Zix, With Steve!???? I like looking at sports cars that I am never going to have. Makes me appreciate the car that I do have. Those cars are usually very high maintenence and not what I would like. Some of them are comfortable once you are in, but are awfully difficult to get in or out of them. I just think we should go Zix, not for what we could see, but to appreciate what we have.

I do show you as having HTML permission

CW, I am still tweaking in the back room. You should have permission for HTML. I promise I will check on it before weeks end.

two things Linux isn't for someone that is a novice with the exception of two flavors (there are many many versions out there) Lindows and SUSE Linux 9. I have used Lindows and it is very user friendly, it is more of a commercial product and not looked upon nicely by the open source community, but the average person can use it. SUSE Linux has probably the best install process of the 4 or 5 that I have putzed with. The interesting thing about what Microsoft has done and continues to do is take over a particular product area and monopolize. Quality then becomes controlled by the company not the consumer. And they have no plans of stopping. They are in development of a product to take out Macromedia's Flash. Hopefully product allegiance will prevail.

I am very happy to announce that Private topics are not available to be seen by ANYONE except the participants. This should put an end to the accusations. Probably not, actually, but I can hope.

well it isn't like you sent me an email weekly about it. But I know you have suggested that idea a number of times.

Todd, Very well put. I have been hoping that some of the doctrinal folks would put their two cents in. Because if I move stuff from About the Way to doctrinal, then doctrinal will suffer, I think. Maybe the forum that Rafael has been requesting for ages will come to pass.

I have not misrepresented you, Catcup. You DID register on this board in 2002 about a week after it opened. You have barely posted in the past 18 months, so I think that number is probably accurate. You could always send a simple email to me, to find an answer to a question instead of publicly declaring a misrepresentation.

oldiesman, did you just derail this thread?

As some of you know, I am a fan of the Linux operating system. One particular company that sells Linux is Lindows. They have approached it differently than most of the other Linux companies. I subscribe to the Lindows newsletter and today's edition is quite scary. It is about what Microsoft is doing to shut this company down. I thought you would like to read it. Lindow's Newsletter (and yes I will move this into the political forum, if the need arises)

I don't know that the Does ARE paying rent. In fact info from a few years ago indicate that the Does live there as part of their "compensation" package. AND they didn't rent it back to the original owners. The family living there now are reportedly, the Son and Daughter-in-law of the original owners.

great input, thusfar. I should interject that I won't start a "Mike" forum. Many complain about his agenda, doctrine and audience, but his threads are getting mucho hits. Mike has already been informed that a move is inevitable. I am going to place this poll in multiple forums, just in case the "Doctrine" folk don't come in here.

The main site has a bunch of info. I have a forum called Greasespot 101, which will have a number of vital threads. Suggestions are welcome. Wordwolf gave me a bunch of great possibilities and I should be working on that in the next week or so.

This forum has a grey area. When it tetter tots on the line between discussion about the Way and doctrinal discussion of the Way. I'd like some feedback on what you would like to see happen with the ones that cross into doctrinal.

I was intrigued by the info Pat had put up on his site a month or so ago concerning property that TWI owns in the Toledo area. It was interesting information, but speculation was the best we could come up with in these forums. I knew that for a time, LCM was living with a family in that area. The address that I had vs. the address TWI owned were different. I knew that in that area, there were full time and, I believe, part time corps. So it may have made sense to buy, instead of rent in that area. I was missing the info needed to make the jump from data to meaningful information. Well about 3 or 4 weeks ago, I was told the name of LCM's physician, when he was still in charge. That person, who I will call Dr. John Doe, was the person that LCM was purported to be living with immediately after his oust from power. LCM was reported to be suffering from great depression and Dr. Doe was taking care of him. Well the name Doe stuck with me. I had seen it somewhere else and couldn't figure out where until I went back to the source of the docs Pat had gotten. In August of 1996, when TWI bought the property, it was FROM THE DOE FAMILY! This house was purchased from, I believe, the parents of Dr. Doe. Then I researched further and guess who is living there NOW? None other than Dr. Doe and his family. Dr. Doe's practice is in the same city. From the numerous reports that I have received in the past year, LCM is NO longer living there, but has a small apartment nearby. I am not using Dr. Doe's real name. And I would ask that if you do know his real name not to post it. So, although indirectly, LCM was cared for through TWI for some time after his departure.

Rosie's handwritten note about the McMullen trial
pawtucket replied to IMF777's topic in About The Way
IMF, You said the following. Please take no offense, but I don't think you can hold the copyright on the ellipsis. -
Well I get alerted for the usual suspects and you two aren't on that list. Radar -- yours was for a using someone's name.... which I am sure you can figure out. Alfa (great pics by the way) If you were to put the pics up in the picture forum and then refer to them, you would not be put into the queue.

Rocky, You have access to the political light forum. I moved that where it belonged and where you had access. You have been given a place to air this whole thing out in private and won't do it. I think that you just love to complain. And that you love to publicly put people on trial. Since you have now made this public, why don't you at least be honest about the reasons. You haven't been thusfar. You throw about phrases such as "the evil one"; "the hateful one" and "coward" concerning QQ, Zixar and myself. I can't speak for the others, but I have given you EVERY opportunity to join in the community, but you choose to be the persecuted one. That is the choice that you made. And now you advertise it readily whenever you can. You are harassing ME now. I don't usually do anything about that since it comes with the position. But you have done it to others and YOU have been allowed to "get away" with much more than others on this board and I have protected that information and will continue to do so. Long Gone sums it up pretty well. You are one of the highest maintenance posters I've ever had. Fair or not, I have to draw lines. I set up rules that seem to satisfy the majority of posters here. You had chances to discuss your concerns, but chose to complain later instead. I am done publicly dealing with you. This thread is the last place I am going to tolerate your complaints. Fair or not that is the way it is going to be.

Are you using the new Mozilla Browser? You will have to log on from that, it won't remember your login from Internet Explorer. Make sure CAPS aren't on. Make sure to click the , remember my password, box. Mozilla has a little quirk that happens. When you go to the main page, it says you aren't logged on, but when you click into a forum, you are logged in
