This was I think during the fog years. Why would he say this? He left twi. To run a "stick" fellowship not long after.

I can't remember my first word. nor can I remember my first SIT. but I do remember (when I was 11 or 12) that PFAL was booooooorrrrrrinngg. Nor did it make sense. I SIT at the end. Just like I always had.

I'm not the one to feel bad for. It's the other fool. ha!

I know when I got called into an office for whatever reason the conversions usually reached an inflection point. dudes would start yelling and pounding on the table and yelling and they weren't even looking at me. sometimes it was like they were looking at the ceiling or high up on the wall. their minds were off somewhere. where I don't know. I think I could have watched tv or read a book in front of them while they went off and they wouldn't have noticed. other instances, particularly one last summer, there's like a sparkle in the eye, the talk is slow, the mood is more devious-like. It's almost like they salivate as they watch you try to process what on earth they just said.

between all the door slams, cursing, police, and angry looks, there were some interesting people. Those folks I remember most. One girl in particular that was "witnessed" to decided to come along with us. It was quite a surprise. She was actually quite intelligent. I believe now she was trying to show us gently how dumb we were being.

They have a website so they can say "We have a website" when they "witness". The "work" is done face to face. If she's anything like me, Christian life is completely foreign to her mind. Aspects are mimicked as far as I can tell, but that's it. It is strangely different to me. Have you discussed the differences between The Law of Believing and Faith? I've heard of the party scenario before. They want credit for everything. Birthdays, graduations, weddings, babies. Everything. There's no middle ground. The Way is very much against marrying those who aren't standing, "outsiders". They will mostly work on her. Certain words her friends say trigger certain thoughts and strange emotions. The easiest, most comforting thing for her is for you to move her way. ("join" twi). You won't get what you want/need that way. Unlikely. Her friends will likely remain aggressive. If you walk away, they will keep "working on her" until she's comfortable with twi again. If you push, you will be doing exactly what her friends claim you would do, causing her stress.

what or who is "the machine"? who did the duping and the manipulating? I think people do it to themselves. "good times" kept some in but not others. "good people" is a meaningless phrase. bad things came from "good people" far as I can tell. bad things come from good intentions too. there are no "good people" or "good times". just mental perceptions. at what cost are people willing to pay to hold on to them or let them go? If having good memories is what matters most, perhaps things like twi are not "evil". Facing reality is for fools. If it makes someone feel good, feel like they are loved and loving others, it's okay. I sometimes think of it like a marriage where one partner is happy as a lark for years and years. Then one day finds out the other was involved in numerous relationships from day one. Should they give up those happy memories? Why have a sour attitude about it? They had a good time. Holding on to good memories for me crushes the idea that anything "good" in life is real. twi was and is a big fat lie made by everyone involved. If there's any value in them, imo, it's in learning what not to do/perceive/believe/fall for/etc.

If it were planned, which i don't believe at this point, they'd be ridding themselves of those who know too much and lightening the load. Maybe to change demographics and stories. but I doubt it leadership is just as deluded as the rank and file I think.

WTF? Do you miss the "good ole' dayz" of GSC or something? A time when conversations of about the dark side were light and refined? Is that it? I posted something of content. If I were really serious, I'd get booted for it. You're right though. This has gone down the crapper. Peanut butter and stuff.

They do this with hummingbirds so we know when to put the feeders out. I remember one dude was telling my mom about devil spirits. He saw two of them. One was really big and blob-like I guess and the other was a little fellah. They were together. He went into a lot more detail like the coloration and stuff, but I forget. So I'm wondering if anyone has been keeping a log, date, location, "physical" description, assumed catergory of spurt, activity, other notes. perhaps with our pooled data we can find hives and common migration routes. Maybe we can know how to avoid them better, a form of believing. so, any reports would be of interest! :)
