Are you saying there's some conspiracy in Christiandom to hide information from the rest of us? Pretty much all of my friends who grew up in twi ask this same question: "How come, when a new person comes to fellowship and asks a simple question, none of the Advanced Class grads can answer it? Why must they start pulling out syllabi and collaterals and spend hours piecing some answer that starts with "Well, I remember once Doctor said yada yada yada . . ." Why do questions we ask need to get sent up the Way Tree? (Only to never be answered) Advanced Class grads are not educated. Their heads are just stuffed with info to regurgitate. They are not taught to think or love. What are they a grad of anyway? You just sit there and listen! There no test or oral exam. Why was LCM and VPW the expert on political affairs, history, social issues? What good was that "education" if nobody could put it to use? Funny how this "education" only "works" if one is standing with twi. Leave the Household, and God leaves you, and His Word stops working. Christadelphians believe very similar to twi regarding the trinity and the dead alive now. They've been around at least 150 years. Nothing began or ended with Victor Paul Wierwille. Horse-poop. TWI does not allow individuals to review VPWs research and verify. You listen to a sunday service and go over the notes. You read the way mag. Research in twi means you go to a scripture index of twi's publications and review that info. I am a scientist in training. I'm taught to verify, prove to myself, accept nothing as absolute, show how I came to conclusions, show all uncertainty in my data, expect others to verify my work . . . The "research" done at twi is ludicrous. Advanced Class grads know nothing. There given a bunch of points to "believe", and reasons to accept them. Then they talk about that. Idiocy. An education my foot. As someone born and raised in twi, I crave what other church goers have. Faith. A relationship with the Big Guy. Power in prayer. Compassion for others. And things I've yet to learn I lack. Mr. Lone Wolf, Hitler was successful in propaganda too. And if you're not convinced: Get Convinced!

Videos would be nice. Copies for all the "innies". Help them get out. I guess for me this would just prove once and for all that there is nothing good about twi. They may have possibly had some true doctrines but they would have been better in some other ministry's hands.

No kidding, Growing up in twi, I thought so many sayings originated in twi. (much like I thought the doctrines did too) I turn on the television now and see a minister referring to the Bible as "The Word." People today still claim VPW is the originator of that saying.

My neighbors (Germans) can get their beer striaght from the Duetcheland (relatively cheap too) The beer comes in these @22 Oz bottles. They taught me how pour the beer into tall glass by inverting the bottle completely upside down, letting the glass fill till the beer flows up to the bottle opening. Once the bottle is below the liquid there is complete control of the pour, which can be done very quickly or very slow. In German restaurants a server can pour two tall beers at once, holding two glasses with one hand and two bottles with the other. Anyone seen this before? Fun stuff.

When do you hear a twier say "Ya know what, I don't see this practice from the Word" instead of "I need to take the Advance Class again." You could argue with a twier that your favorite color is blue, and they'll try to get you thank the Board of Directors for the colors of the rainbow.

You're saying The Word drives people into mental institutions? I did not come to ministry. I did not ask to be a part of it. It took years (I was dumb enough to ask to leave, the answer was "NO") and I'm still prying my way fully out. (Family involvment makes it tricky) You see Mr. Lone Wolf, My parents are not my parents. They are ruled by twi leadership. They cannot love me and I cannot know them. (You should hear the conversations we have) They ask me still. "When's LCM coming back?" even after I tell them "I hate TWI" (or strongly dislike if you're thinking of a "you shouldn't hate" argument.) They hit me too hard too often because twi told them too. Limb coordinators from six states away would call my parents up and tell them how to be parents. I am still trying to make contact with these martian parents. WHOSE FAULT IS THAT Mr. McQuade? Just like a TWI goer, you seem to be replying in black and white.
