  1. Are we calling Texas a cult? . . . j/k The NPD seeks to dissolve boundaries. Coerced abortion was normalized through the Abortion Doctrine. It HAD to not be murder. I can remember some of LCM's rants on the topic but I just grossed myself out recalling his words.
  2. Galen's story is tragic. But I think it show the weightiness of the decision on both sides. It's not easy and shouldn't be. Outside of TWI I've seen abortion used as an emotional weapon. Carried out to inflict emotional pain on someone else, narcissistic supply. There's more and it's all just selfish. In TWI I think it was an example of an emotional numbing. It was not a discussion. Contrasting it with murder makes it a black and white decision and encourages indifference. The Squirrel is back. I knew today was a good day.
  3. This isn't meant to be a doctrinal thread. Whether or not abortion itself is always murder is mostly beside the point. But it is an emotionally charged topic for a reason. There should be some deep feelings associated with the topic, IMO. The Abortion Doctrine was there to be made common among leaders and non-leaders alike. The Cult leader ultimately wants you to literally take your life and those you care about in worship of them. The Abortion Doctrine in TWI is a step in that direction of self destruction, IMO. That's the sickening part. Take these decisions lightly so that future to-be-determined decisions can be taken lightly as well. How far has no limit. The Abortion Doctrine highlights the depth of evil that is latent within The Way International.
  4. Far as I understand. They wanted the rest of us to do the same.
  5. Along with The Dead are Not Alive and Jesus Christ is Not God this Abortion is Not Murder was screamed about quite a bit in The Way. (Notice how this and that are Not something else) I'd always paid more attention to TDANA and JCING subjects and ignored the Abortion stuff for most my life. Until the Abortion Doctrine was suggested upon my now oldest son. Then sh!+ hit home. I might have snapped. Why did they scream constantly about abortion not being murder? What were they hiding? What was the conflict? If you're still with TWI, would you sacrifice your own for them? Are you Abraham? Is that who you think you are? Why was everyone taught so intensely Abortion is not murder? What was being cosigned on?
  6. There's like half a dozen subjects popping up over the passing of one person not named VPW. And everyone's a medical expert now. Maybe ban all discussions around this passing for six months. If a subject is important it will come up again?
  7. The NPD has a far greater fear of his/her own demise than the average person. It's the fear of death projected onto the world at large. Lots of folks know not to worry about what they can't control while they still have breathe. Unlike the NPD. I'm sure that applies somewhere and everywhere.
  8. I don't think JAL's lack of belief killed him. Pandemics kill more than war. Always have. Who was this guy who's name is being thrown around? What did he accomplish? He took PFAL and stuck around I assume.
  9. No, but it's an origin story. And a better story about inner conflict than "I don't wanna . . . make it snow"
  10. Thou shalt not surely die? Your eyes will be opened . . . one might fall out, Odin did just fine with the other. Lance Armstrong, not so much. Whose identity? Cult founder or his loyal subjects? Are they not tied together?
  11. The NPD feeds on the image projected back to them by others. VPW's choices caused his eye to fall out, contradicting his previous statements. This would instigate deep feelings of shame, self-hatred even. So he or his flying monkey's comes up with a story. Boom. Problem solved. Carry on. VPW knew he wasn't as good as others. His envy drove him to plagiarize. Copying isn't consistent with his false sense of self so he confabulates seeing snow on the gas pumps. Everything is all part of God's plan now. Feelings of happiness and joy follow.
  12. VPW sacrificed an eye filming PFAL . . . he labored so intensely body parts just fell out . . . little cleaner than Origen. Rome was founded by a guy raised by wolves. Descendant of Troy. Coca-Cola keeps its recipe in a vault. Batman's parents were killed in an alley in front of him.
  13. I was going to let it slide but Capital O, three times. That's completely Obvious. Definitely a message.
  14. Lessons on how to translate twisted language are available. For a small initial price.
  15. There was a cabin, and there was also a sitting area built into the earth, where you sat on stumps or logs. These were near each other, weren't they?
  16. "Biblical Research" needs clarification as to whether the reference is to research (investigating to seek new conclusions), or re-search (review VPW's works - because all the "work" is done). At least the pronouns are clarified.
  17. From what I gathered there was an audience. The person would increasingly push the envelope on what people on this website would buy into. They were sort of showing off to someone. It was explained at some point the open nature of this website combined with knowing a bunch of traumatized ex cult followers makes it an easy target. They used different forms of meta talk to communicate. At the time I was mostly clueless. Some folks were in on it, some folks were not. I learned the hard way to understand. There was a whole Facebook page dedicated to out her. I was asking too many questions and eventually felt I got targeted as a sus. There was a whole art or dance with that. Whole pages came alive and everyone worked in unison. That was shocking and can only be experienced. Understanding what was "coded conversation" and what was just noise and what didn't need to be read into eventually was a curiosity at first. Take it too seriously and it's time to get away from the computer. They even had an exit meeting. Talking to me after experiencing one of the most intense of experiences. I did notice other Greasespotters in there but none in some of the more intense pages I was on. And there were many pages.
  18. Lol! Actually saw that Movie in Founder's Hall . . . That's old. Yes the language needs to broken down further. IF I want to communicate something say to family in TWI I need to talk a certain way. Not how I would talk to others outside TWI. I can remember pacifying arguments with other wayfers with wayspeak. It has utility. It's a double edged sword though, it damages you as you use it. Problem is, wayspeak is a feeling . . I'm not using codified rules to apply it. I was previously trying to communicate that the jargon could be diluted over time, like over generations. Meanings and purposes could be lost. As in the game of telephone.
  19. *IF* ye continue in my word - LCM's WAP class. If . . . IF. .. IIFFF!!! Yes that was triggered I can hear him tapping on the board with that stick! And yes I have to reread what you wrote because now I am thinking about LCM. And LCM brings emotions I don't like. Which might alter my thoughts, and what I am reading. IF I can stop associating IF with LCM, maybe I'll stay in the moment if IF happens. Bit iffy there.
  20. I am speaking to whatever medium this is Changing the language would change an individual's perception and in turn would change behavior . . . Changing the perception of others changes how they are treated. Cults have cult speak to more easily communicate to the people desired behavior. Cult speak communicates to a person's baser instincts. A person begins to filter the world in that way. (The cult leader has a deeper motivation they are trying to relate. . . . And can produce this speqk as I understand Vaknin say) A change of language limits the ability to be controlled. I assume the term "harm" is redundant here. If leadership forgot the purpose of the words VPW used they might change them by mistake. The DNA begins to mutate from there? Or contact those folks from Clockwork Orange.
  21. Pinker link Vaknin Link I see a parallel between cult language and personality disorders language. On the LCM thread I can only act it out . . . The attitude behind the vague communication. There's wayspeak and there's LCM speak. If you're implying by changing the language you change the cult?
