Private Messages are private. If I felt like going through tens of thousands of lines of code that make up the threads and PM's, I could probably find PM's. But I assure you that I don't have the time for such stuff. Nor do I have the interest. In an early version of the last forum we had. There was a glitch in the system that revealed PM's based on keywords. That was fixed in a later version at my and many others' requests.

Rhino, I did not walk away. I opened a topic that needed to be discussed. And it has been discussed. There isn't anything that is being said that I could have said better. I have spent well over a dozen hours dealing with this topic If you have a problem with chat or the management of it, then send me an email. I don't see what chat has to do with this thread. If I had a problem with your actions, I would email you and let you know.

And here is part 2 of the discussion. Enjoy Episode 4 part 2

Here is episode 4-- a roundtable discussion of this thread. Episode4

GSRadio is the name of our "podcasts". Go to the GS radio section in the General area, below Open forum and all of them are there to review. http://www.greasespotcafe.com/ipb/index.php?showforum=62

Yesterday I tried an experiment. I invited 3 posters in a conference call and we discussed this very thread. This will be Episode 4 of GSRadio. I prepared it last night. I just want to add some music at the beginning and the end. Then I will post it this evening. Hearing a post adds much to the meaning. If this goes well, we will do it regularly.

I checked Snopes and this post never happened

Episode 3 part 2

Here is part two of the interview. I was having a problem with the sound levels which is why it took so long to get uploaded. I wanted to dedicate this to the moderators that have helped me in the past 6 years and continue to do so. They have a truely thankless job, but I certainly thank them for their time and effort. I am using the threads I mentioned as examples of what I see happening here. There are people that lurk but won't post after seeing the way people are received here. And others that have posted, that I have been able to contact, leave because of the harshness that their ideas receive. I think that Linda Z used a valid example to make her point. We misdirect our anger here, imo. Wayfer Not -- the fact of the matter is that willing partners are out there and their voices are just as valid.

GreaseSpot has always made an effort to "protect" victims. I have met with great resistance defending my stance. I am wondering, now, if that decision was erroneous. In a thread recently, a woman spoke openly about an affair with LCM. She made some observations that, I felt, were honest, not GSPC but honest. What followed was a vile bashing of her and her opinions. Was she not entitled to her opinion? Or have we gotten to the point that we throw stones and ask questions later or never? Now I know that GS is a tough crowd, but My God. And to add to the disgust of the whole thing, people that I have protected in the past were in the front row throwing stones! And I don't know what to do about it. I really don't. We bite the heads off of regulars and DON'T get me started about new people. I have had numerous emails telling me to be careful of two posters that "know" LCM. They will most likely NEVER post here again. I certainly wouldn't with the kind of treatment they were given. I checked both of them out and there were NO signs that they weren't who they said they were. Heck I even found out the favorite band of one of them. I am not going to threaten any censorship. I am not going to threaten to close forums down. I AM going to ask that you NOT become the people from whence we came.

That would be a binary file. Are you running Windows or a Mac?

It was offensive to a number of people. This site is frequented by all ages also.

Part two will be up this weekend.

Where am I going with this? Simple. It is not fair to the rest of the community here to infer that corps are the only ones up for the task. Your premise excludes many fine men and women that are more than up for the task AND are doing something about it. I think your premise could be a little better thought out, that is all I am saying.
-
So are you saying that non-corps aren't leaders? Welcome Mr. Pipes.
-
Do the way corps have special powers, short? Are you saying that they are an elite group? That kind of thinking is a big part of what is wrong.

GS Radio is a podcast

I have a buddy Jesus!

By the way, likeaneagle, this interview is a direct result of the thread you started a few months back wanting to know more about me.

Well for what it is worth, they are posting from the area that they claim to be. IF they are not who they claim to be, time will tell that one. BUT they should be allowed anonymity as is everyone else here, as they choose.

6th Anniversary. It's been an interesting journey thusfar. The forums are where GS started. People from around the world involved in or affected by The Way International have come here. Some for information. Some to talk. The pages have run the gamut from despair to joy. Fights abound and friends are found. I like this place On the 6th annivesary, I wasn't sure what to do to commemorate it. I've been busy working on GS Radio quite a bit and this date snuck up on me. I threw out to a few asking what we should do. The girl jumping out of a cake lost out to a special episode of GS Radio. Taking the reins as interviewer is none other than Rafael and he interviews none other than me. The volume fluctuates in the first few minutes so be forewarned. I will adjust that this evening. http://www.greasespotcafe.com/audio/Episode3.mp3
