I've been wondering what Lone Wolf wrote about "filling in the details". In twi the Word always had to fit "like a hand in a glove". "Vpw's" handling four Crucified and Peter's denials are examples of "making the Word fit." I remember lcm going off topic one service and yelling about how "we're coming close to finding the exact minute of Jesus' birth." Does God via the Bible even want us to know these details? Do they deepen our understanding of God's message? Does God want us to use some (intelligent) imagination in interpreting the Bible? (can more than one interpretation lead to God's desired result?)

Any predictions for tomorrow? Schilling and Pettitte, at Fenway. . . Okay I'll vote sox. 3-2. 1-0 up to the 7th.

I agree rascal. If I don't stop and reconsider all these "little" details I was taught about scripture, I will continue to believe them and skew my thinking of other scriptures based on them. And worse. . .I might even go on and teach others (like my kids) that these things are so.

I just remembered, one time, I think it was a Sunday Serive, lcm yelling about how his decisions can get misguided based upon the belief of the cabinet members. He said something about how if just one cabinet member doesn't believe, he won't get revelation. Talk about skirting responsibility.
