  4. I've used Netflix for about 6 years now. I love them!! Monday I mailed out my return discs and Wednesday I got the replacements. I've gotten scratched DVD's occasionally. I go to their website and report it and the next day they send replacements. You just send the damaged one when you get a chance. To make Netflix economical, you have to do a few things. First make sure that there are always movies in your Queue. Then make sure that you send the movies back as soon as you are done. They make their real money on you letting the movies sit at your house for a few weeks. (you are paying 19 bucks a month whether you use them or not)
  5. I got to hang out with John S. one night a few years ago. I was explaining what GS was all about. At the time, CES was fairly anti-GS. He actually "got" it. He really had no idea the impact things like the Adultery paper had on Ex-way folks. I like John. I don't like the situation that he is in right now.
  6. I owned a 94 SL2 and had it for about 8 years. (I bought it new) I had no problems with it. The only reason that I traded it in was to get something bigger. (Another saturn)

  12. The undying hope for resolution
  13. Does this mean that you are staying? If so, I have to make some calls to hold up on the paperwork.
  14. Wouldn't it be nice if life was like American Idol? Someone else decides your fate. Don't put that on the GS community. As Rocky said, you make the decision. Do you think people are sitting around pondering, "Should Ducttape stay or go?"
  15. Bumpy, It's not censorship nothing even closely related. A thread was moved. That's it! Get over it. There are certainly more meaningful things to be concerned about.
  16. Welcome back. You are welcome to post in the doctrinal section, but be forewarned it is a tough crowd in there, be prepared for challenges to your belief system
  17. A man in Ireland was driving through town weaving to the right and the left. The local policeman pulled him over. The man rolled down his window and stuck his head out. The policeman caught a strong whiff of alcohol. "Sir, you are drunk!" The man blessed himself and said, "Thanks be to God, for a moment I thought my front end was going out"

My father came over from Ireland on the boat with a suitcase and some bagpipes My mother came over from Ireland on a plane and got stopped in customs for having a dead goose in her luggage. The customs man asked her "What is this?" She replied, "Dinner" The customs man closed the suitcase and let her through
  19. The little subtopic??? The celebration is about 6 weeks too early. The birthday is April 21. 7th Anniversary.
  20. That message does NOT mean the data is lost. The drive has lost it's ability to boot the computer, but not necessarily be accessed. If you have your Windows disk. That disk can boot the computer and do a repair of the disk.
  21. Linda, It has been much much more than a changing of the guard. This whole process from December on has made previously suspicious doctrine open for discussion. I have heard of this activity for about a year now. But I was never able to get any documentation until I was approached in December. Personal prophecy was widely used in CES/STFI and it really had no Biblical roots. I've received dozens of emails from people that thought something was wrong, but didn't know how to bring it up. I think this process allowed doctrines to be discussed freely and openly. On a personal level, I have some life long friends that I felt were being duped by some of these practices. From their viewpoint, they thought something wasn't quite right, but "trusted" the leadership. I don't think we have revamped their doctrine, but we have made their followers aware, which is always a good thing. If they decide to continue following, then at least they have seen another perspective.
