You know that we don't HAVE to have ONE get together. If any of you recall, we had the GS third birthday party and that was a huge success. I think that regional get togethers are a great solution. If Hope has one in FLA, and you want to go, GO. If Suz has one in the great NorthWest, GO. Maybe we are too Rock-brained ;)--> [This message was edited by pawtucket on January 11, 2004 at 17:45.]

We are not capable of planning get togethers... everyone wants it in their backyards. The beauty of the Weenie Roast is that Herb posts the date and the place and you are there or you are not. I know that there will be something in Washington this year and probably a second one too in another area of the country. So to settle all the bickering, let's just have it in my backyard.

The problem lies somewhere in the Private Topics. I was doing a purge of older inactive threads just prior to it happening the first time. In case it happens again, I have put a link in the intro page of the forums on www.greasespotcafe.com that lists all of the forums on GS Here it is for you to bookmark for future reference. Well how in the hell am I supposed to do -- Excathedra, the true Hollywood story, if you erase the script? -
I have a few thoughts. 1 it has to be discreet, not secret. 2 it has to involve locals 3 it has to be simple, very simple People aren't leaving in droves anymore. If you start a PT as one of you already have the topic could start being discrete. [This message was edited by pawtucket on January 06, 2004 at 12:46.]

Well this thread has taken a sudden turn for the worse by Assuming!! If I were going to compile a book based on this forum, I would get permission first. [This message was edited by pawtucket on January 03, 2004 at 16:34.] -

Karl's book is a very good read. And another book is in the works. ;)--> -
Jonny, Isn't Ann Marie just the greatest? I have to go visit her soon.

I was just reading LindaZ's thread in the About the Way forum. Raf made a post suggesting that it go in the Greasespot 101 forum. This was a project gone askew. I would like it to be THE forum to get vital info that can bring someone up to speed on the Way and on GreaseSpot itself. Anyone that has suggestions of topics, please put them in here and let's get the GreaseSpot 101 up to speed.

dmiller, hover over any of the icons and hold the ctrl button and click and then save the image. That is how to do it on the mac. Pay attention to the folder it stores it in and give it a name that you will remember. If you have any mac questions, feel free to email me.

Def, Lay off Roy. He writes to get the ideas out there. I have never had a problem figuring out what he meant. If it irritates you, then I would suggest that you don't read his posts. That would solve the problem. If I wanted people adept at spelling, it would have been in the rules, it isn't. and Mike, I have to say you have the tone of a principal or professor just letting us know what is in store for the next semester. I should remind you that these are discussion forums, not lecture platforms. And as was mentioned in an earlier post, most of what you start is doctrinal not about the way. Please start them in the correct forums.

I worked at the Catholic church when I was younger. Do you know what the number one question the church would get on Christmas Eve? -

Merry Christmas to all. I am very thankful for each and every one of you. Some of you make me laugh when I most need it. Some of you make my blood pressure rise, a good check of the valves. I get to help some and I get quite a bit of help from you. Some of you give me challenges that keep my on my toes. It is a real pleasure to make this site available to each of you. In the near future, there will be some exciting new changes and improvements to make the GreaseSpot experience that much better. I wish all of you and your families the very merriest of days. No matter what your belief system is currently, Christ's birth brought us together directly or indirectly. So celebrate!! And PLEASE someone eat some of this fruitcake!! -
I will check that out.

PT's can't be deleted by the user. I delete them when they are inactive for over 90 days. Although I actually only go in and do that a couple of times a year.

Yes very good question.
