in a stranglehold and threw him to the ground. Another Piston came up and hit that guy and another Piston after that jumped that same guy putting him down, so it took two Pistons to take down this middle-aged guy. After that fans began coming after the Pistons in the stands and coaches and other players were trying to get Artest and the rest of those that struck fans out of the stands. Kind of a blur. That's what I saw. Are they holding off the suspensions until next year? That is what I heard. If so, that is despicable. I hope the team is sued for as much as is possible. I don't think the league is doing enough. I do believe they should find the "water" guy and have him arrested and his name given to the Pistons lawyers so they can at least counter-sue him. He deserves it. No punches should have been thrown by players, but I think that guy needs punished, too.
  25. Welcome Knuckles! You are correct in the scripture buildup, especially in harmonizing the gospels. Wierwille's way did not harmonize the gospels but added to them. The gospel writers wrote from what they witnessed in their own view as truthfully as they could, and I do believe God inspired these men to write down their individual accounts, God specifically picking men who would write them as King, Servant, Man, and Son of God. The differences in their accounts are not contradictions, nor do we say they are separate individual accounts than the other gospel writers had written. Rather, if we put the records together, their records complement the others and fit together and there are still no contradictions if translated properly. I don't believe Wierwille or Bullinger did this properly.
