From what I've read Fundamentalism, Charismatic, Evangelical groups came in waves or movements over the past 100-150 years in response to secular happenings. VPW likely was opportunistic among these with his TWI and rode one wave. Something may have ended in 80s. But something else took it's place. TWI was not self-aware enough adapt and change. The earth was prepared for something, not for the sake of itself. Following that it talks about what was done with JC, again, for the sake of people. I do not see foreknowledge in those Ephesians verses in the sense that can be used to disprove a Trinitarian view of John 1:1. Am I missing something?

In a movie or tv show one scene can be used to deliberately get a viewer thinking along certain lines. A quick switch of scene in another time and place can then be shown, but those thoughts of the previous scene are present in the viewer's mind and affect interpretation of the new scene (which is fine and good in a movie) . . . . Foreknowledge is confusing to me. An infinite god could have infinite thoughts on infinite possibilities. What doesn't happen is in his foreknowledge? Then again, foreknowledge implies a timeline. Is God restricted to time?

They fear fear itself. Leadership has its bets hedged. There's always some act or thought that is less than perfect. Always. For a follower, should they accept the game, to reduce that anxiety it creates they have to do less . . . think less. . . that's risk avoidance.

I love it OS. It's a silly example but has truth of how things really were/are. Any corporation has layers of mind-numbing paperwork. Hopefully most use them with good reason, but those structures naturally topple in time unless updated or replaced. In this case of TWI, a complex system is used for a spiritualizing a simple task. In such a system, if you've got Way doctrine in your mind enough the interaction with others doing the same confirms expectations and will mentally cement it as a reality. Also questioning a complex process is not simply asking a simple question.

As far as genocide, there seems to be a similar argument as with the law and the flood. You're supposed to read something fierce about God's character and judgement. There was a process prior to genocide. Genocide and warfare itself of course, is not limited to humans.
