bet ya I'm still on the "list" they have a computer to look at everyone who's ever "stood" in twi. I used to play with. They probably haven't had time to update it, seeing how more folks leave HQ than come in every year.

Jonny Lingo, Spoke with an innie recently. They met B.G. Leonard in 1980. They said to B.G. "So, you're a part of Dr. Wierwille's legacy, huh?" B.G. replied, "No, he's a part of mine." The innie didn't think anything of it then (1980, I wasn't even born yet). But since I told them your story above, they've suddenly started remembering things. Thanks for the story Jonny.

I used to like that book and read it a number of times through. Then I put my thinking cap on and realized there are points of i dunno. . "twisted logic". So I've put that book down.

WW and penguin, I totally agree. IMO twi is well practiced in the art of self-deception. Just thought everyone would like to hear twi's "view".

A standing Way Corpse working in The Way of the USA Dept. says there are 7000 standing in the U.S.

Well, maybe I won't agree with everything at this new museum then. From what you're saying it sounds like they only have one possibility presented on how things happened. I was hoping they would have more then just one group's opinion. Some people look at the natural world and say "Something intelligent is at work here" Some say "this all here by chance". I don't see any hard evidence to prove macroevolution. So there must be another option IMO. What exactly it is, I don't know. Probably neither evolution or Christian science.

I don't know if dinosaurs were on the ark or not. Usually, creation scientists say they died in the flood. Some believe in gap theory. I'm saying I'm tired of having the evolutionist decide what is good science and what isn't. I like that new ideas can be taken seriously.
-
Ha Ha That was fun.
-
I'm just saying if you believe in the great flood and the ark, that itself is weird. (I'm not saying I don't believe the Noah story) Elephants, hippos, bison, giraffes, salt water crocodiles, PLUS all those large animals that have gone extinct since Noah's time. Believing in evolution theories is just as crazy as the different creation science theories. I don't that you can argue the "sides" since neither the creationists nor the evolutionists have unified theories on what happened. No I don't think this thread needs to go to doctrinal. I am happy to see the creation museum being opened since it means new ideas can be considered. IMO these views have just as much scientific merit as the evolutionists.

Me? reliable and friendly? Fit with people quite nicely? Ha Ha.
-
I don't think you need faith of any sort to consider the creationist viewpoint.
-
a bunch of animals on a big boat and a big flood. That is weird.
-
If you think creation science is weird (and some of it is) don't forget evolutionist come up with wild stuff too. Remember Lamarck? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inheritance_of_acquired_traits

How can one have NO FRIENDS when it comes to the word of God?
Bolshevik replied to year2027's topic in About The Way
What Would Jesus Do? or as twi says: "Does my walk Glorify God?" twi always had me developing a sense of "Spiritual Correctness." Always asking myself if what I'm doing and thinking at every moment is "The Best". And since most of the time I don't know, they are always ready with their ideas. -
There's a loaded statement. Is evolution, science? Is science, truth? A true scientist knows that we know nothing with absolute certainty. There's examples of scientific theories standing as a fact for hundreds of years before being disproven. Sometimes things turn out to be true after many decades of being rejected. IMO, "science vs religion" issues are absurdly narrow arguments. I don't think they really have much to do with science or religion. anyway yak yak yak thanks :)
-
Maybe just call them devilish. Or blind followers.
-
I agree with you in part, both in scientific circles and religious circles, people try to squeeze everything into their own limited way of thinking. However, IMO there are good arguments out there for creation science. Although some of these guys get a little egocentric like vpw, I would like to see more of there arguments brought to public attention and scientific scrutinity. Evolution is commonly presented as the only possibility. No exeperiment I'm aware of has proven it. I could go on and on. . . I look forward to visiting some of these museums someday.

Now I hear they're no longer standing, have left Louisiana and moved to Ohio.

Say how you're thankful for God and Jesus Christ. Thankful for life and all God's blessings. . . . But never mention the Board of Directors.

Annam, I'm sorry I thought you had a real concern. twi is still around and hurting and using people. One example. Last year I witnessed (via the phone) as a dying man was witnessed too by an innie. As he lay dying, the innie, with leadership support of one or two states, drilled the Law of Believing to him. The man died and all the innie says is "Well, you can tell people The Word but you can't make them believe." The poor man needed a friend. Instead twi made him an object to be "witnessed too". I meant no offense to you in my earlier post.

An innie recently handed me that book. Looks like a good book. But that a wayfer handed me that book made me a little, I dunno, bitter? :)
