  3. This is one of a few videos that the Fratellis have put out from their first album called Costello Music. Their harmonies are infectious. They are a trio from Scotland. I have been playing their album over and over. Power Pop.

    Ho Ho Ho

when it is your birthday and your roommate says to close your eyes and make a wish. When you open your eyes look right at your roommate and say, "Damn, you are still here!!!!!"
  5. Thanks for all the well wishes, it is appreciated.
  6. Another Dan, He was quoting John Lynn as if John was responding to this thread. He just pulled a quote out of a letter that wasn't related. He was misrepresenting John Lynn and taunting DWBH. When I found out where the quote was from, I deleted the misleading posts and told Larry that I was going to do it.
  7. They played Alice at noon time yesterday on a local station. I listened start to finish
  8. HA I am listening to Hot Tuna Live at the Sweetwater right now. Maggie's Farm with Bob Weir. John Barleycorn is another favorite of mine (Did you know that that was supposed to be a Winwood solo album?)
  9. I wanted to stop and take a moment to thank all of you. This board spans the gamut of emotions for me. Somedays it makes me think, others it envelopes and traps me. But I try to stay focused on telling the other side of the story. We are unique in the ex-way community. People can come from any offshoot and speak their mind. And diversity!! Something for everyone. It thrills me when someone comes to that moment of realization. Or finally has found people that understand the gook that has been floating in their head. My hope is that you are a healthier person for it. Disagreements abound as you realize that it is okay to think for yourself and not buy into the company line. I am thankful for all of that too. I hope that you have a wonderful thanksgiving while in front of the turkey and watching the games too.
  10. Thanks Larry. I will remove your posts with that in there since that quote is in no way directed at any of the posters on that thread.
  11. Larry, Please state the origin of that John Lynn quote you are using. And your message has been received. After the 2nd one you are just harassing people!! If you don't have a source for the John Lynn quote then I will remove the posts. John can be his own spokesperson.
  12. Song for our Ancestors by Steve Miller Band I am listening cuts from their first 3 albums. Boz Scaggs was in the band at that time.
  13. I may just bring my own plastic cups next time that I use a hotel.
  14. Larry, Instead of demanding that others bring the info to you, just use the search and get the info yourself.

    Changes

The exact song I was humming when I named the topic. I first heard that song at a college in Worchestor, MA. Didn't know who the artist was. Got the album the next day.

    Changes

I've been going over some of the suggestions and observations from the Infamous Corps site thread. Over the next month or so, I will be making a number of changes. The first of which, I just did. The original reason for a forum was to discuss the other side of the story in relation to TWI. That is now back in the Number 1 position on the Forum list. All the other forums grew from the About the Way forum. With that change, I have moved the CES sub forum from Open to About the Way, since it's origin is a result of the Way. I have also made public a forum that was an experiment, The Way in Europe. This is primarily for our community "across the pond" I will also open up a forum specifically for New Members. This is where new members can ask questions about the site -- navigation and the such. Only friendly posts here. Socks had a recommendation about having a thread that would give a brief explanation when something is moved or deleted. This thread will experimentally try that. Although we have been for the past few months leaving a note when moving a thread. I am making no promises that this will be permanent, but we will try it. I am also working on (another Socks suggestion) simplifying the whole "ban/moderate" system. The moderating is a pain in the you know where. I'm leaning towards the Hockey Penalty Box as a new system. When I have it ironed out, I will post it. I have had a number of offers from folks to help with the moderating. I should make a decision in the next week or so. Thanks for all the suggestions that I have gotten in the past few days and the show of support, it means a lot to me.
  21. Larry just posted this. I have just a few things to say. If you have a problem with thinking that we are reading your PM's, then don't use them. Larry seems hellbent on making the management at GS look dishonest. The moderators do not have access to your PM's. As I have stated before, if we wanted to go through an awful lot of trouble and had the proper tools, we could get into your emails. If it is that big of a deal for any of you, then don't use PM's. Get an email address for someone that you want to contact. User ID's can be changed by request. I've worked very hard to make this a place that you can debate, discuss and share ideas and thoughts. I believe that it has been and continues to be a success. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at pawtucket@greasespotcafe.com
  22. Larry, If you have something to tell me, please email from here on in pawtucket@greasespotcafe.com
