  4. nothing like taking 18-year-olds, blowing smoke up their arse for 18 years prior, sending them to HQ, then sending them back home 6 months later letting their family and fellowship know these kids are nothing but weak failures.
  5. there was that similar incident when a bunch of kids went to see what CES was about. . . . another time, a bunch of kids went canoeing as a group, to have fun, as a fellowship, . . . on a SATURDAY!!! all of HQ got a lecture

  15. Some of the biggest promoters seem to be the lifers who never went corps. I think I started feeling the pressure when I was about six month old. ;)
  16. It's crazy they don't sell out constantly . . . . Maybe now they'll build a larger fan base . . . I do admire the club of the past few years, and am glad they are no longer the perennial basement of the AL East. In '08 I had a stack of tickets to Cincy, but usually I wanted to stay home and watch the Sox on MLB.tv. I couldn't even give the tickets away, so I thru them in the trash. Course, in Tampa, the Sox would come around more often. (And nice to see you're back here . . . I was starting to wonder :))

  21. I remember as a kid sitting in fellowship several times and all the adults laughing and talking about how everyone else was calling them a cult. The news, magazines, relatives etc. (What? We're not the #1 cult yet?) Years later you go back to those same folks and say, "This is just a stupid cult", they'd be like "What? Nobody ever told me it was a cult" Bunch of vpw wannabes.
