I don't see much difference between the rank and file followers, and vpw, if that's what you're saying. All is fantasy. People wanted fantasy, vpw spoke of it, people wanted to hear of it, things didn't work as planned, people went back to just talking about it.

It was not a difficult decision to leave . . . and if someone really bought the teachings I don't see why it would be a difficult decision. We were taught to have to not have any deep connections in the first place. Me, I told God I didn't care to spend eternity with Him. twi on earth was Hell enough.

How many that stay actually believe twi's stuff? The world was in darkness, until Wierwille believed and brought us the light . . . Why do so many insist that others should believe this? People are generally selfish. Making others believe what they do makes them feel better. Leaving would mean they are admitting to being wrong.

I think I was told that guys like MLK, JFK etc had a "Martyrdom complex", either they or the Adversary had it set up.
