  1. . . . shucks . . . we ain't never had no strangers horndogs here at The Way . . .
  2. one of the "advertising" points of the advanced class was so you could see HQ and meet the directors. (oh what an honor <_< ) there was always one knuclehead in the class who would walk down WW Road to check to see that every blade of grass was the same height. It wasn't, I assure you. But somehow that's what people saw. A real spiritual experience.
  3. whoa whoa whoa . . . you don't actually listen to what he said . . . you go by the tones . . . listening only causes confusion
  4. Aren't there more important questions to ask in life?
  5. Part of my job was to sniff for fires. I was told wayworld tends to keep things forever, and these things eventually collect dust, decay etc. The neat and orderly piles of junk become fire hazards, so someone has to walk around checking to make sure they are not on fire. Couldn't you just bury it all in the swamp?
  6. I love it when watching a game being played at Fenway . . . seeing the crowd suddenly getting excited and cheering . . . for a basketball or hockey score . . .
  7. Is there a reason he insists on wearing red shoes? and hat?
  8. yep, it's just an equilibrium shift, why people try to keep things the same (as what?) is strange
  9. Haven't been able to watch a Red Slops game this year yet. Guess that's a good use of time right now. How 'bout them Rays? GO Bs!!!
  10. We were to work hard now so as try to get a better position in "heaven". You can't escape god once born-again, under way "doctrine". So you basically spend this life trying to avoid scrubbing toilets for eternity.
  11. Listening to vpw's old audio tapes he would say things I didn't care for. He basically said if you weren't a farmer you weren't $.... on one tape. On another he said, after reading Proverbs 31, all women need to have a garden, cause God said so right there int he verse, and he read it with such an arrogance. If you live in an apartment, you should at least have some potted plants, women. What an idiot.
  12. I don't think there was anything in that class I hadn't been told already. It's like any school, you go so you can say you went.
  13. no, so they could confirm what he knew
  14. In high school I hated having to ask permission to stay home to do homework (which I had a boatload of and really needed to do) instead of going to fellowship, which was every #@$%! night. College was only worse, since college is a waste of time, and your professors are lying to you, and you need to understand that you just tell them what they want to hear, since you already know more truth then them . . . and never miss a ministry event, it's more important . . . or we'll call your family . . . Never never miss a fellowship.
  15. I never heard it taught exactly that way but I sure felt it. Every time Eph 6:1 or "evil is bound in the heart of a child . . .use the rod blah blah" was read all the adult eyes in the room would turn their heads and stare you down. It's only logical. If you're not corps you've got to find someone you can pick on.

  17. No, sorry, I'm reffering to fence hoping.
  18. In twi, you're guaranteed eternal life no matter what. What's the worst that could happen?
  19. If you know the "rules" you should be able to play both sides, eh?
  20. He wasn't very charming on the audio tapes . . . didn't woo me anyway . . .
  21. don't you reincarnate? That would make you what? Mersenne 39?
  22. a prominent corps couple once tried to get my wife and I to move in with another couple, who were "rent to owning" a home. We were to pay rent of course . . . and teach them how to clean it. (By example I assume). maybe not a job . . . but not a fair deal anyway
