I think my main point is I trust my eyes/real world experience more than social media. Google "Total covid cases in us" . . . I check it almost daily. New York Times, worldometer, CDC data. Less than 47 million covid cases reported in the United States thus far. 68.2 % of 330 million people getting vaccinated is 225 million vaccinated people in the United States. Many had 2 or 3 shots. So far more shots than infections. If the data changes significantly I'm likely to change my view.

Far more people have been vaccinated than have had Covid. I can walk down the street and point to houses where Covid killed someone. I cannot walk down the street and point to houses where the vaccine killed someone.

Gotcha. The language being used on natural remedies affects perception, as mentioned in other threads on other topics. That is a broader topic than the vaccine, but is clearly includes the vaccine topic.

I got hung up on the "God-given" phrase but "naturally" is right there with it. That is a meaningless word in this case . . . other than to cause confusion and alter reality. Manipulating our environment for survival is naturally what human beings do. Not being passive sticks in the mud. "quantitative" is put in quotes twice. Is there a reason for that?

Nearly 7 out of 10 Americans have at least one dose. Nearly 6 out of 10 are fully vaccinated. Boosters are available for certain groups but not everyone at this time. Children 5 - 11 can be vaccinated now at the schools around here. Most people are getting vaccinated. Apparently there is controversy about the difference between treating worms and a viral disease. Made more controversial by the complete lack of clarity as to why this is a controversy.

I'm just gonna leave this right here. This is what I learned today.

Okay I'm awake now I was originally trying to get under why others refuse the vaccine as they appeared to me to point to independence/self-reliance as a reason . . . I'm not getting the vaccine in order to assert my individual rights which I feel are threatened. I depend on me and me alone. I grow my own food and dig my own latrine. Safety/comfort vs freedom didn't come from a political angle in my view . . . but I think I can see now how it often does. We often use the word democracy but are technically a type of republic. In this context, with the virus, the vaccine would increase freedom. Many economic systems have been disrupted. There is still fear of the virus. We are interdependent. Each person getting the vaccine would free others to move forward and start dealing with other matters. Getting the vaccine affects others. Not getting the vaccine affects others.

Before the vaccine and mandates I wore a mask because I knew it made others more comfortable. Minor inconvenience in exchange for people being more open. I didn't like the mask because it was annoying to wear and because it made it much harder to read people's faces. Communication was made more difficult. Were they smiling? Scowling? Mouth breathing? It did hide anything in your teeth. The shutdowns affecting the economy, pushing people into poverty. Poverty kills. So we had stimulus. Now we are hyper aware that fiat currency is a means for control. And that touches everything. Getting the vaccine helps open up the world. There's bigger threats to life than the virus and fear of a silly needle.

I'm not sure I follow you at all. The curiosity of this thread is that the traffic is here and not about the way. "God-given" immune system. What are they talking about? I just don't. God-given. . . God Given rights? They don't get the vaccine because they are self reliant and others are not? So maybe the video had something to do with conformity? Then they would explain?

I removed the video if it detracts from the thread but I am interested in how we can obtain rights and freedom.
