  1. Ok Mr Shrute The wavelengths you mention, sure let's agree in some way they always existed. One of the mind's interpretation of this information is in terms of color. We have instruments now that simply convert this information to numbers and graphs, instead of colors. I like to imagine that energy interacting with the chemical bonds and their various vibrations. But that's my mind's fantasy. But our perception seems to be altered by the language used. The grandiosity I perceive in Mike's writing focuses on language and then the self. This had something or nothing to do with free will but he ran out of time.
  2. Because blue does not exist. We've all been indoctrinated.
  3. "Ancient dialect of Amercian English" It is almost comical how TWI not only bends the English language to distort the followers reality . . . But claims understanding of ancient languages in order to help inject more nonsense into its cult speak. To be be physically alive but only able to communicate in terms of male bovine feces to the people closest to you. Must be a wonderful life.
  4. *quotes James 1:22-25 . . . worry doubt and fear from some class . . . and the gingerbread man*
  5. In addition to various defense mechanisms, some people don't experience time constancy. Intermittent pieces of experience are simply not registered. There are then gaps in the sequence of events in memory. The mind must then confabulate, or make up events to maintain a consistent internal dialogue for the sake of sanity . . . At least for that individual.
  6. . . . you're pointing out a pattern of exodus events spanning VPW's entire existence . . . and TWI's. Likely part of a cycle . . . perhaps the discard portion?
  7. Hannah Arendt also has a term she called "thoughtlessness". When you're not so busy. (Mike) I feel Mike isn't really talking to anyone outside himself. That's not a slam on him. Just the way the dialogue feels, as an observation. . . Much they way Twig Fellowship felt.
  8. When parallel with if you want to, it's all math in the end.
  9. Hmm. Narcissistic Personality Disorders fall in love with their own Image, not themselves, but their image. The sucky situation of being unable to see this image must drive the vampire batty, which also kinda look like little flying monkeys.
  10. *grabs a wrench and uncrosses eyes, one at a time* Mike, do you have your own personal review of Hannah Arendt's take on the Banality of Evil?
  11. I believe in narcissist terms this is reffered to as "the narcissist sob story" . . . If someone opens up easily that is a red flag. They're getting you to open up in turn and grabbing ammo for later use.
  12. Death anxiety. LCM ranted about fear. The fear of death being the denominator of all fear. Not dying being THE LIE or something of the sort. . . He was mocking ways in which people soothe this awareness? Acceptance of death drives many to act. To do something meaningful with their time. Others numb the thoughts away. The NPD fears death more than most. The loss of control. Acceptance is not possible for them. . . . Their false self is too fragile . . . Staying at the mercy of the draft would put someone on the level of everyone else . . . Also not acceptable.
  13. Perhaps their form of slave morality had no defense against the hedonism of the shared fantasy? Thus the herd follows.
  14. The lack of a real self leads the narcissist to watch others more carefully, to take on the personality of others. They have to borrow from others what they can't generate from within. All this watching and studying others from a young age builds their skills of manipulation (to obtain supply) They are copycats by nature.
  15. Thread being about Gatekeepers, Twinkiy, I think you're meaning to say Keymasters to da Verds interpretations. I Corinthians 4:18, KJV, Stay Puffed.
  16. Many are called . . . few are chosen . . . why are you still here? Cause 'yer more special than the rest . . . confirmation bias something something It's like you're describing a Maxwell-Boltzmann distribution shift . . . only using the process of regression within a group . . . limits of which Thanos would call a simple calculus.
  17. Reminds me of the time I found the Tesseract. Then I explained to everyone that they should do what I say and be me amazed for the privilege to do so. Some were like, . . . but why? . . . And I said, "Because I have a shiny stone" and looked at them like they are idiots. I'd been expecting to hear from heaven for a long time . . . But why? but I hadn't heard that way before. Similar events happened before?
  18. Yes but what is super blessed? What is blessed? What is the logic to being blessed?
  19. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Idealization_and_devaluation A reason to target younger crowds.
  20. Mike is both defensive and indicates some sort of feel-good feedback response, like conditioning or addiction. He shouldn't have to answer the spectrum questions. JMO.
  21. I was wondering if "super blessed" was a euphemism. Like drugs? Emotionally induced high?
  22. LCM going off about a program not created by TWI? No way. When did the two drink limit begin? Covering for VPW's legacy or saving money? Out of fellowship began at that next sip after two drinks, not on drunkenness. That's where the Adversary gets his foot in your "door".
  23. Happy Ho-Ho (If we are reinforcing the shared fantasy via language - are you with us, or them?) Love is Obedience they(LCM etc) taught explicitly. If you do not obey, love is withdrawn. If you obey, you give away more of yourself.
  24. The cattle prod is important too. Let's not forget that. That was a jolt of pleasure in the delivery.
  25. "This will become ordinary" You become the people you spend the most time with. How norms are normalized.
