Wow...how can anyone with a conscience read this video and not take a HARD LOOK at the fact that they are trying to preserve something that was SO evil. "A little leaven leaventh the whole lump"...! And I wonder if any of the Offshoot groups went back and scrutinized VPW's teachings---did he teach his plagiarized information out of context??? If so, then they stand on sandy ground. JAL used to say he didn't throw the baby out with the bath water, but I content there never was a baby in the tub! -
when I read your post, I too thought it was mean. If I did, and WW did, then others likely did not find it as 'tongue in cheek'. Roy has always been a gentle soul trying to communicate as best he can in his situation.

I think any of us would have used much more colorful language than this! Talk about beaten down...

Sadly, this SCAM did happen to Bo R#h@rd at headquarters. He built a house on the grounds for himself with no contract about ownership. When they fired him, they told him to get off of THEIR property and never come back. He was told that the building belonged to TWI. I can't imagine such an emotional and financial slap in the face. It was the best thing that ever happened to him. He left, got additional education, started a successful business(s), and is very wealthy and FREE today.

In the movie, The Devil's Advocate", Pacino states: "I rest my case. Vanity is definitely my favorite sin. Self-love, the all-natural opiate. It's not like you didn't care for Mary Ann, Kevin. You were just a little more involved with someone else: yourself." VP used vanity mixed with innocence to draw us in. Our motivations were honest...his were anything but.

When I was in the Corps, Mrs W taught us women, "When your husband is blessed...you will be blessed. You should actively work to see to that." Knowing what I know today, she flat out LIED to us. there is no way she was blessed by his treatment of her. Shopping trips and hair dresser excursions can only go so far to distract a person. I know a lot of people sympathize with her, but keep in mind she actively planted those ideas in the minds of innocent women.

Exie; A lot of us were insecure. The actress Sally Field stated this: "I was raised to sense what someone wanted me to be and be that kind of person. It took me a long time not to judge myself through someone else's eyes." It is a journey and a process and we come out stronger!

A few years back I did the same. I had held on to things for a very long time, but realized I needed FRESH AIR. So I burned notes and syllabi in the fireplace, I tore pages from the books written by VPW because I did not want them found and read by any goodhearted seeker of God. I ripped up cassette tapes and teachings, and boxed up scraps in plastic bags to be taken by the trash truck. When it was done, I toasted the whole event with Chardonnay. And you know what? A gentle cleansing breeze blew threw the screen door. It was as if God was saying, "It is Done". I felt so light. The memories of good times and good people remain in my heart. The rest of it is burned chaff. Life is renewed and renewing.

Is he the BEST she could do?? Maybe they're doing it for the combined Social Security benefits? I'd stay single...

Mathematical exactness and scientific precision...
Rejoice replied to Steve Lortz's topic in Doctrinal: Exploring the Bible
I tend to agree. After all, it says "We know in part, and we prophesy in part". I don't know if the Bible is intentionally ambiguous, but then again, we got it delivered through imperfect men. I'm sure it has been edited; those at the Council of Nicea messed with it a lot! -

Wow...and you learned the clarity of this in just your first year Greek class?? I've often wondered if the TWI offshoot leaders have ever bothered to become educated in the languages of the bible beyond what VPW told them? Probably not. -
I understand diabetes very well; it is in my family. Diet is EVERYTHING to control blood sugar; exercise is secondary, but definitely part of the equation. Try more of a South Beach diet or Paleo diet. And...regular coffee spikes an insulin response/resistance as well, so swith to decafe if you are a coffee drinker.

Hard to know if this was always there, or the result of drug abuse [more likely in her case]. However, this frontal lobe dysfunction seems to identify an insane brain even though the outward appearance doesn't reveal this. I agree, a brain scan on any of them (Rosie, LCM, VPW etc) would probably bring this out in the open.

It seems that STFI did this to JAL. Being so programmed by TWI, he immediately divorced his wife without even considering how ludicrous it was to follow that command. You cannot grow an organization from a rotten root, and this example portrays how the offshoots have carried the evil with them.

Most Fiery Confrontations Leveled at Dissenting Leadership

For all my time in TWI, they gave more power and control to Satan abilities, and mere lip-service to Jesus. They constantly talked about possession. They have no business calling themselves Christians! They are a satanic organization. I've often wondered if LCM's kids have walked away...quietly...and feel tremendous sorrow and pity for having the parent they never asked for or deserved. -
He's always done foolish stuff...at 63 you'd think he'd grow up by now.

Read the book, "Malignant Self Love"---which documents this exact behavior by extreme narcissists. The author suffers from this mental illness! http://www.amazon.com/Malignant-Self-Love-Narcissism-Sam-Vaknin/dp/8023833847/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1327253313&sr=8-1 -

Johniam...are you saying that Peter [the first Pope] could not possibly become possessed? Obviously Jesus recognized to whom he was speaking. Same goes for VPW. -

Sounds like the manner of the Wizard from OZ---the Great and Terrible Wizard with his loud yelling, thunder and lightening...FAKERY! -
He is uch a disgusting loser. I have often wondered if any of his family [parents, siblings, etc] ever pressured him to get into counseling? Or do they think he was railroaded? [rhetorical question]
