Well now...thinking about what ya'll have said about rebuilding the infrastructure and it being such a big job. I think that it would work better if they did that work with a board of people, with a Pres at the top that did not have ultimate power. Last I knew he was still in LR. But that was a long time ago. I helped him replace the water pump on his car once. It was one of the most educational experiences I ever had. A truly amazing man. I remember when his dog died. I was in my first year in res. I called from Emporia and everyone that was in the house all prayed with him and cried with him. Yup he is quite a man.

Of course there's a good side! I just love my pearlie whites! See Dan found a pic right after a cleaning at the dentist. He was very good....with gravy! And as far as the whole ocean thing Dooj darlin' your just jealous 'cause I'm a full figured shark! So there! Hmmmph!!! <_<

I think I can understand why you say that it was no big deal. Nobody that you made a big deal out of it that you know of. Had I been the person in charge of that class I feel confident that I would have taken that man aside and after telling him how pleased I was for his healing I would have spoken to him about the innappropriate action. I would have followed that up with a private discussion with the woman and if nothing else an apology would have been given by the man to the woman. Other members of the class would have no idea that any of this took place unless one of the participants spoke up.

I also love to see God work in this manner. I havent read any "books" recently but I do read the "Biblical Archeological Review" regularly as well as "The Smithsonian Magazine" and the "Discovery" magazine. All lend a different aspect of the world around us to my perspective. In Romans chapter one God says that "For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, His eternal power and Godhead..." I figure that if God shows us the invisible things through that which is visible and in understanding those things we witness his Godhead and eternal power then it behoves me to pay attention to the world around me.

John, I dont recall ever saying that your input was without meaning. I recall saying that it was without understanding in reference specifically to the single word "rape". Not that you named me specifically but I wanted to clarify since I could be one of "these women". And you are right I would have no true understanding of what it would be like to be impotent. But I imagine that I would be excited if it were healed. That does not excuse the unconcerned behavior of everyone else in the class to an inappropriate action, however unintentional or unthinking it might have been.
