rrobs! . . . I did find this website LINK

Did Mr. Rich post his name and/or website or did someone know who he was? I saw DWBH refer to an email address, I don't know how he got that. Is Rich Robson a real name? . . . just curiosity

1 Corinthians 12 - manifestation of the spirit.

If someone gets hit with a lightning bolt that could mess with their heart and they should probably go see a real doctor. -
See Page 16 of ADAN. If you don't agree with VP, it's all in your head.

Little confused here.

Maybe it is Wayspeak. Nice catch! I'll be thinking on that. ------------------ It is being presented here that Victor Paul Wierwille created a belief system for malevolent purposes. Also, that a student of PFAL incorporates that system into their being. The works of VPW and other people and personal accounts are evidence for this. You are arguing that you don't need to reflect on the evidence and confront the negatives. Because you just want to fixate on the positives. What you call "The Word". "The Word", in this context, is not The Bible. Although the words of The Bible are used. The inability to acknowledge the possibility of negatives in any meaningful way makes one helpless, and unable to do good. Because then one has no choice in the matter. Being unable to even imagine the evil of "The Word", one cannot do any significant good going forward. Looking at the facts, the negatives, of VPW and TWI one can easily imagine evil intents. It can easily be imagined that "The Word" destroys significantly more than it builds. Typically once a person realizes this, there's a number of choices to be made. Maybe you are able to imagine what is meant here, maybe you are not.

I said you're both right and wrong. Your statement is correct for the most part. Your application of the statement within the discussion is nonsensical.
-
Dear God, you're right! And wrong. So, so wrong.
-
We'd be basing this on his actions, not his thoughts. Those things, his acts, we can know. Perhaps you'd have a greater understanding of The Bible, if that is really what motivates you, if you did consider VPW's motives.

Happy 4th. Please consider why VPW didn't simply market the written works of others (Bullinger, Stiles, etc.) and teach based on their works, but instead chose to essentially plagiarize and later in time point to the original authors.
-
This isn't a likability contest. We're exchanging differences of ideas in hopes of learning something.
-
Blow jobs are better than no jobs. You had misunderstood me. I was trying to clarify.
-
Good. VPW didn't seem to think so. We agree there?
-
Hmm, no, I do not make that claim. I said "indicator". Which indicates that there are alternatives to think of but taken in context are quite helpful in directing toward a probable explanation.
-
So why not just market Stiles' book and avoid all the controversy? Wouldn't that make "The Word" more easily received?
-
I'm not saying this phrase in particular, but not everyone in TWI was from Western Ohio. A lot of phrases he used might be common to that area, but not other parts of the country and world. It's just another indicator that someone is dependent on what VPW thought.

A book makes claims about the author. In your case The Bible makes claims about God. I wonder what RHST makes claims about.
-
Entirely up to the individual in question. It might feel like skydiving for awhile so who knows!
-
Admitting the problem is 50% of the solution. Awesome Dude.
-
You're welcome.

I see four paragraphs of long-winded awful analogy to simply say "mind over matter" in an extreme sense. Complete with encouraging self-doubt. A fifth paragraph with no citations to back up wild claims. A sixth paragraph stating a cure to a problem that hasn't been properly demonstrated to exist.
-
Using Wayspeak I guess you could say, predicates that VP is already in the discussion.
-
I had asked a couple times about what was good about RHST. Then there were games. Maybe off topic, If you spend a lot of time with someone you tend to start thinking like they do. Same goes for reading. It's good to have variety to gain broader perspective. If you're speaking "Wayspeak" it's because you are simply not learning from other sources. (or you're putting on a show, it's year 2017) If you're learning from other sources the WayBrain thinking gets diluted, confronted, or displaced. Why only listen one source? Because he's your Father? *Throws stones at Stephen*

I remember a lot of talk in TWI about "The Mystery". Which was explained away as Grace. Life is full of mystery. It seems in TWI the mysterious, the unknown, that which can't be explained, was simply unacceptable. You've got to narrow your perceptions quite a bit to appreciate such certainty.
