  1. Did anyone notice an advertisement above refuting the trinity? http://www.bibletoday.com/book/trinity.htm...CFQGPWAodt0RGRQ
  2. Someone suggested sharing a work of Wierwille's with other people.
  3. A personnal quest huh? It's been shown he plagerized other books. How can I believe anything vpw wrote concerning his intentions? As far as the content, that knowledge was available before he existed.
  4. I often get asked, "Well, do you have all the answers?" Uh, no, and, why is that important?
  5. Didn't vpw get the idea from BG Leonard? (Although Leonard view was a little different) I think the Christadelphians have believed the same as Wierwille wrote. http://www.christadelphian.org.uk/wcb/notrinit.html Does twi have an explanation as to why the Bible mentions God as "Holy Spirit" sometimes?
  6. vpw's twi lied to me. They tharted my knowledge of Christianity and kicked me when I was down. That would make them the devil incarnate to me. Now, in the rest of the World, nobody gives two hoots about twi, if anyone has heard of them. That would make them insignificant in the big picture of things.
  7. What to you tell someone raised in Nazi Germany? I think we are all accountable to different degrees. The Bible was right in front of us. I'm sure we all had doubts and questions we ignored. I find it annoyingly difficult to talk to those still in. They just don't think. They condemn themselves with their silence.
  8. I just wanted to post: Screw you twi Screw you twi Screw you twi THREE times, see, now they are completely screwed.
  9. But what about the "whoever." Who knows where vpw really got his "argument" in JCING? Kenyon and Bullinger are examples that he did have a habit of plagerism. twi did the work to make sure I was raised ignorant about Christianity today. Part of this was not allowing me to look elsewhere. Seriously, if I asked about another church and their beliefs or suggested going to see for myself, they pulled the your young and stupid card, obey your parents. (Or die outside the HH). I was taught that only twi knew the truth about J.C.'s identity. I was also taught that Bullinger denounced the trinity.
  10. I'm sure there are many other books out there. vpw, twi, and CES don't need to be a part of anyone's education.
  11. Other than taking the day off (which I'm assuming is a law, they probably also put the flags at half mast), I don't know of any other form of observance from twi. (when I asked some Staffers, they just kinda looked at me funny, oh well)
  12. "the more educated" I was referring to were those who took the trinitarian stance. (unless your saying the trinitarians learned from vpw , my guess is most never heard of him) If someone were making an argument, citing wierwille, when they unknowingly were quoting Kenyon or Bullinger (or whoever), they're own credibility would crumble.
  13. Of course. I wouldn't use any of Wierwilles books for debates. You may quote him thinking you're quoting him, but you don't know all of what he plagerized. A more educated person would laugh in your face. (I'm not saying JCING was plagerized. but since a number of vpw's works were, It's just not safe to assume you're quoting him. In a debate, you need facts.) I wouldn't recommend showing the book to a new person simply because vpw's name is on it. They may start reading his other works (like I did) and assume he did an honest amount of research. Just show them the other books. Or better, show them what you know. Nobody needs to hear of vpw.
  14. Got to go to my first game in about six years on Saturday. Reds vs Pirates in Cinci. Had a good time. Got to see some old Red Sox. Bronson Arroyo didn't have a good game. Gave up about 5 runs in three innings. Scott Hatteberg hit a homerun. Fireworks went off everytime the home team hit a homerun. The Reds were always down but started to make a comeback in the 8the and 9th with back-to-back homeruns. I got to bring a fellow from Germany to the game so he could absorb more of American culture. He doesn't understand how baseball is a sport. He had fun. My wife came also, and she enjoyed herself, which means we should be making some more games the summer. (sorry for talking about myself here, just excited)
  15. are you just saying the Bible is dynamic? Like how God has different names? Like how I'm different to different people? (To my parents I'm a son, to my wife a husband, to my son a father, to you a Russian pufferfish?)
  16. I once found a statement on Amazon.com that said the same thing. http://www.amazon.com/Jesus-Christ-Victor-...6837&sr=1-1
  17. (You didn't ask but) Mrs. Owens was buried next to Mr. Owens. (Now I didn't actually see her laid to rest, but I saw the area marked where she lays by the Fountain, next to Mr. Owens I believe.)
  18. I have trouble believing that twi was ever anything different then it was in the 1990s and now.
  19. Who remembers all of this? II Timothy 2:15 I'm not ashamed of anything something something something I know my father's will
  20. didn't Hagee also declare his "followers" have entered the promised land?
  21. 1. Motivation in the ministry was generally based on fear of death or other "attack of the Adversary". 2. Devils spirits were used to explain damn near everything in life. 3. Only leadership had developed the believing to cast the spirits out, the rest of us were still on "milk", aspiring to be like them. 4. Discerning of Spirits is a sign of maturity. 5. Critical thinking, or simple logic even, is considered devilish in twi. You believe what leadership tells you. You apply their previous reasoning to new situations. 6. This was the ministry that convinced its followers that twi saved the world from the wrath of Y2K 7. Even if I'm told that this story was made up, I'll still believe something just like it did happen, and more than once. 8. Nobody moved, because they were all lemmings, leadership didn't even need to be present.
  22. Did you find what you're looking for?
  23. Reminds me too much of "White Man's Burden"
  24. Did he have any relatives in twi Mr. H?
