Monsieur Pawtucket, on behalf of your favorite cults, I recommend a Thanksgiving toast. Be sent to all those spiritual guides, of your concern for their turkey roast. Best from France! Le Bump
-
Larry, are you and Cman spending ThanksGiving together?
-
So what's the status at CESTFI?
Bumpy replied to sprawled out's topic in Spirit and Truth Fellowship International
... hey, be careful there! And by the way, is “status” a word which relates to spiders and upward mobility, as in a splinter cult movement? And do turkeys and cult leaders have anything in common when giving thanks? And did they eat turkeys in the good ‘ol days of the way corps? And...ok, I’ll shut up! (Maybe Mr. Gear will come over here, and we can have roasted squirrel and nuts!) -
How ‘bout this for twisted...One corps meathead agreed with me that Beethoven and Mozart were indeed “geniuses”. That being the case, I was to consider the word ‘genie’ in the definition of their brilliance and consider whether when listening, the composers were not in fact possessed of the devil? What was a little twig leaf like me to think? :(

Watching the US Dollar fall to new record lows on a daily basis might be boring or uninteresting for most grease spotters? And watching billions in investor capital being wiped off the table as Wall Street bankers collect record bonuses, (and oil goes through the stratosphere...) But today if you watch closely, there maybe some oversized turkeys crash landing on some Thanksgiving investment portfolios. Watch out below!

Belle, Imagine if everyone had gone on a way corps union strike, as in La Greve ici en France? It would have brought a courageous UNITED FRONT to the abuse of the old brain washing business at hand. A united corps, recognizing the abuse of God’s children at the hands of the evil mog’s. A way corps protest of bad working conditions, living quarters, lousy food rationing, no financial rewards. A complete work and witnessing stop. A syllabus burning with green name tags melting in the Kansas snow. Krystal Nacht in Emporia! If only the MEN had stood up and said, “No More” brainwashing without retirement benefits!! How many wives would have been saved? <_<

When I read through some of these threads and in US newspapers, I have to ask myself, are all these crazy cults in America there for a reason? I know the “need to belong” is a universal human trait, but a need to belong to religious splinter (cult) organizations seems to be so prevalent or indigenous to the USA. Over here, there may be some, but I think most of the time members ride around on motorcycles. <_< Any ideas?

Folks, Bumpy had a very strange experience on the GS website yesterday. I was checking out VP here on this thread, when my Mac computers FROZE! (fortunately I have another). I then had to shut it down with the off button, with VP STARING at me! The computer would NOT restart afterward! We tried rebooting it, asked for advise on the Mac websites, everything. Today, we took it to the Mac repair shop in Dijon. The Hard Drive had Blown Up! Any Ideas...?? (I mean, If he had asked, I would have given him the donation!)

Like I said, it’s tough, very tough, being a Bills fan! Good thing I don’t have to watch them over here play like that either, (however I did plug into the “low lights” over tea). Obviously, the volume of the results was a little astonishing, even by my standards! Let’s hope the markets don’t react as much in the next few sessions?

Good Post Edi, but don’t forget that the medium of the internet has presented us all with new realities of human interaction and behaviour. All of this “invisible” communication, allows for slick human interaction with immediate (emotional) consequences. Those voices we hear may be far away but their effects hit us all at once. The brightness of the technology is only dimmed by the “actors” heart. I think it only changes when you meet the face behind the avatar at the barbque...n’est ce pas? :)

They tried to sign him up as a Buffalo Bison, but alas there's no Goldman office there to take the call :( . http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/7454466

Well, obviously there are hotels and there are “hellsholes”! I tend to try and avoid the the latter! Some of them in Dakar, Banjul, etc., can be quite interesting, whether it’s the plumbing or just the clientele. Public “hygiene” is just a question of interpretation, or possibly just what you can’t see...few complain. “Jungle” hotels are another matter because there are all kinds of noises in the night which might keep you awake for a variety of reasons. Some are noisier than others, and some make you think you’re imagining things, like where is that “security” guy? Some sounds you wish would just go away. When you see dead rats on the floor in the morning though, you know breakfast arrived early! Anyway, it would be funny for me to compare what someone else’s experiences are?

Does anybody have any African Hotel Experiences?

Hamm, if the debil didn’t get you possessed and all, how did you end up as a squirrel? btw. Have you ever “made it” wiz a franch squirrel”? There’s a few who could use a warm squirrel pelt down the street from me! meeeoooww!

Sorry to interrupt...but THIS is a podcast you can put on as background music to soothe your emotions! I haven’t listened to this stuff for years, but it sounds like I’ve heard “it” all somewhere before! It's the clarity of the voice and the presentation, as well as the humility and sincerity of the message! Can someone please tell me how long or how much practice does it take to get this all down so perfectly? http://www.stfpodcast.com/File/apr2007_communityofgrace.mp3 You will be blessed!

More timely crap...? IMO, You haven’t seen nothing yet! This liquidity drain is going to get a whole lot worse before we see...what? Clean energy? Those condo cowboys are just the tip of what’s lying beneath the waves. Oil price speculators (and taxes) have driven diesel here up 20% in two months to US $5.50 a gallon! Imagine how the 3rd world has to cope? My African taxi guy was always on empty before I left. Now, I don’t even want to know. I could cut and paste a bunch of crap but Wells Fargo pretty much said it all with this one: http://www.thestreet.com/s/stocks-take-ano...y/10390247.html You could soon see a real panik sell off, because everything is basically connected to a perfect storm scenario. If you can connect the dots, the bear is there and so is our cyclical recession. Lowering interest rates will (not) inflate us out of the problem. <_<

Rascal, you have a good friend with the shark lady...and she's a smart shark as well! I don't know if she can cook, but judging by some of her dental features, she can take a big bite (our of life!) Have a good evening, Bump
-
Not sure I follow that, but...anyway, I was just checking out your Texas BBQ and looking at everyone's pictures. Looks like you had a nice time! I have a bit a passion for the cuisine in France. It would be fun for me to meet some of the faces behind the postings.
-
Rascal, please, how many times have you in this thread repeated the word Galatians?
-
Not so fast...I just “visited” the twi shark tank. I did not drowned in the cool aid! There’s a difference, like not falling in love with a stock in a down market, or wearing a party badge to promote the Fuehrer! To answer your question as honestly as I can, there is always a search for the “truth”. But making that a convenient truth for the sake of argument and using Biblical scripture as back up, is at best a judgement call. If I have “quoted” the Bible as God’s Word to back up a particular point of discussion, I would try and keep that subject in the realm of very simple statements. For example, “love thy neighbor as thyself”... However, if you can prove me wrong, please research my previous posts and see what you can come up with. Then please come out of your kitchen with your menu suggestions!
-
Question: Do former twi cultists always use Bible quotations, when convenient, to substantiate whatever secular point they wish to make? And could this logic be a bi-product of post partem Way Brain depression remnants that could be classified as...mentally unhealthy? I mean seriously, if any non-pfal grad human was to go through most of these postings, there would be a straight jacket with a body in the hallway waiting to be picked up! <_<
-
Does this thread ever reach a conclusion? In real life would you really be going on like this? Just wondering.
-
Sounds like you enjoyed PFAL! Did you take it often? What I liked were the “advancement” possibilities from intermediate to advanced “graduate”! Also the range of classes made “available”! I wish I could remember them all? Which one was your favorite?

This may be of interest to some of you, especially if you plan on foreign travel in the future? http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=206...&refer=home
