I was taught by twi to be rude to outsiders, to be snob of Christian, that as the man I should dominate and micromanage my wife and kids, to "mark and avoid" everyone instead of loving them, that the rest of the world is tricked and I know the truth, how to ream people out and that this is how you love people, that I have secret knowledge of the Bible and even Politics that the rest of the world does not, that if I give all my money to them God will make my life abundant, that LCM was the MOGFART, the if I disobey the TC, LC, BC, RC etc the adversary will attack me, if I disobey my parents I would die young, if I left twi I would die, that the internet is the adversary's domain, that the truth eminates from New Knoxville,. . . . . I learn more about the goodness of God from watching Vegie Tales than I ever did at twi. and that has nothing to do with vpw or his sex life, aside from his imprint on my mind, toss the fish.

hmm, So "believing without works" is like "running without getting anywhere?" Pretty much every "pistis" in the bible was translated to believing in twi. Faith everywhere else. Abraham believed God and it was counted to him for righteousness or Abraham had faith? Abraham had faith(trusted, had confidence in) God and then believed(took action). As a result of his faith he believed? His believing was a result of his faith? If so, which did God count him righteous for? and would believing just be a manifestation of faith?

I'm not sure what it was that was just said here. But something bugged me. Everyday I find another aspect of twi teachings (vpw, lcms, all of it) to be anywhere from doubtful to a devilish doctrine. Everytime my wife and I decide to give up another way doctrine, we really do "let the foot off the hose" a little more. We've gone stepwise from TWI is God's ministry, to lcm made a mistake, to "it was all lcm's fault", to the ministry's just made up of people-it's the Word that matters, Now we're considering that vpw was a crook, and looks like it won't be long before we consider twi truly to be the devil's church. vpw stole material, cut and paste a ministry together. Taking his doctrines and scrutinizing all new information based on his way of thinking is not "proving all things" and therefore you can't "hold fast to that which is good" if your whole sense of right and wrong is twisted. Toss the whole fish. No, soak it in acid and flush it. God is big enough. There's plenty of fish in the sea.

LCM basically just took Genesis 3:6,7 and gave every word in it a sexual spin. Said the "original" language had a lot of sexual connotations. Then he just blurts out that "Clearly the most cataclysmic sin throughout the Word is homosexuality" [Ro 1:26,27] Then shows a painting by some famous European from hundreds of years ago and points to it as evidence. the LC once showed us a book which supposedly had these words. I couldn't see it in there. but hey, oil paintings are proof enough.

I was thinking about this "jumping all around, being triggered by words and phrases" one time a few years ago and suddenly realized, Hey! I could make anything up! And most people would believe it! Even me! At that point I really didn't really want to participate in required teachings anymore (which had once been a sign of maturity and growth)

oh oh, sorry lindyhopper, yes we stayed in the regions. We stayed in the same town as the limb coordinator of the assigned state, which happened to be where most of the wayfers lived. So half the disciples came from very close, (one dude in the same house) I came from within the same limb about an hour away, another an hour away in another state, and one other a few hours away. Your right, not everyone came from the same town. (in our case, most did though, not all). Either way, it was a complete waste
