Anyone on earth who wanted the word had access to it in some way. This usually meant, outside the U.S., there was a U.S. military base with a "believer" stationed there that unbelievers, who wanted to know, could contact. Most everyone else on earth doesn't really want to know the truth, so the word didn't need to go there.

I just remember, though foggy, a different title and completely different interpretation from vpw than from what I find on the internet. I don't think he mentioned verbal wounds, though he may have. I think he focused more on "The Father's" ability to heal wounds. Maybe he was lightly slamming the poem. I dunno.
