http://beatlesstory.com/news.asp?key=2&...=&nid=BEATL 50 years ago was the day that Paul McCartney went to a church fair to hear a group called the Quarrymen play. Later that day Paul would meet the front man, John Lennon. http://www.contactmusic.com/news.nsf/artic...beatles_1036796

Let's discuss what you would like for this week's podcast. I am open to a number of things. I know that the discussion last week was about art. If that is still on the table.

I think my first job was when I was about 6. My great uncle always had parties and couldn't be bothered with bottle returns. So I would take my wagon down to his house and load it up and bring it to the liquor store. I would then go next door to the pharmacy and buy comics with the earnings. Then I did the paper route, snow shoveling, mowing lawns thing. When I was 15, I got a job at the local ice cream/restaurant and did dishes and then learned to work the counter. I got fired for forgetting to put a banana in a banana split.

I think we will hold off again today. The day got the better of me. I am working on a few projects with deadlines that need attention. Although if things go well, I have no objection to something much later this evening.

I'll set this up today. Did any of you set a topic?

Twinky, John did take the class John was publishing pamphlets as far back as 1986-88. He does not and has not tried to be anyone's Guru. I've never known him to be anything less than honest. I've known him for close to 25 years. He is a pastor at a church, which I believe he's been at for about close to 20 years. He has a wonderful family. His work has helped many people. And I don't think he has any agenda above or beyond trying to help others get educated on TWI. Personally, he has helped me long before Waydale and Greasespot existed. I have never seen him ask for anything in return

I won't be home in time to do it this afternoon/evening. We will have it again next week and/or if you want one during the week to accommodate schedules, let me know.

I haven't been able to line anyone up for this week's podcast. So I am thinking about cancelling it this week. But I am open to suggestions.

David is one of the leading bibliographers of the Jesus Movement in the late 60's. He was there when it began and knew the major players from Lonnie Frisbee to Steve Heefner. He will be talking about that time and how VP Wierwille showed up during that time. I'm excited about hearing what happened during this time. The show will start at 5pm eastern time and there will be a question and answer time.
