Craig Has His Own Offshoot Going On
Bolshevik replied to Stayed Too Long's topic in Out of the Way: The Offshoots
He references the word "we" in Corinthians . . . First he puts everyone down, then puts down the people in Bible, then he associates Paul with those people as Paul tries to help them (because he knows Pauls thoughts), then relates modern day people to those folks, and of course *he* is standing in gap for them. If you followed any of that . . . It looks like he is blurring boundaries. Boundaries between a modern narrative and characters in the Bible. And then blurring boundaries between himself and the listener. -

He slowly reads the verse and injects so many tangents as he reads it, how do you truly follow it without giving in? . . . Immediately frames it in us versus them (senses versus the spiritual) . . . A heavy, condescending, cadence, . . . You're just waiting for the body slam like it's a wresting match -

The "Second Wave" of returning to PFAL has started

You're probably right. I was thinking in terms of King James English when I made the joke. T-Bone pointed out other translations use the word heart. Use of "bowels" or "heart" can give a different mind picture to the modern reader . . . Which is humorous. I was also considering we feel emotions in our chest or in our gut or both. Scientifically perhaps these feelings originate and are technically in our heads. Thankfully. . . There's PLAF and a handful of simple keys to interpolation we can use to clear all this up like a hand in a glove. -

For out of the heart/bowels proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies.,These are the things which defiled a man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man. -

I shoulda been clear on that. I think I read that bowels . . Such as Intestines, even kidneys were once commonly used to express what later we use the word heart to express. Honestly I think both locations are accurate. -

Colossians 3:12 - referring to an emotional experience of said diet Dueteronomy 23:13 - . . . Did you think the fun would last? -
I'm looking at Rocky's video but I'm not sure I'm seeing all of it, just the introduction. So I'm sure I'm missing something. Con Artist sounds at the moment to be an umbrella term for any number of characters. Here we're often concerned about our favorite con artist. I think we may be discussing "narcissist masks". The body language guy likes to find them and point them out. There may be similarity there.

One second to mourn Two seconds to celebrate Standard practice in TWI is that emotions are not real. Leadership often bragged about this skill of transition, showing it off. I would interpret your description as VPW did not feel what others feel. That does lend to acting, because there was no transition between emotions to feel. I would question his sanity, though, and how much he knew about what he did.

Sorry, haven't seen the video. con art·ist noun INFORMAL a person who cheats or tricks others by persuading them to believe something that is not true. By the above definition? Penn and Teller would do that for entertainment and educational purposes, wouldn't they? Unless they aren't cheating? cheat /CHēt/ verb 1. act dishonestly or unfairly in order to gain an advantage, especially in a game or examination. "she always cheats at cards" avoid (something undesirable) by luck or skill. If we're looking at cheating as VPW's avoidance of reality to stay in his comforting fantasy to avoid his internal suffering, yeah, he was a con artist. He likely wasn't playing by the rules the majority play by.

One of the Mathew 6 private translations was "Let them eat Marbled Cake". Looks wavy, any way you slice it. Is this how you get fullness, Right? -

Oh, so negative thinking means a independent thinking. That's probably what was meant in the original. Mike brought up death. Doesn't seem that is something a Pro-PFALer would be concerned about at all. It's just sleeping in their world. They've got infinite time in the prison of the renewed mind. No need to live this life when there's an escape clause, right? -

It's sadistic. When "a grad" tries to follow all the "rules" and, predictably fails, "the leader" is getting pleasure from that futility. When "a grad" realizes they are on a fools errand and speaks out, "the leader" gets a kick out of that, too. . . Cause there will be no remorse. The slippery (pun filled) language is chaos for chaos sake. There is no desire to communicate anything of substance. Just generate something that looks like a conversation . . . For the sake of angst, frustration, suffering. -

Precisely. Wait, what? . . . *googles fullness* noun noun: fullness; noun: fulness 1. the state of being filled to capacity. "scores of cans in different states of fullness" the state of having eaten enough or more than enough and feeling full. "the feeling of fullness you acquire from eating brown rice" the state of being complete or whole. "the honesty and fullness of the information they provide" (in or alluding to biblical use) all that is contained in the world. "God's green earth in all its fullness is for the people" 2. (of a person's body or part of it) the state of being filled out so as to produce a rounded shape. "the childish fullness of his cheeks" (of a garment or the hair) the condition of having been cut or designed to give a full shape. "hair was cut with a high crown and fullness" richness or intensity of flavor, sound, or color. "the coffee is of a luxurious fullness" Fullness like a hand in a glove? Then we are back to us versus them using Da Adversary. This is a simple form of thinking we all experience especially under pressure. Looking for simpler, happier times. Making the Reich Punny Also. -

One thing that is interesting is how the group at the end starts discussing seeing cults everywhere. In board meetings of "the elite", which they are probably not sitting on. One guy makes a pyramid shape with his hands, as if any hierarchical structure immediately means cult. Lends to conspiracy theory thinking, imo. Although I think one gentleman said he uses the term "cult-like" and not "cult".

Thanks Twinky. I was curious to see the video Twinky posted and just posted to confirm it was the same video. It is very interesting.
