  1. A lot of folks have waited on Fidel Castro . . . I don't think Wayfers would ever see it that way. Death is just a nap to them.
  2. In my "experience", I can't remember a time when twi, it's followers, it's leaders, it children, where not trying to go back to the "good ole' days". Even people who weren't there, and didn't exist at the time, remember them. Some sort of Shangri La. All was very good in Wayville, till the serpent tempted Eve, or somebody. Jesus is coming back to restore the grounds at HQ, so that no grass blade be uneven. Damned those "good ole' dayz"
  3. Everyone dies eventually.
  4. Gunnison is not a root locale is it? Don't they have advanced class specials twice a year? Sacrificing kids, favorite activity of a wayfer.
  5. Well duh, so are you . . . everyone who looks on this website is. Except one or two lurkers pre-approved by her holiness the Q-tip. I thought "demon" was a softer way of saying debil spurt?
  6. Whoa, FIVE root locales? I remember when it went from two (Gunnison and HQ) to one (just HQ)
  7. I don't know, they kinda increased the water pressure on that last scene. Enough water pressure will carve through rock . . .
  8. It's a good thing they made cards . . . in case you forgot some detail or other . . .
  9. *knocks on wood* the sox are 5 games behind the yanks *knocks on wood* they play KC and Cleveland and the yanks and someone else to go *knocks on wook* they have the second best record in the majors for the moment *knocks on wood* just sayin' . . .
  10. I'll keep that in mind, thanks.
  11. I don't see much difference between the rank and file followers, and vpw, if that's what you're saying. All is fantasy. People wanted fantasy, vpw spoke of it, people wanted to hear of it, things didn't work as planned, people went back to just talking about it.
  12. It was not a difficult decision to leave . . . and if someone really bought the teachings I don't see why it would be a difficult decision. We were taught to have to not have any deep connections in the first place. Me, I told God I didn't care to spend eternity with Him. twi on earth was Hell enough.
  13. uh, sounds like a typical modern twi "campus fellowship" . . . just sayin' . . .
  14. How many that stay actually believe twi's stuff? The world was in darkness, until Wierwille believed and brought us the light . . . Why do so many insist that others should believe this? People are generally selfish. Making others believe what they do makes them feel better. Leaving would mean they are admitting to being wrong.
  15. I think I was told that guys like MLK, JFK etc had a "Martyrdom complex", either they or the Adversary had it set up.
  16. These sad things will continue . . . until Al Gore's demands are fully met.
  17. Cool video. Ever seen "Still, we believe." about the 2003 Red Sox? They interviewed a set of fans during the season. Documenting that pain. They did a sequel about the 2004 season. The fans didn't know how to feel anymore. Good feeling. . . . The National League seems to be interesting this year. (Course, I usually don't pay much attention). Phils vs Rox? I'd bet Phils LA vs STL? I dunno
  18. Some people like others to do the thinking for them. It cuts out risk-taking and dealing with reality.
  19. like you said, all solutions take time.
  20. Some like cards . . . others prefer dice.
  21. Things were best when lcm was in charge, imo. His reign didn't require as much thought or awareness to see the nonsense. rfr is a challenge for some.
