    Wayfer doctrine, when blindly submitted to, set up barriers. i.e. Ignore fears and doubts, because they are tricks of an invisible Adversary. It stifles further consideration and prevents opportunity for reflection and change. Wayfers are then corralled into using inflating one's ego as the solution to almost everything. One example is using lots of head knowledge (which they'll deny) on obscure points to alter the structure of reality. Encouraging the horse to drink is the trouble.

    You meet people doing wrong all the time who feel nothing because they don't see the problem. They do what they like without inhibition. When someone's error does dawn on them, their eyes open, they feel ashamed. They are no longer in their little world of Eden. They are then aware of potential problems going forward, and what they personally are capable of. That is a burden. Maybe a better story than narrow honing in on parts of speech?

    I know I've heard the expression. It certainly implied some . . . higher . . . state . . . or goal to live up too. At least that's the impression I got.

    Exactly. The one I posted showed how normal humans could build the pyramids. Super-human, supernatural, and extraterrestrial methods don't need to be included when explaining history logically. Not that you can't use any of those three. But why chose any one of them over another?

    So why parrot VPW? . . . . Because they looked up to and admired him. Why look up to and admire him? . . . Repeated dopamine hits in multiple contexts with multiple people and materials all hinting to like VPW . . . or something of the sort So why hasn't rrobs gone beyond what he was taught?

    Lots of people, like you, said "all nine all the time". Was it because they did "all nine all the time" or someone or something convinced them it was possible and a real goal to strive for?

    Ha! Hadn't considered that but sure. Controlling a population, controlling a bloodline, to protect requires some sort of control, or else a line dies off as all do eventually?

    Thanks for the links. I enjoy mysterious archaeological finds. The mercury one I'm most interested in at this moment. I understood protecting the bloodline as the Christline. Might be a separate topic from this thread, maybe not. Keeping a bloodline pure seems a bit too perfect. Not something one or any group can easily influence or control, especially over ages. Naturally that would lead to a lot of destructive acts.

    Not sure I ever understood bloodline purity. Why are we keeping what bloodline pure? More importantly, is that from Scripture or something else? Not so much arguing against your view as much as asking if you're equating that if it all seems to fit, that must be the right way to look at it. Water often represents life's chaos. So Noah's Flood, Jonah in the Belly under the water, Jesus walking on water, there's symbolism there that takes on new meaning. . . . Point being there's other ways to make it all fit. You see these same or similar arguments with Tolkien or even George RR Martin's worlds. In one case the author is still here to ask! Again, not trying to say it's wrong, since the Bible appears to have layers. One way that fits is completely different from another way that fits and yet both can be true. But that doesn't mean anything is true. Also, do you have links to the cave systems?

    For signs and for seasons. And cycles. The Dog Star. An event that happens about this time. Ancients paid attention to the stars. They told them when to act, at times. The dog star, Sirius, (like in Harry Potter) . . . told Egyptians when the Nile would flood. Kinda good information to have? It's where we get the 'dog days of summer'. Just an example. Paying attention to the stars were of practical importance. I also agree there would be a plan in the stars.

    Totally agree Chockfull. "Traveling light" "Burn the Chaff" "Good stewards" "everything gives off something" "conduit for the Adversary" More than the money, the leader wants total control of the people. He must crush their inner voice. And get them to do it voluntarily. "Burn the Chaff" was a literal sacrifice to VPW/TWI. You burned what in your mind had meaning. Handing over bits of yourself until you were his. Cheapness was a way avoid collecting anything new with real meaning. It directed your mind's focus away from other matters and toward VPW/TWI . . . or at least put you in a place to make a decision . . . the old man or the new? God's Word or The World? VPW or You? . . . So your own growth would a halt.
