  1. Well in this case the 3rd person, the progeny, would be mixed in as well. Did the Research Department look into all these other ideas out there?
  2. Chirps are an example of how social media creates a mob. Boundaries are eliminated. Misinformation is transmitted and incorporated within the masses.
  3. What number exactly would have changed any decision? https://www.ilholocaustmuseum.org/the-holocaust-in-the-soviet-union/
  4. The TWI bookstore had silly books because The Way drew in people who were easily "oooed" and "aaahhhed" and would rather be spoon fed horse pucky than do any real work.
  5. Genesis 1:2 - The spirit of God brooded over the waters - like a hen on eggs Another thought as to the Holy Spirit being feminine
  6. https://www.thegospelcoalition.org/article/9-things-know-creation-modern-israel/ https://www.rbth.com/history/327040-ussr-and-israel-from-friends-to-foes That sounds familiar right there. Telling people what they feel.
  7. Wouldn't a political idea be establishing Israel to maintain influence in the Middle East? Because oil. Can't see why one would need conspiracy theories when the need for globalized influence was paramount.
  8. Research Department at the University of Bologna LINK The Bologna Process for your education LINK Being full of Bologna, and in one Accord LINK Just pointing out that Bologna has higher standards and ethics than TWI Research.
  9. By brainwashed you mean? Idealistic driven and drawn to utopian imagery?
  10. You're describing confabulation via confirmation bias. You literally decide anything you want, because of your narcissistic paranoia that your adversary is "out there", and decide that whatever you like is evidence. That's how revelation you describe works. You've given no test that might disprove your claims. You've lowered the basketball hoop and invented a new move. Growth does not happen in the real world without repeated failure and pain. You've provided a painless safe-space for yourself. Enamoured by the faux-intellectual reasoning, you're blinded to the real world. When tested against reality you can't see failure. You live in a fantasy. Your research produces nothing of value to anyone but yourself. When VPW received "revelation" he was lying to cover his own cowardness. He was too weak to compete against more competent individuals. So he used "revelation" to f_ck with the heads of overly trusting others. His leverage did not stand on its own. And neither does yours.
  11. In my experience, The Way and its followers did not focus on why Muslims, atheists, agnostics, Buddhists, or why they think most other religions were wrong. They were mentioned sometimes. They may have mentioned Jews and New Age ideas on occasion. Most of the time was spent verbally bashing Roman Catholism, Anglicans, Methodists, Baptists, Mormons, JWs, Orthodox, . . . anything holding The Bible or mentioning Jesus. They were clearly threatened by these groups. I think the links tried to show the term cult as a matter of perspective. Cults are cults depending on where you stand and how you view the world. The Way International poses as perfect Christianity. They are more threatened by people actually understanding Christainity. Because then it becomes apparent they are just making $#!+ up.
  12. I would here that comment in response to my question. . . "Why do I have to be a part of The Way" No acknowledgement that the other person is . . . . A person different from oneself
  13. If everything is a cult, then everyone is just like VPW. Definitions need to be settled on at some point.
  14. The definition they provide includes the word distortion. Using the word distortion implies misleading others.
  15. If you read the link Chockful provided their definition of cult is much broader than that. You're describing a subset of cults they refer to in a Christian context. https://www.gotquestions.org/cult-definition.html
  16. You could argue there are dimensions present that we lack perception to, and it's possible some beings can readily detect them as well. Same could be said for the electromagnetic spectrum. Some people see colors others don't. Some are blind. Some animals see colors no human is able to. We can build instruments to detect wavelengths outside what our eyeballs can receive. Same could be said with sound waves. We all live in a narrow band of perception.
  17. https://thewayinternational.com/ The website says they are Christion now, right in the first sentence. Did I miss that before? It was Biblical Ministry before. Maybe I'm just crazy . . .
  18. It makes more sense to me at this time to say Jesus Christ is The Word. When people were spreading "the message", "the word", they were talking about Jesus Christ. Not scrolls, although scrolls were likely involved. John 1:1 makes is clear The Word was God. Jesus said he was The Truth. Not a book. Thy Word is Truth. The Book's subject is Jesus Christ, The Word. I can imagine over time people confusing The Book with The Word. Words are in books. Kinda like a retemory mixes ideas up via association. (I'd probably have to say The Trinity makes more sense than it doesn't)
  19. Another problem with that equation is The Bible wasn't put together for centuries following Paul. I think the Roman Catholics put some canon together and the Protestants took it further. When folks 'received the word' 2000 years ago what were they receiving?
  20. Romans 12:3 There's a verse. Talk to Paul.
  21. Paul cannot respond me, or clarify my questions about what he wrote. I am speaking to living people, I was assuming. You could just quote the verse instead of posturing for some sort of high ground. This is not a game of gotcha. Your reductionist views are the box.
  22. This is why I'm afraid of pan-dimensional mice trying to take my brain. . . . Asking me the big questions about Bat-Mite 42 Wordwolf. Just 42.
