How Do You Handle People Who "Witness" To You?
gladtobeout replied to Oakspear's topic in About The Way
The J. W. come to my home almost weekly and the Moxmons come quite a bit too. In fact, they were here for about an hour last night. We have had them here for dinner. The moxmons are usually very young. They look like little children and so we thought they could use a home cooked meal. We are polite and we ask many questions. I asked them last night if they believe that we could become gods and they said, "Yes." They strive to obtain godhood. No matter how we may disagree, they are always polite. Not true for the J.W. -
I received a letter from TWI telling that I could not buy any books because I did not attend their fellowships. I didn't keep the letter though.

Does anyone have any questions for TWI leadership?
gladtobeout replied to gladtobeout's topic in About The Way
To TWI It has been brought up here recently that you have opened your bookstore to the public. This was one of the first questions asked on this thread. Could you please clear this one up for everyone? I was involved with TWI for a long time and I'm thankful for all the good that I learned. I wish no ill will toward your ministry but only would like some questions answered. -
cherished child Yes, I also would like to hear this rumor confirmed. Actually, if they are open to the public, I would like for them to announce it on greasespot. We have posed many questions for them and I would like them to answer. I know that it takes a group that is honest to come forward with those anwers. We'll have to wait and see if they come forward and respond. Action speaks louder than words. IMHO

They used to have concordances, Bibles, and many other reference books available. I tried to order from them a while back, but they said no. -
I have so many unanswered questions about why TWI does what they do. For instance: Why do you have to belong to their ministry in order to buy books and other educational materials? I mean, if you want people to know the Bible, then why keep it from them? I have many other questions but I'll keep it to just this one. Does anyone else have questions? I sincerely would like answers.

Tom You simply mix them and keep them in an airtight container in the Frig. They will stay good for quite some time. No need for baking or drying out. -
