Carol Welch absolutely insists that I state that I didnt meet her until she registered at MoChat in 2007. Well, she is correct. And a valuable person she truly is! A real ace poster.

There was a site called JWO, which, back in 2004 or 5 a large number of GSC posters joined. I was not admin of that board, merely a poster there. Considerable attacks upon the admin here were launched at that site by numerous GSC posters. MoChat is a completely different board, of which I am admin. A number of GSC posters are registered there but only a handfull post regularly. During the 3 year existance of MoChat there have been 2 or 3 flurries of registration by GSCers, mainly to argue over certain issues. There was a lengthy arguement over some private ladies only room, with a couple of new registrees stoking a bitter arguement on that subject. More recently some chap who left here, Satori 1 I think, joined and prompted a period of discussion on GSC matters again. My board seems to periodically attract GSCers who wish to dissent on matters of admin over here at GSC. Well, they are free to discuss those matters if they wish. I dont direct what posters can discuss/ not discuss. Exy, DMiller, Carol Welch are all people I personally love, and who I met her at GSC in 2004/5. Im very happy they post at my little board. Ive never seen the admin over here mentioned by name, that I can recall. Most GSC registrees signed up there are now deactivated. Im not really interested in a bunch of lurkers coming over there for no purpose other than to read fights and join in and start fight threads. Thanks awfully! (Refiner)

Modern Chat is not any kind of Anti GSC or anti PawT board. It is merely a posting board, largely populated by ex JWs, where a number of ex TWI posters also post. They are all very welcome and their input deeply appreciated. I commented today that, looking thru the entirity of content in the Modern Chat TWI room, there may be as many as 10 threads which reference matters pertaining to the administrative decisions of this GSC board. Well that is fair discussion in my view. If Modern Chats 12 or 15 ex TWI posters wish to criticize admin here, they are free to do so. If those posters wish to praise admin here, they are free to do so. If they wish to reference discussions here and cut paste comments, they are free to do so. Pretty Nasty group apparently. There was a stink over here a few years back (oztraylia) where the government moved in removing children from the group cause they were concerned the kids were being molested. Having read a bit of there material I can say that, yeah, there are reasons to be suspicious, with a tendancy to sexualize kids ( and everything!) being quite apparent in their literature. Apparently the founder, Berg, was a real shagrat. Lookin thru their book " Thrilling Pictures of the Future", there sure are a lot of very scantily clad people in it.... and some of them loook...umm... well, pretty young.

Well Rocky, Ive been on diets and lost weight spectacularly. The only problem is, one cannot hold to those requirements forever because one feels hard done by eating such tiny serves. As long as I can EAT it shouldnt be a problem. My experience was at Weight Watchers, who set a weight stipulation that you are obliged to attain. They insisted I be a weight, 78 kilos, that I didnt want to be. So I dropped out after getting to the weight I was happy with. 92 Kilos. 200LB.

How many of these has everyone known. Some wannabe servant councelling you before witnesses because you are sat by the pool reading an Arthur Hailey novel.

I dont think that the leaders are sat there systematically planning methods to control their followers. I dont think they are conscious of that at all. Well, perhaps L Ron Hubbard, but most of the others, no. I think the leadership are trapped within the system as well, and are basically obsessed with not allowing a lamb to be lost and are rationalizing their decisions in their own minds because they are telling themselves they must desperately "protect" the household from the infection of worldly influence and the snares of Satanic influence. And so these control methods spontaneously generate within the group by virtue of it being a seperationist group with no external checks/balances and by virtue of its being a totalism. Considering that all cults basically manifest the same control methods, we must either say that all the cult founders have either read Hitlers Mein Kampf and Stanley Millikin and are fully versed in the methods of control, which they then wickedly set about implementing so as to fleece and flog the flock, or there is some other cause for these control methods generating within the group.

Enough to stop further questioning or consideration right there.

I Suppose they wish to keep it "in House" because they subconsciously know there is a whole lot of muck that could be raked up, muck which they want kept under the carpet. If the muck got exposed, their presentation of the Organization as a Utopia of perfection, unity, and absolute love might get some tarnish on it. As Shepherds they feel they are responsible for the loss of a sheep, and they dont want any sheep being offended by a tacky, nasty incident that gets splattered into general awareness because civil authorities became involved. The rational for keeping the civil authorities out of it, is of course that these operate under Satans direction. The External Enemy that the household must cling to each other against lest they be devoured.

I think if there was a man in existance who was truly content with himself and his own being he might be able to act in loving fashion tward others, but clearly such men either dont exist or dont rise to positions of leadership and authority within churches of the cult persuasion. Strangely. I have known loving persons of the religious variety, but these never seemed to rise to the pinnacle of leadership, being over run and overwhelmed by more forceful and assertive personages of the assertive and commanding variety.

My own dear mother, after becoming church innactive, had a friend acting as occassional gardener, came working at her place once every couple weeks. Anyways, he had a pair of boots stored in the laundry, and one day a church visitor must have seen these boots. Next, the church deacons turn up questioning dear mother regarding any 'improper" relationship she might be engaged in. She explained that the gardener was a harmless and innocent friend. One of the deacons replied "We must be carefull, very quickly and almost without thinking a hand can find itself straying towards a crotch". Imagine a church deacon saying such a thing to a 65 year old woman. So these are the kinds of idiot sleazes that are running other peoples lives.

Little men jusified in their own minds get to wield authority over underlings and cant resist their first inclination to humiliate others so as to elevate themselves. Nothing new in any of this.

They are indeed. By piling onto such ones decrying their opinions the problem is they may return to the fold of the church. But there are hard core apologists here yes? Posters who continually post in support of Weirwille and disrupt the general harmony and purpose of the board- Recovery and Support. The simplest course, naturally, would be to ignore the barbs of these ones, but that is not poster nature is it. Restrict their permission to post their Pro cult tripe in specific rooms. The vast majority here are exited the church and in recovery from the abusive system. So their needs take precedence. Especially the needs of freedom to discuss their issues without being blasted by some Pro Wierwillian apologist who might very well be an active member, and deliberate inciter, re the cult they are in recovery from.

Hi exy. Nust looking here I see talk about booting VPW apologists, Apologists offending those who are opening up for the first time with personal testimonies, etc. It appears to be something of a board issue at the moment. So Im commenting on the side of everyones having the right to post. If this site is predominantly a recovery site for ex members, I would just restrict the apologists from expressing their Weirwille defences in specific rooms.

The apologists, the Antis, the Big Leaguers and the small fry have the right to post. Or they should have. Restricting the things permissible in specific rooms would be a reasonable solution, and that is an Admin control/ Moderators matter to direct the flow.
